The GB News presenter, 63, and partner Katie Alexander, 43, were hand in hand as they arrived an an engagement party for his co-presenter Nana Akua. Dressed in his traditional navy two-piece suit and crisp white shirt, Eamonn beamed as Katie linked arms. The presenter was requiring a stroller to hold on to as he pushed on with his walking aid. ‌ Katie, meanwhile, opted for a fitted chocolate brown bodycon dress. The event, held at Shoreditch's Blue Marlin Clubn saw the group celebrate the occasion with Nana and her fiance Stephen Gillen. Katie was thought to have stayed by Eamonn's side throughout the night in what is one of their first public outings together. Despite Eamonn needing the assistance, he looked to be in good spirits. The former This Morning host has long battled health issues after dislodging discs in his back. He previously said this impinged on his sciatic nerve and caused mobility of his right leg to be affected. He has continued to update followers about his condition, including going through spinal surgery. The presenter has also had a double hip replacement as he continues to struggle walking, often using a mobility year, Holmes and his wife Ruth Langsford announced their split, after tying the knot in 2010. He previously said his health issues had caused problems with his marriage. In 2022 he said: "Even my own family are bored of my moaning,' he said.
