Love Island's Helena Ford Looks Different In Photos From 10 Years Ago. So What?

With the return of Love Island for season 12, comes the annual targeting of the young women that we see on our screens. Whilst the boys get away with some seriously awful behaviour, the girls are getting picked apart online for no real reason. N.B. On that note, see our defence of Megan Forte Clarke who was widely criticised for merely standing up for herself. But of course, more than anything else, it's the appearances of the women that have become a major topic of discourse. Even in 2025, where plenty of women have undergone some sort of tweakment or plastic surgery, the topic is still incredible taboo. Helena Ford is the main target of this year's 'Before and after' image searches ©ITV When a TikTok led to the uncovering of older photos of Helena Ford, you can guess what happened next. Yep, 'Helena Ford before and after' became a trending search. The internet suddenly became desperate to see what the 29 year old flight attendant looked like back in the day. Never mind that Helena's style – bright red lipstick, cat eye eyeliner and pencil thin eyebrows – seemed to suggest that the photo was taken in the 2010s aka over ten, maybe even 15, years ago. Everyone started trying to guess the plastic surgery and tweakments that the Love Islander had undergone prior to her villa entrance. But really, who cares? Whilst we're loving the openness of stars like Kylie Jenner and Khloe Kardashian and their very public revelations of the work that they've had done, Helena doesn't owe us an explanation of why she looks different. What we owe Helena though is some respect. Comments expressing shock at the difference between Helena back then and Helena now are unnecessary. What we love to see are the comments calling Helena 'a stunner' and 'gorgeous'. She's beautiful in both pictures. The same goes for other female Love Island stars that have fallen victim to viewers and followers thinking that they're entitled to comment on their body. We've seen similar searches for Meg Moore and Shakira Kahn, and we're not here for it. And it's not just a UK problem because Vanna Einerson who appeared on the latest season of Love Island USA recently revealed on The Viall Files podcast that the critical comments about her appearance caused her to break down and cry. She shared, 'It was really, really hard seeing all of it. I was in the hotel with Coco [Watson] and she was getting a lot of love while I was getting a lot of hate. I had a moment where I just broke down crying. I'm honestly so grateful for Coco that she was there because she sat and prayed over me.' ‘Love Island USA': Would Jeremiah Ever Get Back Together With Huda?

Bad news to all the fans of Peacock's Love Island USA who were hoping for a sneaky Jeremiah return: He hasn't just left the villa, he has officially left Fiji. The silver lining? He's giving interviews. And in a recent podcast appearance, Jeremiah revealed whether or not he'd ever get back together with Huda after their dramatic Love Island USA run. 'Respectfully, no,' he told E! News when asked about a potential future with Huda outside the villa. 'She's awesome and I wish her the best, but respectfully, to for me in the friendship or past that. So no, I'm good.' Sorry, Huda, sounds like Jeremiah is pretty decided. But, really, do we think this will come as a shock? Jeremiah and Huda coupled up basically right away when they entered the villa—they had what Jeremiah described in an interview with The Viall Files with Nick Viall as 'crazy electricity'—and quickly became one of the most controversial couples of the season. Things got serious very quickly, but in the end, Huda's jealousy and Jeremiah's reluctance to commit proved to be a pretty terrible combo. A tense breakup killed the good vibes in the villa, and eventually the boys decided to send Jeremiah home after a fan vote landed him on the chopping block. Reflecting on their whirlwind, drama-filled romance, Jeremiah told Nick Viall that he and Huda 'got really intimate really soon,' which he now thinks 'set us up for failure.' He went onto explain that their relationship was actually 'amazing until the pancake day' (when Huda got upset because Jeremiah didn't help her make pancakes after he delivered her breakfast severely undercooked). Looking back, he takes responsibility for trying to meet her expectations in the relationship, even though he was still exploring the connection and not ready to commit. 'I tried to be Superman instead of letting her know, like, that's not who I am. That takes me months to get there,' he said. Jeremiah refused to talk bad about Huda, but he did suggest that she got a fair edit, adding, 'There were a lot of instances where we were just talking and she would, you know, crash out,' he explained. 'It was pretty accurate.' Though he hasn't watched the season closely, he has caught up on key moments, and he wasn't always happy with what he saw. 'There's some moments I'm watching myself, and I'm just like, 'Bro, get up, like, don't take that.''

Tyler Cameron speaks out about Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell's breakup; says, "They had to do it"

Tyler Cameron is providing some commentary on the news-making breakup of his good friend, Matt James, and his ex-girlfriend Rachael Kirkconnell. On The Viall Files podcast, appearing on June 18, host Nick Viall questioned Cameron about how the ex-Bachelor has been since the very public breakup. "He's good, he's good," reassured Cameron, 32, keeping his tone light and upbeat. Matt James, 33, had ignited a whirlwind of chatter in January when he publicly broke up with Kirkconnell, 28, in an Instagram post. The breakup announcement went viral — and made waves — shortly after Kirkconnell shared on a Call Her Daddy podcast appearance that she had been "blindsided" by the way James broke up with her. Viall, who is 44, told on his podcast that he then reached out to James after that, wanting to hear his side of the story, but never heard back. Cameron replied to that by insinuating that James is consciously choosing to remain silent. "I think for him the best thing to do is like let it die, and be done with it, you know," he said. Cameron's girlfriend, Tate Madden, who was also on the podcast episode, chimed in with her own opinion, saying, "I think he knows and probably regrets… Decisions were made." Without going too far into the details, Cameron appeared to be in favor of the breakdown being needed for both of them. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Memperdagangkan CFD Emas dengan salah satu spread terendah? "Both of them needed to be broken up and they needed to move on and they needed to make it work at the end of the day. Whereas Matt James has not made additional public statement since announcing his breakup, it is evident from Cameron's words that the ex-Bachelor lead is moving on in peace — even if the rest of the world is curious about things. As the dust begins to settle, it appears James and Kirkconnell are both on personal paths of healing and self-discovery, and their friends have their backs as they move forward without the relationship.

Sherri Papini Says Her 'Poor Mother' Was Taken 'Wildly Out of Context' in Doc: 'She Knows I Was Kidnapped'

In HBO's 'The Curious Case of Sherri Papini,' her mother Loretta Graeff is heard saying "It was not an abduction" Papini claimed during a new episode of 'The Viall Files' podcast that the quote was edited out of context and didn't reflect her mother's true beliefs She said her mother "definitely knows" she was kidnapped, despite Papini's 2022 guilty pleaSherri Papini — the California mom who admitted to faking her 2016 kidnapping — is pushing back on how her mother was portrayed in a new docuseries, claiming a quote that made headlines was taken "wildly out of context." In The Curious Case of Sherri Papini, Papini's mother Loretta Graeff is shown saying: 'It was not an abduction.' The quote appears to show Graeff doubting her daughter's version of events — a sentiment echoed by law enforcement and federal prosecutors, who ultimately revealed that Papini had orchestrated the entire disappearance herself. But now, Papini says the scene doesn't tell the whole story. 'My poor mother… when you don't have control over your own audio and it gets cut and clipped… it can be taken wildly out of context,' Papini, 42, said during a new episode of The Viall Files podcast. Pressed on whether her mother had changed her mind after initially expressing skepticism, Papini replied: 'Oh, no. My mom definitely knows that I was held captive and that I was kidnapped.' She added that while things were 'very confusing in the beginning,' her mother came to understand what 'actually happened' — and that the quote used in the documentary omitted that supposed clarification. The docuseries recounts the story that once gripped the nation: Papini disappeared while jogging near her Redding, Calif., home in November 2016. She resurfaced 22 days later on Thanksgiving morning, battered and shackled, claiming she had been abducted at gunpoint by two masked Hispanic women. That story unraveled in 2022 when federal investigators revealed Papini had been hiding out with a former boyfriend. She was charged with mail fraud and making false statements, later pleading guilty in a plea deal that sent her to prison for 18 months. She was released in 2023 to community confinement and remains under supervised release. In recent interviews — including the HBO project and her podcast appearance — Papini has positioned herself less as a manipulative hoaxster and more as a woman misrepresented by a hostile media, overzealous prosecutors and edited footage. The 42-year-old divorced mother-of-two says that her kidnapping wasn't a hoax, and that she only lied about the identity of her purported captor: her ex-boyfriend. She said she feared for her safety, and that her ex-husband Keith Papini would revoke her access to their children if she told the whole truth. (Papini's ex-boyfriend, James Reyes, has never been charged with a crime. He declined PEOPLE's request for comment in May, around when the documentary began airing.) Her alleged capture was preceded by a months-long emotional affair with James, she said, and she felt partially responsible for her circumstances after "leading him on," she said in the documentary. "I agreed with James to make up that someone else did it [in exchange for my release]," Papini claims. "It wasn't the right choice and I know that... I wish I would've told the truth from the day I was in the hospital — that it was James." Sign up for for breaking crime news, ongoing trial coverage and details of intriguing unsolved cases. She calls the HBO project a 'trial by media,' noting that she never faced a criminal trial, and describes herself as living under a 'life sentence' of judgment. She also alleges that key evidence — such as interrogation audio in which, she claims, law enforcement guided her ex-boyfriend's responses — was left out of the final cut. Papini says she hopes her mother will publicly clarify her purported position if given the chance. 'I think given the opportunity, sure,' she said. But for many, the words spoken on-camera in the HBO series stand in sharp contrast to Papini's revised narrative. Read the original article on People
