Victoria Beckham's new skincare collab: ‘I became obsessed with this moisturiser'

Skincare-makeup hybrids are having a moment. And it's unsurprising really, given the serious money you can spend on luxury beauty products, that those who chose to spend big bucks want to invest in something that will really go the distance. Concealers are now not only being used to cover up but have skin-loving ingredients hidden within their lightweight yet heavy-duty formulas. Thick foundations that previously clogged pores, causing congestion and aggravating the skin, have been swapped out for tinted moisturisers which cast a natural luminous glow and work behind the scenes to keep your skin nourished all day long. • This article contains affiliate links that can earn us revenue Victoria Beckham, the former spice girl, matriarch of the Beckham brand and founder of Victoria Beckham Beauty, saw a gap in the market for skin-loving makeup products. She was first introduced to Augustinus Bader's cult-favourite moisturiser, The Rich Cream, by her facialist Melanie Grant and has been a loyal and vocal fan of the scientist-backed skincare line ever since. 'I became totally obsessed with this moisturiser,' Beckham says of The Rich Cream. 'So much so that I approached the professor to collaborate.' Their professional relationship started at Victoria Beckham's Autumn/Winter 2019 fashion show, where she collaborated with Bader to give her models 'radiant and glowing skin'. They instantly knew they were on to something. The skin of a supermodel? Now that's something people are willing to pay for. Augustinus Bader's proprietary ingredient that sets it apart from other leading skincare brands is a patented Trigger Factor Complex (TFC8, to those in the know), which comprises natural amino acids, high-grade vitamins, peptides and synthesised molecules naturally found in the skin. The technology is backed by over 30 years of research by Professor Bader, who previously used a similar formula to treat the skin of burn victims as an alternative to serious skin grafts. ' I knew I wanted to put that in a product that was also going to give you a glow and tighten your skin and lift,' Beckham says. While Beckham's first product in collaboration with Augustinus Bader was the Cell Rejuvenating Power Serum — a water-light oil packed with niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and vitamin E, and the precursor to the brand's latest Elixir serum — it's the skincare-makeup hybrids from this partnership that are truly worth shouting about. Imagine a concealer you need less of the more you use it. The longwear concealer pen is available in an impressive sixteen buildable shades which provide a light-to-medium coverage with a real skin, hydrating finish. The veil-like formulation has been created to conceal without creasing or settling into fine lines and can also be used to cover dark spots, blemishes and redness. In the background, the TFC8-powered product works to help improve your overall complexion thanks to the addition of hydrating squalane, powerful peptides and absorbable amino acids that help to strengthen the skin's natural barrier. 'It acts as a super-nutrient for your skin alongside smooth, brightening coverage that's not too oily or too drying,' Beckham says. 'My complexion secret is to begin with healthy, radiant skin, so I hardly need to cover up at all. Fresh skin first,' Beckham says. The Illuminator is her key to this filter-like finish on bare skin. The primer is available in three soft focus shades: Golden, for a universal warm bronze glow, Rose, with pretty pink undertones, and Pearlescent, a 'your skin but better' sheen. The illuminator can be used as the last step in your skincare or as the first step in your makeup routine — choose to wear it alone for a subtle tint or use it as a primer. Alongside TFC8, there's natural black tea ferment within the formula to help brighten and counteract dullness as well as ectoin, a molecule known to help support firmness and elasticity. Squalane and four different types of hyaluronic acid ensure skin is hydrated, while a luminescent plant extract helps blur the appearance of imperfections. While it's Beckham's first foray into the world of skincare, she believes she couldn't have picked a better partner to help execute her vision. 'I knew that if I wanted the best skincare, I had to collaborate with the best, ' she says. 'After all, how can you compete with someone that has been developing the perfect formula for 30 years?' Well, you know what they say: if you can't beat them, join them. Discover the full collection at

The Exact Beauty Products Dua Lipa Uses to Get Her Glow

While there are many celebrities whose make-up or haircare routine we'd like to emulate, there's only a handful of A-list women whose glowing, glassy skin regime we can truly covet. British Vogue's July cover star, Dua Lipa, is but one example. Not just the owner of some of the best eyebrows of the moment, the 'Levitating' singer has the kind of clear, luminous skin that most of us can only dream of. The Vogue editors have long obsessed over the wellness practices she swears by – specifically, her morning routine, which includes her must-try daily supplements – and we continued our due diligence to discover her other go-tos. It comes as no surprise that it features an extensive list of high-performance formulas, but we're also happy to reveal that, just like us, Dua relies on some tried-and-tested favourites like Caudalie's Beauty Elixir to keep her skin in tip-top condition. With a complexion like hers, it's little wonder the singer's skincare line-up includes products from pioneering German skincare brand, Augustinus Bader. Alongside The Rich Cream and The Rich Eye Cream, both of which are infused with the brand's signature TFC8 complex to support skin renewal, Lipa is also loyal to Bader's Eye Patches. Perfect for on-the-go brightening and tightening, the gel patches are generously sized and instantly cooling, making them perfect for stuffy (private) plane air. Now, for the lesser-known heroes. To remove make-up and rid her peerless skin of any pollution, Lipa is apparently a fan of Pai's Light Work Rosehip Cleansing Oil. The 90 per cent organic formula is lightweight in feel but robust at what it does, effectively removing make-up and SPF while leaving the skin soft and supple. And like every good beauty obsessive, wearing sunscreen is non-negotiable for Dua. Her product of choice? EltaMD's UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 which, as well as containing broad spectrum UV filters, is also enriched with high-dose niacinamide to reduce discolouration and tackle blemishes. Sarah Chapman 3D Moisture Infusion Mask $80 DERMSTORE Pai Light Work Rosehip Cleansing Oil $49 AMAZON The aforementioned Caudalie mist is essential for keeping her complexion hydrated and soothed throughout the day, and Lipa's night cream of choice is none other than Medik8's excellent Advanced Restore Night Cream. Powered with a potent antioxidant complex to repair oxidative stress, and a multi-ceramide complex to restore and strengthen the skin barrier, it's just the kind of thing to cosset and comfort skin that's been under heavy layers of make-up. If your skin is really feeling the dehydrating effects of sun exposure or simply the daily grind, make like Dua and pop on a Sarah Chapman Skinesis 3D Moisture Infusion Mask before your night cream. Each mask is heavily saturated in low-molecular hyaluronic acid, rose water and the brand's exclusive Pentavin hydration complex. And finally, to keep her famous lips as pillowy-soft as possible, she keeps handy a collection of conditioning concoctions that deliver on both hydration and glossy, gorgeous shine. Up first: the jelly-textured Kissu Lip Mask from Tatcha, a formula beloved by beauty editors for its smoothing soothing abilities. If your budget won't stretch, you'll be pleased to hear that Lipa is also a fan of Glossier's legendary Balm Dotcom, which marries scent and shine with a more affordable price tag. The last piece of the lip puzzle is, of course, YSL Beauty's Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick – a lipstick that, unsurprisingly, brand ambassador Lipa is loyal to. Its formula strikes just the right balance between the hydration of a balm and the glam of a gloss. In other words, perfect for a cover-ready pout. Now the brand has launched its first-ever sunscreen, and it's wowing shoppers with its clinical and consumer trials. Not just any SPF, The Sunscreen SPF50 helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and other visible signs of ageing, protect against premature ageing caused by sun damage, and improve skin luminosity too. And that's the shortlist. Joining the brand's bestselling skincare line, the Augustinus Bader The Sunscreen SPF50 uses the same Trigger Factor Complex TFC8® technology as their award-winning products, inspired by 30 years of research and innovation. The Trigger Factor Complex comprises natural amino acids, high-grade vitamins and synthesised molecules to create an optimal environment for cellular renewal. Think of it as sun care meets skincare. Not only does it help the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, redness and hyperpigmentation, but the lightweight, broad-spectrum sunscreen protects the skin in the long-term, too, protecting against UVA and UVB rays helping it become firmer, stronger, and more even over time. Despite just launching, the Augustins Bader The Sunscreen SPF50 has already racked up scores of glowing five-star reviews. 'This new product is so very good, not chalky, very moisturising and very very efficient' raved one impressed shopper. 'Trust AB to come up with yet another winner.' Another agreed, adding: 'The best sunscreen. It not only provides excellent protection, my skin feels nourished afterwards without feeling greasy. It has become part of my daily routine.' Helping to neutralises free radicals generated by UV rays through powerful antioxidant action and soothe irritation and redness caused by UV rays, the £105 Augustinus Bader The Sunscreen could be the best investment you make for your skin this summer.

16 Celebrities Fighting Wrinkles — And How They're Doing It

It's safe to say that most Hollywood A-listers will happily go under the knife to fend off signs of aging. From botox to face lifts, there are so many quick solutions for wrinkles — though they're often costly, painful and to some, morally compromising. However, many celebrities have found next-level skincare products from vegan serums to LED masks that will keep you looking younger for longer and fight wrinkles naturally with the power of good skincare. We tracked down what 16 celebs from Jen Aniston to Nicole Kidman are actually using for youthful skin, without cosmetic surgery. And we have some additional skincare tips at the end, too, that will help keep our skin healthy in all conditions. 1. Naomi Campbell: At 54, supermodel Naomi Campbell is simply ageless. And it's (at least partially) due to her skincare routine, which includes Augustinus Bader's The Rich Cream. According to InStyle, Campbell also uses other products from the brand, too, so she's definitely a fan. 2. Priyanka Chopra: Priyanka Chopra Jonas is naturally gorgeous. But her 111Skin Rose Gold Brightening Mask is definitely helping! It's a regular part of her skincare routine, which she has posted to Instagram on more than one occasion. 3. Jennifer Lopez: Even J.L0 is fighting wrinkles, and her skincare secret JLO Beauty Big Screen Broad Spectrum SPF Moisturizer. 'I've been wearing sunscreen everyday since I was in my very early 20s,' Lopez told Glamour. 'You should start at a very young age." 4. Julianne Moore: Of course 64-year-old actor Julianne Moore has a skincare regimen, which includes Revision Neck Firming Cream to help prevent the skin on her neck from sagging. "My skin-care routine has gotten more and more complicated as I get older,' she joked in an interview with Vogue. 5. Olivia Wilde: Olivia Wilde uses True Botanicals Vitamin C Booster a few times a week because it keeps her skin looking bright and fends off signs of aging. "Overall, my beauty approach is low key, but thoughtful," she explained during a 2017 interview with Into The Gloss. "I don't obsess over beauty but I try to be kind to my skin. I plan on using it for another 60 years or so." 6. Kim Kardashian: Yes, even celebrities like Kim Kardashian are fighting wrinkles. She frequently uses CurrentBody Skin's LED mask, which may boost collagen and keep the skin looking younger, longer. "You can find me right here... Face, neck and hand red lights for the win!" she posted to Instagram Stories in 2023, according to Marie Claire. "I'm obsessed with these — I gave them as gifts this year." 7. Sophia Bush: When Sophia Bush isn't busy acting or advocating for the environment, she's stocking up on skincare. Her secret is A313's Vitamin A Cream, which she buys in bulk whenever she's in France. Alexa Chung recommended it to her, The Sun reports, and it's been her go-to product ever since. 8. Jennifer Aniston: To maintain her forever-young look, Jennifer Aniston regularly uses Tatcha's Serum Stick. In fact, she carries it with her on The Morning Show set to keep her complexion looking glowy and dewy during filming. It also protects the from UV damage and wrinkles, so it's a total win. 9. Gwyneth Paltrow: Goop queen Gwyneth Paltrow is obviously loyal to her brand, but clearly, it's working for her. She particularly likes her All-In-One Face Cream because it keeps the skin hydrated, which in turn, fights wrinkles. "[It's] incredibly nourishing and it really boosts that youthful, dewy look,' she said in a walk-through of her skincare routine to CNN. 10. Brooke Shields: Step one in Brooke Shields' skincare routine is the True Botanicals Chebula Active Serum. In addition to being completely vegan, its anti-aging properties keep your skin free of fine lines and wrinkles. '[It's] the first product I apply to my skin," she told Prevention. 'It just really skins into my skin so well and chebula is a very, very powerful antioxidant for the skin.' 11. Nicole Kidman: Kim K isn't the only light therapy fan — Oscar-winning actor Nicole Kidman religiously uses a Solowave red light therapy wand before making red carpet appearances. It effectively erases fine lines, which is a total godsend when you're about to be professionally photographed. 12. Khloé Kardashian: Khloé is one of many celebs who swear by TruSkin Vitamin C Serum. She says it's 'a miracle,' because you 'can automatically see a difference' regarding wrinkle reduction and brightness. 'It eats off the top dead layer of your skin, [providing] an automatic refresh,' she raves. 13. Courteney Cox: Courteney Cox's says her beloved Dermalogica Retinol Serum "smooths out your skin texture." So if you, too, are noticing fine lines on your face, this could be the answer to all (or most) of your problems. 14. Reese Witherspoon: Elle Woods may legally object to wrinkles, but Reese Witherspoon is all too familiar. One staple in the actor's skincare routine is Elizabeth Arden Prevage Prevention Renewal Treatment because it keeps her skin looking young and fresh. 'As you get older and start seeing wrinkles and fine lines," she admitted, "it's so important to moisturize and use great products that really hydrate and take care of your skin." 15. Halle Berry: Actor Halle Berry attributes her perfect skin to Olga Lorencin Ageless Facial in a Box, which includes two moisturizing products that smooth out wrinkles. She also says eating healthy likely helps maintain her youthful complexion — so eat your vegetables! 16. Kelly Clarkson: Kelly Clarkson's skincare routine is minimal, but Tata Harper Restorative Eye Cream keeps the skin around her eyes looking perky and wrinkle-free. Celebrity makeup artist Ashley Donovan revealed she's used it on the talkshow host and singer leading up to major events like the Grammys. Even if you aren't a celebrity, when it comes to fighting off wrinkles with skincare, there are a few things you should know. 1. Staying moisturized is key to erasing wrinkles, because moisturizer keeps your skin hydrated and line-free. This is also the case for eye or neck creams, which target the skin in those areas, specifically. 2. Using SPF is also key to keeping your skin youthful, because it blocks UV rays which penetrate the skin. Skin that's overly exposed to the sun can look leathery and saggy, so it's important to start using sunscreen daily at a young age. 3. Light therapy has become increasingly popular, because it increases the elasticity in your skin. 4. Vitamin C boosts collagen production. This protects the skin from becoming damaged, while brightening and tightening it, too. 5. Products containing hyaluronic acid help reduce wrinkles, because it helps the skin retain moisture. Latifa Alshamsi shares her morning to evening beauty routine

Beauty by Sarah Joseph 2 hours ago My morning routine is all about prepping my skin for the day ahead. I start with a gentle cleanse, followed by a hydrating toner and an essence to boost moisture. I always use a high-performance serum, usually something from Augustinus Bader or EviDenS de Beauté, to support skin regeneration. A rich yet lightweight moisturiser follows, and I never skip SPF – it's the most important step to protect my skin. Since I prefer a minimal makeup look, I focus on having a well-hydrated and healthy complexion. How does your evening routine differ? My evening routine is more about repair and nourishment. I double cleanse to remove any traces of SPF and the day's impurities, then use a more potent treatment serum – sometimes a retinol or a peptide-rich formula. I also apply an eye cream and finish with a deeply hydrating night cream or an overnight mask for extra glow. What are your go-to skincare products? I'm very selective with my skincare and rarely switch products. Augustinus Bader's The Rich Cream is a staple for me – it delivers intense hydration and helps with skin renewal. I also love EviDenS de Beauté The Serum for its anti-ageing benefits. When I need an extra boost, I use La Prairie's Skin Caviar Luxe Cream for its lifting and firming properties. Are you a fan of masks? Absolutely. I love using hydrating and brightening masks a few times a week. EviDenS de Beauté's Special Mask is my go-to when my skin needs a glow boost, and I swear by Augustinus Bader's Face Mask for deep nourishment. How would you describe your approach to makeup? I believe less is more. My focus is always on good skin rather than heavy coverage. I prefer light, breathable foundations or tinted moisturisers that enhance my skin rather than mask it. A touch of concealer, some blush for a natural flush, and I like to focus on the eyes so my staple eyeliner look with black mascara. What can always be found in your makeup bag? A hydrating lip balm, a multi-use cream blush, and a tinted sunscreen – these are my essentials. I also keep a high-quality brow gel because well-groomed brows frame the face effortlessly. Which fragrances are your current favourites? Right now, I'm obsessed with Givenchy Garçon, which has this elegant yet unexpected warmth, and Byredo Animalique, a unique scent that feels both sophisticated and feminine. Talk us through your hair routine. I keep my hair routine simple but effective. Using a sulphate-free shampoo and a deeply nourishing mask instead of regular conditioner is important to me. I always wash my hair at a salon to make sure it's taken care of properly. What is the most unusual item in your makeup bag? Probably a gua sha tool. I love using it in the morning to reduce puffiness and boost circulation – it makes a huge difference in how my skin looks and feels. The Hero Buys
