It's official! Trader Joe's is coming to Town Center
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – It's official! A second Trader Joe's grocery store is coming to Virginia Beach.
The company posted on its website that it is opening a store in Town Center, at 220 Constitution Drive. It's going in the former Bed, Bath & Beyond site, in Columbus Village. In January, Armada Hoffler confirmed it found tenants to fill the space, but wouldn't say who they were.
Then, in February, WAVY obtained a copy of an ABC liquor license application filed by Trader Joe's for this location.
There is no opening date yet for the new Virginia Beach location. Trader Joe's said it will continue to post updates on the new store at this link.

There is already a Trader Joe's location at 503 Hilltop Plaza off Laskin Road.
Trader Joe's has two other Hampton Roads locations: in Newport News, at 12551 Jefferson Ave. and in Williamsburg, at 5000 Settlers Market Blvd.
