Nicki Minaj fans the flames as she feuds with a singer and a felllow rapper
American rap sensation Nicki Minaj has been on a tirade of late. R&B singer and songwriter SZA is the latest person in her crosshairs. Over the last couple of weeks, Minaj has also had a lot to say about JAY-Z. She alleged he owes her a hefty sum of money involving the deal she struck with him and his streaming platform Tidal. Minaj has not released much new music lately, as someone who people consider a major advisory of hers, Cardi B, is entering the rollout phase of her long-awaited sophomore album. SZA posted a cryptic tweet scoffing at how Mercury is in retrograde and urging a 'silly goose' not to take the bait. Minaj must've taken exception to this. She proceeded to let loose with a barrage of insulting tweets aimed at Top Dog Entertainment's marquee singer. Speculations online swirled as Minaj's fans wondered if she was under the influence at the time. All bets were off as Minaj took shots at SZA. Everything from her capability as an artist, her record of sales and even her looks were mentioned. Minaj went as far as accusing the Snooze hitmaker of inflating her album sales by releasing a deluxe version of her last album, SOS . Terms like 'weirdo' and 'auto-tuned yodelling' were hurled around, much to the dismay of fans. Minaj even dug deep in her files of receipts and unearthed an old tweet by SZA in which she finds issue with the vocal capability of pop stars, Ciara and Rihanna. SZA has not been the only target of Minaj, as JAY-Z felt her wrath too. There has been tension between the two for a while now despite the decent work relationship Minaj has enjoyed with his wife Beyoncé. Minaj accused JAY-Z of cheating her out of millions of dollars in Tidal equity. Minaj is of the notion that she is owed 200 million dollars (3.58 billion ZAR). Her demand was for him to 'settle this karmic debt.' She did jokingly conclude her rant by stating that JAY-Z is still in her top five best rappers. These issues seem timeous as SZA is rumoured to appear on Cardi B's upcoming album. JAY-Z, also known as Hov or Hova, will be headlining the next Super Bowl halftime show. He has also had a heavy hand in organising these in years past. None of which have involved him calling on Minaj to take the stage. JAY-Z has stayed very much in character and has not responded on X. The day after this, JAY was on the sidelines at the FIFA Club World Cup, enjoying the festivities with Brazilian footballing legend Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima, seemingly unbothered. Instead of replying on social media, JAY hopped out in Atlanta while on tour with his wife and played a song with opening lines that can be interpreted as a direct response to Minaj's tweet, in which she said it is blasphemous to refer to him as Hov. Clad in his traditional all-black, JAY-Z let loose with his 2003 street anthem Public Service Announcement , the opening lyrics of which read, 'Allow me to reintroduce myself. My name is Hov. H to the OV.' Analysts and pundits cite an array of reasons as to why this might be happening. Artists like Glorilla, Megan Thee Stallion (whom Minaj has also had issues with) are enjoying their time in the sun with a string of hits being released by Glorilla. Megan announced her new romantic entanglement with basketball star and Dallas Maverick, Klay Thompson. All the while, that new Cardi B album looms, and her latest single Outside has been embraced by the culture. Let us know by leaving a comment below, or send a WhatsApp to 060 011 021 11. Nicki Minaj denies broke rumors, flaunts new mansion and $200M Tidal dispute with Jay-Z
Nicki Minaj is silencing critics who questioned her finances by flexing her luxury lifestyle and reigniting her feud with Jay-Z. The rapper took to X (formerly Twitter) to refute claims that she's broke, following speculation surrounding her recent online attacks aimed at Jay-Z and Roc Nation. Minaj claimed she's in the process of purchasing a third mansion in just two years, adding that she's been buying property for others for over 15 years. 'Catch up ugly,' she wrote to her critics. She also revealed that she recently acquired a pink private jet, adding, 'Entry is for fly Barbz only.' Just bought my first jet. It's all pink. Come on losers get in! Sike. Fly Barbz only. — Nicki Minaj (@NICKIMINAJ) July 11, 2025 This online flex came after Minaj accused Jay-Z of owing her $200 million from the 2021 sale of Tidal to Square Inc., fueling rumors that financial issues prompted her outbursts. But Minaj insists she's far from struggling. 'If tmrw I wake up & want maybe 20-30MM, all I have to do is hand in my album… Then I'd tour again & gross over a hunnit,' she wrote. Minaj's comments come as Jay-Z appeared unbothered, attending the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final in New Jersey and posting photos with Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior. Fans online pointed out the contrast, with one user commenting, 'Mr. Carter is living his best life while Nicki is having a meltdown.' Despite the backlash, Minaj continues to double down, asserting her dominance in the industry and her financial independence. As her Pink Friday 2 World Tour continues to generate buzz, Minaj's latest posts serve as both a clapback and a power move.

Jay-Z hits out at 'harassment' from man claiming to be his son, Entertainment News
Jay-Z has accused a man who claims to be his son of "harassment". The 55-year-old star, who is married to pop superstar Beyonce, has hit out at the "fabricated allegations" by Rymir Satterthwaite and asked a federal judge to intervene in the case. Court documents obtained by Us Weekly show that Jay-Z described the recent lawsuit filed by Satterthwaite as "just the latest" episode of "decades-long harassment" from the man and his godmother. The documents state: "The fabricated allegations and claims have been addressed — and rejected — in multiple other courts, and continued harassment and disregard of those orders has already resulted in a contempt order." Satterthwaite, 32, filed a federal lawsuit against the rapper — whose real name is Shawn Carter — in May and accuses the star of trying to keep him quiet about his paternity. The man claims that his mother Wanda had relations with Jay-Z during the 1990s. After she passed away, Sattherthwaite was cared for by his godmother and says that the pair have faced "unrelenting efforts by (Jay-Z) and his enablers to suppress the truth and silence those who dared to speak it". He accuses Jay-Z of refusing to take a paternity test or answer his claims directly. Sattherthwaite is insistent that he isn't pursuing fame and fortune with his legal case and just wants to discover the truth about his paternity. He told the Daily Mail last year: "Why can't he prove me wrong? "Go the courtroom and do what everyone else has to do. I can take a no. I can take being embarrassed. I just can't take him not saying anything. It is not fair." Meanwhile, rapper Nicki Minaj claims that Jay-Z owes her between $100 to $200 million (S$128 to S$256 million). The Anaconda rapper was one of the original artists that went into partnership with Jay-Z's streaming platform Tidal, launched in 2015. She was reportedly given three per cent equity in exchange for exclusive content and promotion. In 2021, Jay-Z sold a majority stake in Tidal to Jack Dorsey's Square for US$302 million, and the fallout began when she was allegedly only offered US$1 million from the sale. Minaj has hit out at the music mogul on social media and has pledged to use the money she is owed to pay for her fans' tuition fees and student loans. She posted on X on Tuesday (July 8): "We've calculated about 100-200MM so far. #JayZ call me to settle this karmic debt. It's only collecting more interest. "You still in my TOP 5 tho. Let's get it n****. And anyone still calling him Hov will answer to God for the blasphemy." Minaj later added: "I'm going to use some of the money #JayZ owes me to send some of my Barbz to college, pay their school fees and student loans via my #StudentOfTheGame charity." [[nid:720055]]

Nicki Minaj Says JAY-Z Owes Her $200 Million From Her Equity In Tidal
Nicki Minaj is escalating her public feud with JAY-Z as she has now made a claim that he owes her up to $200,000,000 tied to her equity in Tidal. Minaj, who was one of 15 artists gifted a three percent stake in the streaming service at its 2015 launch, said she was offered only $1,000,000 for her share after the company was sold to Jack Dorsey's Square for $302,000,000 in 2021. 'We've calculated about 100-200MM so far. #JayZ call me to settle this karmic debt. It's only collecting more interest,' she wrote on X, adding that despite the financial dispute, 'You still in my TOP 5 tho.' The global icon also referenced her philanthropic goals, stating that any money recouped would help fund her #StudentOfTheGame initiative, designed to cover tuition and student loans for fans. Yesterday (July 8), Minaj directed further criticism at Roc Nation members when she called out CEO Desiree Perez, sharing a screenshot of a video that accused Perez of abusing her own daughter, Demoree. The video alleges that Perez held her daughter against her will and physically assaulted her — claims that have not been verified. Minaj then reignited speculation about JAY-Z's alleged paternity case involving Raymir Satterthwaite, a man who has long claimed the Hip-Hop mogul is his biological father. Sharing a screenshot of a headline claiming a judge recently approved the continuation of Raymir's request for a paternity test, Minaj captioned the image: 'Oh is this why he was trending the other day? Idk. I hope all is well. To God be the glory.' The paternity suit has not been publicly confirmed by JAY-Z. Minaj also came for Megan Thee Stallion just as a federal judge ruled that a sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit filed against the Houston rapper by her former cameraman could proceed. In a pointed post, Minaj wrote, 'What was the name of that law again??????? Karma's Law? Touch not my anointed law? Vengeance is the Lord's law?… the blogs posting lies, thank you. More money for me. We're working. Trust.' The post appeared to reference Megan's 2024 song 'Hiss,' where she took a vague jab at Minaj's husband, Kenneth Petty. On the track, Megan rapped, 'These ho*s don't be mad at Megan, these ho*s mad at Megan's Law/ I don't really know what the problem is, but I guarantee y'all don't want me to start.' The line referenced Petty's status as a court-ordered registered sex offender stemming from a 1995 case. Minaj's latest online rant comes amid increasing scrutiny of Roc Nation and some of its high-profile artists and executives. As of now, neither JAY-Z, Perez, Megan Thee Stallion, nor Roc Nation have publicly responded to Minaj's claims. Nicki Minaj alleges Jay-Z owes her at least $128m, Entertainment News
Nicki Minaj has alleged Jay-Z owes her between US$100 and US$200 million (S$128 million to S$256 million). Nicki has now blasted the music mogul and warned him the interest is building, while she pledged to use the money he allegedly owes her to pay off her fans' — known as Barbz — tuition fees and student loans. She raged on X on Tuesday (July 8): "We've calculated about 100-200MM so far. #JayZ call me to settle this karmic debt. It's only collecting more interest. "You still in my Top 5 though. Let's get it n****. And anyone still calling him Hov will answer to god for the blasphemy." Nicki later added: "I'm going to use some of the money #JayZ owes me to send some of my Barbz to college, pay their school fees and student loans via my #StudentOfTheGame charity." She also brought up Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez being pardoned by President Donald Trump. Jay-Z's Roc Nation curates and produces the Super Bowl Halftime Show for the NFL, and during his performance on the pitch in February, Kendrick Lamar performed his Drake diss hit Not Like Us. Referencing the Super Bowl, Minaj penned: "So wait. JayZ had not like us playing at the superbowl after his CEO was pardoned by President Trump? We gotta find out who 'they' is. President Biden posting not like us after Desirat was pardoned by President Trump is so (sic)" [[nid:719970]]
