New Finale Scene To Debut at ‘it's a small world' in Disneyland and Disney World
A beloved classic is receiving a heartfelt new enhancement. Disney Parks has officially announced the addition of a brand-new finale scene to the iconic 'it's a small world' attraction at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. The new finale will feature the timeless lyrics of the attraction's signature Sherman Brothers song, presented in multiple languages. For the first time, guests will see the words 'It's a small world after all' displayed in English, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, and Portuguese as part of a vibrant new display in the attraction's closing scene. Here are the lyrics: Mother earth unites us in heart and mind And the love we give makes us humankind Through our vast wondrous land When we stand hand in hand It's a small world after all. This thoughtful enhancement celebrates the message of unity, peace, and global harmony that 'it's a small world' has shared with millions of guests since its debut at the 1964–65 New York World's Fair. The new visuals aim to further connect guests from all around the world, offering a shared reminder of the song's enduring theme—that we're more alike than different. The updated finale will debut at Magic Kingdom and Disneyland on July 17. Clint Gamache is the owner of ThrillGeek. Disney's Animal Kingdom to Permanently Close The Boneyard Play Area
Big changes are on the horizon for Disney's Animal Kingdom as The Boneyard, the beloved dinosaur-themed play area in DinoLand U.S.A., is officially set to close. Disney has announced that this family-friendly attraction will welcome its final guests on July 1, 2025. A longtime favorite among younger visitors, The Boneyard offered a shaded, interactive space where kids could climb, slide, and dig for 'fossils' in a play excavation site. Designed to resemble a working paleontological dig, the area was both entertaining and educational, allowing children to explore in a hands-on environment while parents took a break in the surrounding shaded seating areas. The closure of The Boneyard marks another significant step in the evolution of DinoLand U.S.A., which is expected to undergo a major transformation in the coming years. During the 2023 Destination D23 event, Disney teased potential plans to reimagine the land with new experiences inspired by Encanto and Indiana Jones. While official details have not yet been confirmed, fans are eagerly speculating about what's next for this corner of the park. Guests hoping to experience The Boneyard one last time still have a few weeks to do so before its July 1 closure. As always, Disney encourages visitors to check the official Walt Disney World website or app for the most up-to-date information. Stay tuned for further announcements about what's coming next to Disney's Animal Kingdom Clint Gamache is the owner of ThrillGeek. ‘Five Nights at Freddy's Coming To Halloween Horror Nights 2025
In a rather interesting announcement on a Sunday evening, both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood announced that the 'Five Nights at Freddy's' franchise is coming to Halloween Horror Nights. Here is where things get interesting with this announcement. This, first off, was an announcement on a Sunday night, not the usual timeframe for a house or a scarezone announcement. Second, the wording of the announcement has some rather interesting verbiage. Here is the announcement that was posted to the official HHN Hollywood and Orlando social media accounts: Five Nights at Freddy's is coming in a whole new way to this year's Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights in both Hollywood and Orlando. More details coming soon. The words 'whole new way' are what's throwing off a lot of people. If it's not a house or a scarezone, what could it be? A dining experienece? Some sort of VR experience? Maybe an escape room of some sort? We will have to wait and see for more details.
