Genpact issues clarification on 10-hour workday after backlash
Genpact has clarified it follows a nine-hour workday, not ten, amid backlash over reports of extended hours. Employees and HR experts criticised the move, which was communicated internally around 20 days ago. Uttarakhand: Dozens found alive in metal containers after India avalanche
Dozens of construction workers have been pulled out alive from metal containers after they were buried by a snow avalanche in Uttarakhand, survived as the containers, which the workers were living in, had enough oxygen to sustain them until rescuers could dig them out, Indian media reported quoting Friday, 54 workers were buried when the avalanche hit a construction camp near Mana village.
