Former CNN commentator has 'gut feeling' Trump, Republicans cheated in 2024 and will rig 2026 midterm

Former CNN commentator Angela Rye revealed on Friday that she believed President Donald Trump and the Republicans stole the 2024 election and are planning to steal the 2026 election. "I think me and [Tiffany Cross] really might feel a way about telling y'all how many days are left till the midterms because I don't really know this thing's going to damn happen," Rye said on her "Native Land Pod" podcast. She added, "Even if they are going to happen, are they going to cheat like they did, I still feel like they did, in the 2024 election? I don't have data. I got a gut feeling, but I'm going to tell you about the Black woman and the Holy Ghost. We be spot on." Her podcast co-star and former MSNBC host Tiffany Cross stopped short of accusing the 2024 election of being stolen, though she felt that the election may "require some investigation" based on arguments she has heard. Charlamagne Suggests Big, Beautiful Bill Is Sign That Midterms And 2028 Election Will Be 'Fixed' She agreed with Rye, however, that she didn't see a point in looking forward to the midterm elections. Read On The Fox News App "Even if they did, okay it's here now," Cross said. "Like what, they're not going to say 'okay takesies backsies we stole it.' Like they have already instituted this authoritarian regime, and I don't know any post-industrialized country that has come this far into authoritarianism and turned around." She continued, "So why we think all of a sudden we're going to have free and fair elections in this country for midterms, which we've never really had, as Black folks know all too well and, as women know all too well. We've never really had that, but we think somehow in 480 days that we're going to have a better chance at democracy. I just don't think so." Former Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum defended pushing for the midterm elections, arguing that it was important to have faith in the election system despite its outcomes. Former CNN host Don Lemon and comedian Kathy Griffin also suggested last month that Trump tampered with the 2024 election since "something was off."Original article source: Former CNN commentator has 'gut feeling' Trump, Republicans cheated in 2024 and will rig 2026 midterm

‘Assassination culture' makes ICE its new target — and Dems fan the flames

It should be this week's biggest story: Violent assailants are targeting on-the-job federal law enforcement officials with murderous intent. US Immigration and Customs Enforcement is bearing the brunt of these assaults, with aggression against ICE agents up 700% compared to the same time last year. Blame the Democrats — as their unhinged rhetoric turbocharges the left's 'assassination culture.' Advertisement On Thursday, a rioter trying to stop an ICE raid on a marijuana farm in Camarillo, Calif., shot a gun at agents, while other protesters pelted federal vehicles with large rocks. Agents found 10 underage illegal immigrants working at the farm, which is now being investigated for child labor violations. Days earlier, on July 4, a masked and armed mob dressed in tactical gear attacked an ICE facility in Alvarado, Texas. Advertisement A local police officer was shot in the neck as assailants rioted and defaced officers' vehicles with graffiti reading 'traitor' and 'ICE pig.' On Monday, a gunman ambushed Border Patrol agents in McAllen, Texas. Two officers and a federal employee were injured, one shot in the knee, before the shooter was neutralized. These attacks are escalating in frequency and ferocity. Advertisement Earlier this year, Tesla dealerships were firebombed and shot at while conservative influencers, as well as their family members, were menaced by dangerous 'swatting' calls that sent armed officers to their homes. In April I described in these pages a survey in which frightening numbers of left-leaning Americans said that political violence — up to and including assassination — can be 'acceptable.' 'It certainly feels like a powder keg,' I wrote, 'as violence is excused and celebrated online as never before.' Now that keg is exploding in our streets. Advertisement We understand that people in public-facing roles are taking a risk when they do their jobs. It's why assaulting a bus driver, say, carries a heavier penalty than raging at a co-worker. But Democrats are doing nothing to calm their base's insane fury. Instead, they're openly demonizing ICE agents, often comparing them to the Gestapo in Adolf Hitler's Nazi Germany. On Tuesday, CNN's Tiffany Cross shrieked that the feds are 'kidnapping people and transporting them to concentration camps.' How galling. The people Hitler rounded up were sent to death camps. Hardly the same as getting a free ticket back to your home country. Advertisement Keep up with today's most important news Stay up on the very latest with Evening Update. Thanks for signing up! Check out more newsletters Democrats like House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries are also whipping their followers into a frenzy over ICE agents who wear masks when conducting raids. 'Every single ICE agent who's engaged in this aggressive overreach and are trying to hide their identities from the American people will be unsuccessful,' Jeffries railed last month. 'Every single one of them, no matter what it takes, no matter how long it takes, will, of course, be identified.' Advertisement For what purpose if not to harm them? Meanwhile, the lefty media is lending an assist, portraying ICE as a uniquely dangerous agency out of step with the American public. Agents are 'miserable,' claimed the Atlantic's Nick Miroff, because they're 'vilified by broad swaths of the public.' 'The overreach we're seeing in terms of what ICE is doing now is not commensurate with what the American public wants,' declared liberal commentator Jessica Tarlov on Fox News, who insisted that voters don't want those who merely crossed into our country illegally to be deported. Advertisement False: Multiple recent polls find a majority of Americans in favor of deporting all illegal immigrants, not just those who committed further crimes after entering — from 55% (The New York Times) to 64% (Marquette). No, it's no great mystery what Americans want. Voters elected Donald Trump on the explicit promise that he would end the chaos Joe Biden allowed to reign on our border — and deport those who broke our laws and came here illegally. The disorder of the last few years left Americans exhausted. Advertisement They picked Trump to clean house. Democrats, and their media friends, are doing everything they can to stop him from doing it. Instead of giving their followers permission to turn their anger into violence, they need to help their base accept reality. Rage and fury at this level can easily spread out of control. Yet they're showing no signs of doing so. 'Our own base is telling us . . . there needs to be blood to grab the attention of the press and the public,' an unnamed Democratic House member told Axios this week. 'Some of them have suggested . . . what we really need to do is be willing to get shot' in anti-ICE protests. 'Civility isn't working,' another House Democrat said. This sadistic lust for violence must be put down, hard. Democrats need to find the bravery to tell their leftist flank: Enough. The week in whoppers: TV host Tiffany Cross, Dem leader Hakeem Jeffries go bonkers on deportations and more

Diary of disturbing disinformation and dangerous delusions This claim: '[ICE is] kidnapping people and transporting them to concentration camps.' — Tiffany Cross on CNN, Tuesday Advertisement We say: No wonder even far-left MSNBC had to boot Cross. ICE doesn't 'kidnap' people: It arrests those who enter the country illegally; many have criminal records. 'Concentration camps'? As The Post's Kelly Jane Torrance responded, such claims are 'insulting to Jewish Holocaust survivors.' Advertisement Detention centers are nothing like Nazi camps, with gas ovens and hard labor. If CNN is going to give Cross a platform, maybe it should make sure she's taking medication first. This charge: 'Trump . . . [is] deporting American citizens and children, some with cancer.' Advertisement — House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Monday We say: Tiffany Cross may hope to build her career on unhinged, inflammatory statements, but what's Jeffries' excuse? He's the House Democratic leader. Trump & Co. don't intentionally deport US citizens. When illegal immigrant parents are lawfully sent home, they may take their children with them. Advertisement But even if the kids were born here and are thus citizens, that doesn't mean they're being deported. This assertion: '[The 2016 election-interference assessment was] done in an apolitical and nonpartisan fashion.' — Ex-CIA Director John Brennan, Wednesday We say: Brennan's lies never end. He told Congress in 2017 the bogus Steele dossier 'wasn't part of the corpus of intelligence information' informing that 2016 assessment, but in a just-released email, he insisted it be included. He falsely suggested The Post's 2020 scoop on Hunter Biden's laptop was Russian disinformation. Now he claims the 2016 assessment was 'apolitical and nonpartisan,' even as a new review of it, as CIA boss John Ratcliffe notes, shows it was done 'through an atypical & corrupt process under the politically charged environments.' No wonder the FBI's probing him. Advertisement This description: '[The recent LA unrest] was a mass, nonviolent, peaceful protest, and there was an 8- or 10-block area where there were riots happening.' — Rep. Jamie Raskin, Saturday Advertisement We say: Didn't Raskin learn from the mockery sparked by claims the George Floyd protests were 'mostly peaceful'? The recent anti-ICE 'protest' in Los Angeles injured dozens of people, damaged property and led to hundreds of arrests. And it might've been worse without Trump's intervention. — Compiled by The Post Editorial Board

Ex-MSNBC host accuses Trump admin of 'kidnapping' people and 'transporting them to concentration camps'

Former MSNBC host Tiffany Cross accused President Donald Trump's administration of "kidnapping" people and "transporting them to concentration camps" in a CNN appearance on Tuesday night. "I think this is the challenge I have with even talking about this," Cross said. "We are normalizing a government agency disappearing people," she added. "We're normalizing — we're talking about it like it's no big deal that they are kidnapping people and transporting them to concentration camps, both domestic and foreign." Kelly Jane Torrance, New York Post editor-at-large, interjected, saying, "I think that's kind of insulting to Jewish Holocaust survivors." But Cross fired back, saying, "I think it's insulting what they're doing. It is not insulting to the Jewish Holocaust. I find it insulting that you could even fix your mouth to defend this disgusting behavior." Torrance asked if there were "gas ovens" at the detention centers, to which Cross responded, "It doesn't matter! It's a concentration camp what they're doing, and they are disappearing people, claiming that these are people who have committed the most harsh crimes, but according to the reporting, less than 10% of these people have committed harsh crimes. So to do the victim Olympics and decide who had it worse, I can tell you I can participate in that, too." "These are despicable comments that warrant an immediate public apology," White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson told Fox News Digital. "Detaining and deporting criminal illegal aliens is incomparable to the horrors of concentration camps. Full stop." "These types of obviously false, but very unhinged, comments inspire violence against ICE and Border Patrol officers who are simply doing their job and enforcing the law with the utmost professionalism. A radical criminal just attempted to murder Border Patrol agents because of deranged comments like this," Jackson continued. "Tiffany Cross should apologize and CNN should not give a platform to dangerous rhetoric that inspires violence," she said. Last week, Trump and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem visited Florida for the opening of "Alligator Alcatraz," a migrant detention facility recently opened in the Florida Everglades. The detention center is located on the site of a former airport and is said to be able to accommodate 5,000 illegal immigrants, with the president working to act on campaign promises to remove illegal immigrants from the country. Fox News Digital reached out to CNN for comment.
