A book I love is The Not-So-Uniform Life of Holly-Mei by Christina Matula, published by Ink Yard. It's really good, and I think other people should read it too.
I would give it four and a half stars.
The book is the first in a series that also includes The Not-So-Perfect Plan and The Not-So-Simple Question. In the first novel, a girl named Holly-Mei moves to Hong Kong all the way from Toronto, Canada. She cannot wait for a fresh start, but Holly-Mei's big mouth means she does not seem to get anything right.
If you like a story about friendship, laughs and food, pick this book up.
