The Undertaker Issues Warning To Trick Williams Ahead Of WWE NXT Appearance
The Undertaker wasn't happy with Trick Williams' behavior on WWE NXT. On WWE NXT, Trick Williams joined forces with his TNA Slammiversary opponents, Mike Santana and Joe Hendry, to face off against Dark State. However, the match ended in chaos when The System, along with Santana and Hendry, broke into a wild brawl. Following the match, TNA World Champion Trick Williams confronted The Undertaker's WWE LFG rookies backstage. All the rookies were excited after hearing their mentor would appear on the show next week. Williams yelled at them to move out of his way, bullied them, and then left. He didn't hold back he declared that when the 'TrickNA Champion' shows up, everyone should start walking. He got in Dark Morreaux's face, but Shiloh Hill calmed him down. As Williams walked away, he dismissed the rookies, saying they were wasting his time and questioning what The Undertaker saw in them. Moments after his disrespectful remarks, Hill's phone rang with 'The American Badass' theme. He picked up the call just as the camera cut away. After confronting and disrespecting The Undertaker's WWE LFG rookies, TNA World Champion Trick Williams received a message from The Deadman himself. The Undertaker took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and warned Trick to stay out of his yard. He made it clear he didn't appreciate the way Trick treated his team. He also confirmed he'll be on WWE NXT next week. He wrote, '. @_TrickWilliams , you disrespect my #WWELFG team…you disrespect me! I'll be in H-Town next week. With or without the TNA title…you might want to stay out my yard!' It will be interesting to see what drama unfolds next week as The Undertaker makes an appearance on WWE NXT. Trick Williams has a strong message for The Undertaker ahead of their confrontation on NXT. Tonight on NXT Television, WWE Hall of Famer, The Undertaker, is set to make his return to NXT. He also went on to say that on NXT, he might knock out the Deadman. 'You know the truth is, I ain't got no problem with The Undertaker. The Undertaker got a problem with me. It was his LFG boys sitting in the way after I had a match. So, I stood on business, and I told him to move. But, Undertaker, since you want to talk, let's talk then. Because you out here popping off like your knees ain't got no expiration date. Matter of fact, I'm glad you like to roll your eyes to the back of your head. Because I might just knock your ass out tomorrow. Come on, come on. Hey, you can keep tweeting if you want to. You can keep tweeting if you want to. Tomorrow might be your last ride. Let's talk about that,' Trick Williams said. Trick Williams is only worried about himself The TNA World Heavyweight Champion also claimed that he is not worried about fans or doubters. All he cares about is the championship gold that he is holding. 'To be real, Vic [Joseph], I ain't worried about no doubters, I ain't worried about no fans. I am worried about me. WWE Hall of Famer Kane Addresses Potential In-Ring Return
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. For decades, Glenn 'Kane' Jacobs dominated the WWE ring, but it has been years since "The Devil's Favorite Demon" has competed. In a recent interview, the WWE Hall of Famer addressed whether he has any plans for a final farewell match, suggesting that fans have likely seen the last of him in the ring. Appearing on Busted Open Radio, Jacobs was asked about a potential send-off. He acknowledged that the pace of modern wrestling may be too much for him at this stage of his life. "That May Have Left Me Behind" When asked about a final match, Kane was candid and realistic about his in-ring future. He laughed off the idea, stating that keeping up with today's superstars would be a major challenge. "[Laughs] I don't know about that, man. Oh man," Kane said (H/T to SEScoops). "Brother, we were just talking about athleticism and movement and keeping up with the pace of people nowadays. That may have left me behind, guys." Kane last appeared in the ring during the 2021 Men's Royal Rumble match. While some fans hope to see him return one last time, his comments suggest he is content with his career being over. WWE From Demon To Mayor A major reason for his absence is his successful career in politics. Since 2018, Glenn Jacobs has served as the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. His focus has shifted entirely from the squared circle to public service, making appearances on WWE programming a rarity. His full-time political career is a stark contrast to his on-screen persona. It's a testament to the intelligence and dedication of the man behind one of wrestling's most terrifying masks. A Legendary Career Of Destruction The Kane character is one of the most protected and iconic creations in WWE history. He debuted at the Badd Blood pay-per-view in 1997, ripping the door off the first-ever Hell in a Cell structure to confront his storyline brother, The Undertaker. For years, Kane was an unstoppable monster, defined by his mask, his control of fire, and his silent, destructive rage. Throughout his career, Kane became a WWE Grand Slam Champion, holding the WWE, World Heavyweight, ECW, Intercontinental, and Tag Team Championships. For over a decade, he held the record for the most eliminations in a single Royal Rumble match. While a final, story-driven send-off may not be in the cards, "The Big Red Machine's" legacy as one of WWE's greatest and most unique characters will last forever. Micah Parsons questions contract standoff with Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys star edge rusher Micah Parsons doesn't know why his contract extension is taking so long to negotiate, either. In an appearance on former WWE wrestler The Undertaker's podcast, Six Feet Under, Parsons said he didn't understand the reason for the delays in getting an extension done. The four-time Pro Bowler is set to enter his fifth season playing on the fifth-year option year of his original rookie contract, meaning he's been eligible to sign an extension since last offseason. "Obviously, ownership's always going to make it drag out, make it more complicated than it has to be, lack of communication, that standpoint," the two-time All-Pro said. NFL CONTRACT UPDATES: Latest news on Micah Parsons, Lamar Jackson, T.J. Watt extensions Parsons said that he and his team were rebuffed last year as they tried to get an extension done early. Instead, the Cowboys told them the focus was on reaching extensions with quarterback Dak Prescott and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. (Prescott and Lamb eventually signed respective four-year extensions within two weeks of each other prior to the start of the 2024 regular season.) Then as the post-2024 offseason began, the Cowboys continued to wait on reaching a deal with Parsons. Meanwhile, Maxx Crosby and the Las Vegas Raiders agreed to a huge extension. Then, Myles Garrett and the Cleveland Browns reached a megadeal of their own. "I will never understand it," Parsons said. "We wanted to do the contract last year – then you go out there and perform again. You would think, 'Alright, we'll get it done early, we know some guys are about to get re-paid.' There's Myles [Garrett], Maxx [Crosby] is going, so you would think, 'Hey, let's get ahead of that.' "You can't want us to take less (now) because you're the one that decided to wait." As other teams decide on similar situations with their star edge rushers – the Steelers with T.J. Watt; the Bengals with Trey Hendrickson – the Cowboys have a chance to get a deal done with Parsons before those players' deals further inflate the edge-rusher market. For now, all Parsons can do is wait for his big payday, whenever it comes and wherever it comes from. Jelly Roll sends Logan Paul through table in dramatic Jimmy Kimmel Live brawl
Jelly Roll sent Logan Paul crashing through a table during a chaotic episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! The 40-year-old singer - who is set to make his WWE wrestling debut in a tag team match at SummerSlam in August - was a special guest host for the late night talk show on Wednesday (16.07.25) with his tag partner Randy Orton also on the programme. Drew McIntyre, one of their opponents at the upcoming event over August 2 and 3, interrupted the interview, sparking a brawl between the two wrestlers which spilled backstage. Jelly attempted to bring things back on track, only for Logan Paul - Drew's tag partner for the match - to come out on stage and slap the host. The Save Me hitmaker ended up hitting the Chokeslam move made famous by the likes of The Undertaker, sending the controversial YouTuber through the desk. The exchange was part of the storyline building to the blockbuster SummerSlam match. Jelly has been working hard before his first ever wrestling match next month, losing almost 300lbs over the last couple of years after previously weighing over 500lbs. Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show this week, he said: "When me and Hunter [Triple H] started talking, the more I got involved with WWE over the last couple of years, every time I lose weight, they're like, 'Looking good'. "'Good enough for a match yet or do I need to lose another hundred?' 'A little more, brother.' [Laughs]. I just kept pushing for it. "I have been training. I have quietly been living in Orlando for three or four weeks at the PC [WWE Performance Center], showing up every day like a piece of furniture. "They can't keep me out of there. I'm there from the moment I wake up until it closes. I'm obsessed." Jelly explained that he's been working with retired WWE wrestler turned coach Matt Bloom, while some big names have been on hand to help. He added: 'I was training with Matt Bloom the other day, and Undertaker comes in with Michelle [McCool]. 'They just want to watch for a minute, is that cool?' 'For sure.' "This is who he is as a human. The entire three-hour session, him and his wife stood on those ropes and gave me pointer after pointer. "Kevin Owens, Jacob Fatu came in and wrestled with me the other day for three-four hours." He claimed the reason the WWE superstars and legends are so willing to help him is his clear passion and drive to make it work. He said: "These dudes are like pouring into me because they see that I'm trying to take it as serious as I can."
