My Chemical Romance is coming to Bangkok in 2026: dates, ticket prices, setlist, seating map and everything you need to know
Killjoys, we've got massive news – My Chemical Romance is coming to Bangkok next summer. It's been over two decades since My Chemical Romance first stitched eyeliner into the cultural fabric, and now, after years of rumour, rupture and reunion, the band is finally coming to Bangkok. Yes, really. The Long Live the Black Parade tour will land in Thailand in 2026 – marking not only the band's long-awaited Southeast Asian debut, but their return to the stage following a post-pandemic resurgence that's been nostalgic. For those who spent their adolescence tucked inside a hoodie, humming 'Helena' under their breath, this is more than a concert. It's collective catharsis. Formed in 2001 by Gerard Way with brother Mikey, Ray Toro and Frank Iero, My Chemical Romance rose from post-9/11 disillusionment with a sound that flitted between theatrical and feral. Their second album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge launched them into the mainstream, but it was The Black Parade – a grand, gothic opera of grief – that etched their name into eyeliner-stained lore. After disbanding in 2013 with a cryptic farewell, the band returned in 2019 for a sold-out reunion in Los Angeles, then took that dark magic global – London, Tokyo, Mexico City. Now, Bangkok joins the map. Here's everything you need to know if you want to get your hands on tickets. When are My Chemical Romance playing in Bangkok? The band will be at IMPACT Challenger Hall on Wednesday, April 22 2026. My Chemical Romance to return to Korea for the first time in 18 years
American rock band to perform at Paradise City Culture Park in Incheon on April 18, 2026 Emo rock legends My Chemical Romance are finally making their long-awaited return to South Korea, nearly two decades after their first and only performance in the country. The band is set to hold a one-night-only concert on April 18, 2026, at Culture Park in Paradise City, Incheon. This marks the band's first concert in Korea since the show in 2008. The upcoming concert is part of the band's new world tour "Long Live The Black Parade," which kicks off in the US on Friday. The band will visit 27 cities in North and South America and Asia, and is likely to add more stops. Formed in 2001, My Chemical Romance — consisting of Gerard Way, Mikey Way, Ray Toro and Frank Iero — has released four studio albums so far. The band's second studio album in 2004, "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge," and 2006's "The Black Parade" shaped the emo genre and brought it into the mainstream. "Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys," released in 2010, captured listeners with its bold, dystopian concept. The band earned both critical and popular acclaim through numerous hit songs like "Welcome to the Black Parade," "Helena," "Teenagers" and "Famous Last Words," solidifying its place as one of the defining acts of 2000s alternative rock. After disbanding in 2013, the group reunited in 2019 and has since experienced a powerful resurgence. Prior to the upcoming world tour, the band had successfully wrapped up its 2022 European tour, celebrating their full return. Tickets for the band's Korea concert will be available via the pop music platform Ualive and ticketing site Ticketlink. Pre-sale for Ualive users begins at noon on Friday, while general ticketing opens at noon on July 14.

My Chemical Romance confirms major Asia tour in 2026
Welcome (back) to the Black Parade, because the legendary American rock band My Chemical Romance is coming to Asia in 2026. On this tour, My Chemical Romance will be performing in six cities across Asia: Incheon (South Korea), Bangkok (Thailand), Bulacan (Philippines), Singapore, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), and Jakarta (Indonesia). It's particularly sweet news for Southeast Asian fans, who haven't had the band play on their shores in close to two decades. The last time My Chemical Romance performed in this part of the world was in 2023 in Tokyo, Japan. Tickets to the Singapore show will go live on Friday (July 11) at 10am local time here. Stick around for ticketing details for My Chemical Romance's other stops. My Chemical Romance formed in 2001 with members Gerard Way, Mikey Way, Ray Toro, and Frank Iero, achieving breakthrough success with their second album, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge (2004). But it was their third album The Black Parade (2006) that cemented the band's legendary status, topping the Billboard U.S. Top Rock Albums and U.S. Top Tastemaker Albums charts. The band has had its ups-and-downs – breaking up in 2013 to reunite in 2019, and losing their former and longest-tenured drummer Bob Bryer, who was found dead in his home in 2024. They've since released new material: "The Foundations of Decay" in 2022, their first single since 2014, and a deluxe edition of their Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge album in 2025. They'll soon commence their North American tour in Seattle, WA on July 11.
