'And Just Like That...' EP Seemingly Assures Fans Harry Won't Be Killed Off After Surprising Cancer Reveal in Season 3
The recent episode of And Just Like That... showed Charlotte (Kristin Davis) find out that her husband Harry (Evan Handler) was diagnosed with cancer The show's executive producer told TheWrap that viewers will see a different side of Charlotte this season, but hinted that Harry was not being killed off Davis added that the storyline "is true to life" and will highlight the importance of a caretaker's health as wellAnd Just Like That.. Charlotte and Harry's love story has entered a particularly challenging chapter in season 3 of And Just Like That... In the June 26 episode of the Sex and the City spinoff, Harry (Evan Handler) revealed to his wife Charlotte (Kristin Davis) that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. While he noted that his form of the disease has a 98% survival rate, he asked that Charlotte keep the news private, but the anxiety proved to be difficult for her to cope with. 'People get all kinds of unexpected health news. This is true to life,' Davis, 60, told TheWrap. 'She holds Harry in such a sacred place, and this family that she's created, it would be very scary for her to feel like she might lose that.' King further explained that the plotline is meant to show a different side to Charlotte, who has always prided herself on having everything under control. 'Charlotte has been the grounded support for everyone for the last two years, so we knew from the writing point of view it was time for her to need support,' he said. Still, he hinted that the Goldenblatt family will be okay. 'Do you think I'm going to kill Harry?' he quipped. In another interview with Variety, Davis confessed that she 'was relieved' when she found out this was what Charlotte and Harry would be going through in their marriage because it was something she knew they could overcome. 'I knew something would happen, right? We couldn't just go on, if you know what I mean,' she joked. 'It could have been worse — at least I didn't have to cheat on him or something like that, right? That would be so out of character; it would make no sense. I knew Michael wouldn't do that, but I was like, 'Oh, God, cancer.' Which is how Charlotte feels, and, of course, how everyone would feel.' 'But the thing that I love, that you'll see in the second half, is that it has a really great way that it goes — in terms of Charlotte having to keep the secret that Harry wants her to keep, and the toll that it takes on her,' the actress continued. 'She's trying to take care of him, and then she's trying to fulfill his wishes about who she tells or doesn't tell. So she really doesn't have her friends, and she ends up not taking care of herself.' She pointed out that this is an important topic for AJLT to approach, especially with it being so common for caretakers to forget the importance of their own well-being. 'It has a comedic element to it, which was really fun and scary to do, but it's just really true to life,' she shared. 'It seems like a perfect storyline for Charlotte that she would, of course, forget to take care of herself, and then have her own health issue because she forgot to take care of herself. 'We want to thank Nickelodeon for giving Chef two blamazing seasons and all the besties he made there,' the post was captioned. 'Chef wouldn't want anyone to blame his friends over there, he's just deeply sad he doesn't get to continue hosting a show he adores. 'Please let Cheffy know how much he means to you in the comments - he's really feelin' this one.' The cancellation announcement struck a chord with social media users, with many expressing their outrage at Nick's decision. JD Vance Flips the Bird at Trump Critics During GOP Dinner Party: ‘That Means We're No. 1, Right?'
In an effort to make a joke about anti-Trumpers, Vice President JD Vance decided to flip the bird at attendees during the Ohio Republican dinner party on Tuesday. The moment happened while Vance was delivering a keynote speech, during which he started discussing the challenges that come with being a political figure, as well as the slew of 'pink-haired' critics he claimed have approached and/or confronted him since his time in office. 'I know it's not easy to be a political candidate, trust me. In Washington, D.C. they have this thing where— I think it means 'we're No. 1' in Washington, D.C., but all the pink-haired people throw up this sign,' Vance said. He then lifted his hand to flip the bird to the listening audience. Keeping his middle finger in the air, he continued on, joking that the one finger up must mean naysayers are labeling the Trump administration as No. 1. 'That means we're No. 1, right? I choose to take that as that symbol in Washington,' Vance said in jest. LMAO! JD Vance throws up the MIDDLE FINGER live on TV"In D.C., they have this thing where – I think it means we're number one – all the pink-haired people throw up this sign… *throws up middle finger*" — Eric Daugherty (@EricLDaugh) June 25, 2025 Vance's crude behavior happened the same day Trump went viral for dropping the F-bomb while criticizing both Israel and Iran for their cease-fire deal. President Trump on Israel and Iran: "We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don't know what the fuck they're doing." — CSPAN (@cspan) June 24, 2025 'We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don't know what the f—k they're doing,' Trump told media on Tuesday. As TheWrap previously reported, after speaking to reporters, the president told Israel on his Truth Social platform it would be a 'MAJOR VIOLATION' if it bombed Iran. He then called on Israel to 'BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW!' About 40 minutes later, the president was seemingly in a much better mood, posting that Israel would not attack Iran. 'All planes will turn around and head home, while doing a friendly 'Plane Wave' to Iran. Nobody will be hurt, the cease-fire is in effect! Thank you for your attention to this matter!' Seth Meyers Mocks Fox News Host for Bringing Up Trump's 34 Felonies to Suggest Nobel Peace Prize
Donald Trump and his supporters started a new push this week to get the president a Nobel peace prize, following his military strike in Iran, which he authorized without approval. But, in floating the idea on Fox News, one of the president's former press secretaries voluntarily mentioned his 34 felonies — a move Seth Meyers was tickled by. During his 'A Closer Look' segment on Tuesday night, Meyers first scoffed at the idea of Trump getting a Nobel peace prize for an Israel-Iran ceasefire that he originally announced before it was even real. More than that, Trump called the ceasefire a move that would 'end what should be called the 12 day war.' 'So Trump claimed there was a ceasefire in the war he started. Now, most normal human beings might think to themselves, 'You don't get credit for cleaning up your own mess unless you're under the age of five,'' Meyers said. 'But for Trump supporters, this supposed ceasefire was the single greatest achievement of any president ever.' At that, a clip of Kayleigh McEnany, one of Trump's former press secretaries, now a host on Fox News began, in which she indeed hailed the president once more, calling for the award. 'Rather than 34 felony counts, President Trump may end up with 34 Nobel Peace Prizes,' she said. 'That was for the leftists, you can clip this, and make it go viral and go nuts.' 'Well, joke's on you. We're on at one in the morning, which is the opposite of viral,' Meyers retorted. 'That clip is going to go bacterial.' But, the 'Late Night' host was more focused on the fact that, in order to even make that claim, McEnany had to draw attention to something Trump and his allies regularly dismiss and ignore. 'The funniest part of that clip is that in order to say the thing about the 34 Nobels, she had to remind everyone of Trump's 34 felony counts. That's not a good idea,' he said. 'Also, a Nobel doesn't erase a felony count. When Obama won his in 2009, he didn't say, 'Oh, the best part is, now I can knock over a liquor store!'' You can watch Seth Meyers's full 'A Closer Look' segment in the video above. 'The Pitt' season 2: Sepideh Moafi joins the cast adding a fresh dynamic to the series
Sepideh Moafi is all set to thrill her fans with latest project. The star of The Black Bird and Class of '09 has officially joined season 2 of Max's intense medical drama The Pitt. According to TheWrap reports. At the Pittsbugh Trauma medical hospital, also known as The Pitt, the 39 year old will play the character of an attending physician working in emergency medicine. Sepideh Moafi's role is to bring fresh dynamics to the high-stress environment of the ER. Even though the backstory details of her are still unclear and enigmatic, and it's mysterious whether she has been part of the hospital throughout, staying out of the limelight in season 1, or if she is a new arrival following the dramatic episodes of the season 1 finale. Regardless, her arrival definitely will bring change to the already intense emergency room, just as the story picks up during the busy Fourth of July weekend in Season 2. What The Pitt is all about? The Pitt has achieved attention in its very first season itself because of the portrayal of the real-time teaching and life in a teaching hospital's emergency room(ER). In every 15 episodes they covered just one dedicated one hour of a long and intense shift, holding the action almost thoroughly within the trauma centre. For most of the characters the whole season unravels over their first day on the new job and pushes them into a whirlwind of trauma, personal growth and heartbreak. This is created by ER veteran R. Scott Gemmill and executive produced by Noah Wyle and John Wells, and the series The Pitt has been compared to the classic medical dramas but carries new wave and modern perspective. Wyle also comes into view in the show as Dr. Michael 'Robby' Robinavitch, who is the experienced physician guiding the department. Joining Sepideh Moafi in Season 2 are new cast members Charles Baker, Irene Choi, Laëtitia Hollard, and Lucas.
