WWE Confirms Stipulation For Survivor Series 2025
WWE Survivor Series will once again feature a 'War.' On Monday, WWE announced ticketing details for the 2025 Survivor Series Premium Live Event. This year's Survivor Series will take place at Petco Park in San Diego. The announcement also confirmed that the WarGames stipulation will also return for the event. Advertisement Earlier this year, WWE announced San Diego would host this year's Survivor Series, but the logos and branding omitted the WarGames stipulation. With the ticketing announcement, WWE also updated the event logo, and the Padres' website also reflects that change. The 2025 event will mark the fourth consecutive year that Survivor Series will feature both men's and women's WarGames matches. Adam Sandler's surprise tour announcement leaves fans stunned: Check full list and how you can get tickets
American actor and comedian Adam Sandler is hitting the road again. Sandler, whose "Happy Gilmore" sequel debuts on Netflix in July, is hitting the road this fall on a 30-city concert tour, including an Oct. 5 show at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee. Sandler's "You're My Best Friend" tour starts Sept. 5 in Jacksonville, Florida, according to multiple media reports. According to Variety, the North American jaunt will see Sandler hit more than 30 major cities across the US and Canada, starting with Jacksonville, FL on Sept. 5, and including stops in Miami, Philadelphia, Buffalo, Boston, Cleveland, Ontario, Salt Lake City, Chicago and more. The tour concludes in Las Vegas, NV on Nov. 1. Adam Sandler is bringing his 'You're My Best Friend' tour to Pittsburgh this fall. Sandler will perform at PPG Paints Arena on Saturday, Sept 20. The boy is (still) theirs: Brandy and Monica reunite for The Boy is Mine Tour
After their 1998 megahit "The Boy is Mine," Brandy and Monica will embark on their first-ever joint tour. Brandy and Monica haven't had enough, and they're headed to a city near you. The R&B powerhouses are set to hit the road on The Boy is Mine Tour, pegged to their 1998 megahit of the same name. The record, which spent 13 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, became one of the defining music moments of the '90s. The Grammy Award-winning duo would go on to release platinum-selling records and inspire a new generation of artists, including Ariana Grande, whose own "The Boy is Mine" record featured a remix with the pair in 2024. Now embarking on their first coheadlining tour, Brandy and Monica will be joined by singers Kelly Rowland, Muni Long and 2025 "American Idol" winner Jamal Roberts. The 24-city The Boy is Mine Tour will kick off in Cincinnati this October and wrap up in Houston in December. Here's what to know about the tour. The R&B superstars announced their co-headlining The Boy Is Mine Tour on Tuesday, which is set to hit 24 cities this fall. The tour kicks off Oct. 16 in Cincinnati and wraps Dec. 7 in Houston. Kelly Rowland, Muni Long and season 23 "American Idol" winner Jamal Roberts will be joining them on tour. "This really is a full-circle moment," Brandy said in a statement. "Monica and I coming together again isn't just about the music -- it's about honoring where we came from and how far we've both come. 'The Boy Is Mine' was a defining chapter in R&B, and to share the stage all these years later is bigger than a reunion -- it's a celebration of growth, sisterhood, and the love our fans have given us from day one." Luis Valdez to appear at El Paso's Plaza Classic Film Festival with 2 film screenings
Legendary writer and director Luis Valdez is the first guest announced for the 2025 Plaza Classic Film Festival. This will be the 18th year for the El Paso Community Foundation's film series, which will run from July 17-27 in and around the Plaza Theatre. Valdez will appear for on-stage interviews before two of his classic movies — 1987's "La Bamba", about Mexican American rocker Ritchie Valens, at 7 p.m. Friday, July 18, and "Zoot Suit" (1981), considered the first major Chicano feature film, at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 19. Both events will take place at the Plaza Theatre. Tickets for each program will be $10 and will go on sale with the rest of the Plaza Classic Film Festival schedule, starting Tuesday, June 10, at the Plaza Theatre box office (no service fees) and (with service fees). Valdez is one of the most important American playwrights and filmmakers living today. He has been successful in theater, television and film. He wrote "Zoot Suit," which explored Los Angeles' racially motivated Sleepy Lagoon murder trial of 1942 and 'Zoot Suit Riots' of 1943, debuted in Los Angeles in 1978 and became the first Chicano play on Broadway a year later. La Bamba was written for the screen and starred Lou Diamond Phillips. Both films are preserved in the National Film Registry. Valdez founded the Obie Award-winning theater company El Teatro Campesino in 1965 in California's Central Valley, joining César Chávez in his United Farm Workers' rights movement. It is the longest-running Chicano theater in the United States, according to a news release. The prolific 84-year-old debuted his latest play, "Adiós Mamá Carlota," on May 10 at El Teatro Campesino Playhouse. Valdez's honors include the Presidential Medal of Arts, Mexico's Aguila Azteca Award, and the Peabody Award for his 1987 PBS documentary, Corridos: Tales of Passion and Revolution. The 18th Annual Plaza Classic Film Festival will take place from July 17 to 27. This year's Plaza Classic Film Festival will feature 100 movies over 11 days, including "Cabaret," "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade", "The Godfather Part II", "Notting Hill", "Saving Private Ryan", "Toy Story", "Schindler's List", "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back", and many more. Festival passes are on sale for $200 now and include access to almost all ticketed festival movies, reservations for Philanthropy Theatre movies, special events, and discounts at nearby eateries.
