Hemsworth was working hard to bulk up and prepare for the challenging role, even saying he had to get bigger than he ever did for Thor. He was ready to dye his hair and moustache blond and was excited about capturing Hulk Hogan's voice, style, and attitude. The movie was first announced in 2019, and things seemed promising. The script was written by Scott Silver, who had also written for Joker and The Wolf of Wall Street. Hogan himself loved the script and called it the best he had ever read. In fact, there were even talks that the film could win Chris Hemsworth an Oscar because it was such a powerful and emotional story. It was going to have a dark and dramatic tone, like Todd Phillips' other movies. Hogan believed that if the film had been made, it could've been a major success and possibly even won awards. His influence helped make wrestling a global business and inspired future stars like Dwayne Johnson and John Cena to enter Hollywood. However, Hulk Hogan passed away on July 24 at the age of 71. He died from a cardiac arrest at his home in Florida. His death was a big loss not just for wrestling fans but for people all over the world who grew up watching him.

Jho Low, the playboy Malaysian financier who was central to the multi-billion dollar 1MDB corruption scandal, has reportedly been located and his new identity discovered. Low was the mastermind behind the embezzlement of at least $4.5 billion from the 1MDB Malaysian development fund, much of which was used to buy luxury real estate across the U.S., plus art, a private jet and a superyacht. But he also managed to use the finances to ingratiate himself into Hollywood circles, most notably becoming close with Leonardo DiCaprio — who would star in 2013 hit 'The Wolf of Wall Street,' which, in 2016, the Department of Justice alleged had been financed using stolen Malaysian money. DiCaprio thanked Low in his Golden Globes acceptance speech in 2014. Announced during a live stream on Friday entitled 'Finding Jho Low,' Hope and Wright asserted — using evidence provided by various sources and newly-uncovered documents — that Low was living in a mansion in Green Hills, an 'ultra high-end neighbourhood in Shanghai.' They also added that Low was using a 'fake Australian passport' using the Greek name Constantinos Achilles Veis, which he was using to 'move around China and hide his identity.' Finally, on the live stream they claimed that Low was now working as a 'behind-the-scenes strategist for the Chinese government,' where his tasks include 'helping sanctioned Chinese companies navigate difficulties around the world.' Huge Leonardo DiCaprio blockbuster now streaming on iPlayer
The Wolf of Wall Street, one of Leonardo DiCaprio's most beloved films, is now available to stream on iPlayer. The 2013 film is a biographical black comedy crime film based on Jordan Belfort's 2007 memoir about his time as a stockbroker in New York City. Directed by Martin Scorsese, the film stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Jordan Belfort, a real-life figure who was imprisoned for fraud and related crimes in connection with stock-market manipulation through his company Stratton Oakmont. The film has a stellar cast with Margot Robbie, Jonah Hill, Matthew McConaughey, and Kyle Chandler all playing major roles. In fact, for Margot, this was a huge breakout role for her, having only appeared in films such as About Time and I.C.U in minor roles. Now, over a decade after the film was released, UK fans can stream the film on iPlayer. With a 79% on Rotten Tomatoes, the movie was praised when it was released and has remained a huge hit in the 12 years since its debut. Reviews have praised the acting performances and the storytelling of Scorsese. The film was a smash after being made for a budget of $100 million (£74.4m) and making $407m (£302.6m) at the box office.
