Search for Scot with unclaimed £3.6m EuroMillions jackpot ticket

One lucky Scot could be sitting on a £3.6m jackpot as a EuroMillions ticket has been left unclaimed in Fife. A record jackpot of £208m was up for grabs during the draw on June 13. Five UK-ticket holders won £3.6m for matching five main numbers and one lucky star number in the draw; however, one ticket holder in Fife has yet to come forward and claim their prize. The Fife winner could take home £3,613,887. The winning numbers on that date were 2, 28, 40, 43, 45, and the Lucky Star numbers were 3 and 7. The missing ticket holder matched the five main numbers and one Lucky Star number. The lucky winner has until December 10, 2025, to check their tickets and claim their prize. Anyone not in possession of their ticket but who believes they have a genuine claim can still make one in writing to Allwyn within 30 days of the draw. If no one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK. Andy Carter, senior winners advisor at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, urged people in Fife to search 'anywhere and everywhere' as the multi-million ticket is lurking somewhere. 'Do you live or work in the area, do you have family and friends there who you were visiting or were you just passing through?' 'Take a minute, find your ticket, and join the other lucky £3.6m EuroMillions winners, and the 13 UK winners of a cool £1m each from the special EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker draw that night, which was held to celebrate the now-not-so-unlucky date of Friday 13.' The lucky ticket-holder now has until 10 December 2025 to claim their prize. Andy Carter, Senior Winners Advisor at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery said, 'It's time to search through handbags, purses, trouser pockets and the car – everywhere and anywhere – as a ticket is lurking which is worth £3.6M. Someone who bought a ticket in Fife is now a multi-millionaire and we are desperate to unite this lucky player with their winnings! 'Do you live or work in the area, do you have family and friends there who you were visiting or were you just passing through? Take a minute, find your ticket, and join the other lucky £3.6M EuroMillions winners, and the 13 UK winners of a cool £1M each from the special EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker draw that night, which was held to celebrate the now-not-so-unlucky date of Friday 13th!' In the draw on June 13 the EuroMillions jackpot was at its cap of €250m (approximately £208m). At cap, prize money which would have boosted the jackpot rolls down to the next prize tier with winners (usually five main numbers and one Lucky Star number) and increased its value. This created a total of five UK ticket-holders who won £3.6m for matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star number in the draw on June 13 including this yet-to-come-forward ticket-holder in Fife. That night also saw a special EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker draw – EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker guarantees to create a millionaire in every draw but the special draw to celebrate Friday 13th made 13 guaranteed EuroMillions UK millionaires. This meant that on the night of 13 June 2025 an incredible 18 UK ticketholders become millionaires. The search for the missing Fife ticketholder starts today (Friday) with players urged to check for the ticket. Anyone not in possession of their ticket, for whatever reason, but who believes they have a genuine claim can still make a claim in writing to Allwyn, but it must be within 30 days of the draw.2 If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.

Mystery National Lottery winner has just hours left to claim £1 million jackpot

A National Lottery ticket owner who won a mouth-watering £1million jackpot last December has not yet claimed it and the punter has now just two days left to come forward A punter has just two days left to claim £1million after winning the National Lottery but not yet coming forward for the prize. It would be enough to change your life, where you could maybe give up your job and buy your dream house but the winner has only until Wednesday to claim the mouth-watering sum. The draw was made on December 27, last year, and under the rules the person with the prize ticket has 180 days to claim it. The National Lottery website says that the punter took part in EuroMillions for the UK Millionaire Maker and they are believed to be from the Wiltshire area. ‌ ‌ The winning numbers are: XDQM36414. If the money goes unclaimed, the jackpot goes to the National Lottery Good Causes fund. Andy Carter, senior winners' advisor at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, said: 'We are rapidly approaching the deadline to claim this amazing EuroMillions prize, but we've not yet been contacted by the rightful ticketholder to claim their money, despite numerous appeals. 'There is still time though, but there are just days left for this ticketholder to get in touch. We've received valid claims on major National Lottery unclaimed prizes right up to the very last minute before. 'All that we ask is for all EuroMillions players in the area, and those who might have visited family and friends in Wiltshire over the festive season, to take some time out of their day to have a search and check their tickets. That five minutes out of your day could end up making you a millionaire.' Across the UK there are four other unclaimed £1m National Lottery prizes including two more Millionaire Maker prizes - one of which was bought in Liverpool and another in Birmingham. The second outstanding £1m prize was won with a ticket bought in Liverpool. This was another Millionaire Maker win from a EuroMillions draw on February 14. The deadline for claiming this is August 13. ‌ Another £1m prize was in a Lotto draw back on May 10. The ticket-holder matched five balls plus a bonus ball - the numbers were 3, 14, 15, 27, 33, 36 plus bonus 18. This player has until November 6 to come forward and claim their £1m prize. A fourth £1m prize lies unclaimed from a EuroMillions draw on May 23 with a ticket bought in the Stevenage District. The winning code was MDQK77569 and the ticket-holder has until November 19 to claim their cash. And finally, the last millionaire matched five balls plus a bonus ball in a Lotto draw on May 24. The ticket was bought in Birmingham and the winning numbers were 9, 12, 13, 26, 38, 40 with bonus 4. This player has until November 20 to claim their £1m prize. On Tuesday, June 17, one National Lottery player scooped a whopping £208m in a EuroMillions draw - which is the largest amount of money ever won in a lottery draw. The life-changing ticket was bought at a shop in County Cork, Ireland, and the winner has now come forward to claim their prize, according to National Lottery operator Allwyn. Before this £208m win, the former record for the largest UK Lottery win was an anonymous ticket-holder who scooped £195m in July 2022. A EuroMillions draw takes place every Tuesday and Friday, and a Lotto draw takes place every Wednesday and Saturday.

But the time is ticking with deadlines for when prizes can be claimed quickly approaching. Winning lottery ticket holders have 180 days from the draw date to retrieve their prize. If no claim is made within the deadline the money goes towards funding National Lottery Projects in the UK. Winning tickets often end up lost in coat pockets or in a mound of unopened emails. But with several major prizes still waiting to be claimed, check our map to see if you might be the lucky winner. How can you claim your winnings? Prizes under £500 can be claimed from any local National Lottery retailer, such as a newsagents, supermarket or petrol station. For prizes up to £50,000, winners need to head online or call the National Lottery on 0333 234 50 50 to claim their money. Damaged tickets should be reported to the National Lottery and an appeal should be filed within 30 of the draw date. More details can be found on the National Lottery website. How to bag the top prize Playing as part of a group could be a good way of boosting your chances of winning, Simon Horne, from The National Lottery operator Allwyn UK, explains. "If you join a syndicate of 10 people, then there's 10 tickets and 10 chances of winning, so there's clearly a greater chance of winning compared to if you just bought your own ticket," he said. The syndicate manager will need to register the group and list themselves as the person in charge with The National Lottery. Make sure to write all the terms and conditions of the agreement down, and get each person to sign it, said Simon. The big downside to consider being part of a syndicate is that you'll need to equally split the pot between each person. So, if you were part of a syndicate of four people, splitting the £208million jackpot four ways would leave you with £52million - although that's still big winnings to walk away with. Otherwise, you could keep an eye on how often your lucky numbers are being drawn, and if they're not coming up as often as you would like, you can try a different tact. The National Lottery app stores all your tickets from draws you have entered. The app is free to download from either the App Store on iPhone, or the Google Play store on Android devices. That means you can go back in and check your most profitable numbers. You could make a spreadsheet of how often your lucky numbers are being drawn, and every three months, see whether it's worth keeping them, or ditching them for alternatives. According to the unluckiest Euromillions numbers are 22, which has been drawn 65 times, followed by 40 (73 times) and 18. Timing matters when it comes to buying your ticket, said Simon. If you leave it to the last minute, then there's a risk that you run out of time to buy your ticket. You need to buy your ticket before 7:30pm on Friday - otherwise you'll miss out. "My main advice is not to leave it too late - don't rush into the newsagents or load up your app at 7:25pm," he said. "You might not be able to upload money onto your online account, or buy your ticket, in time and you could miss the draw."
