Jr NTR joins final leg of ‘War 2' shoot in Mumbai
Tollywood superstar Jr NTR is on a roll, and one of the most highly anticipated projects on his slate is War 2, where he takes on a powerful antagonist role opposite Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan. The high-octane spy thriller, produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Ayan Mukerji, marks Jr NTR's grand Bollywood debut, and the buzz surrounding it is immense. The actor was recently spotted in Mumbai, and sources confirm that he's in the city to participate in the final leg of War 2's shoot. Filming had come to a temporary halt a few months ago following an injury to Hrithik Roshan, but with the actor fully recovered, production is now back on track. This schedule will mark the completion of the film's shoot. Adding to the momentum, Jr NTR has also wrapped up dubbing for his portions, signaling that post-production is in full swing as the team races toward the finish line. In War 2, Jr NTR is expected to bring a fierce and layered performance to his negative role, setting the stage for an electrifying face-off with Hrithik Roshan's spy character. The film is a part of the larger YRF Spy Universe, following hits like Pathaan and Tiger 3, and is being mounted on a grand scale. Yash Raj Films upcoming spy thriller War 2 to release globally in IMAX
Yash Raj Films (YRF), one of India's leading film studios, has announced that its upcoming spy thriller War 2 will be released globally in IMAX. The film is scheduled to debut on August 14 in IMAX theatres across key international markets including North America, the Middle East, the UK and Europe, Australasia, Africa, and SouthEast Asia, alongside its domestic release in India. War 2 is the latest installment in the YRF Spy Universe, which includes films such as Pathaan, Tiger 3, and the original War. The 2023 release Pathaan was one of the highest-grossing IMAX titles in India, highlighting the franchise's strong international following. Marking 50 days to War 2, YRF today released new posters of Hrithik Roshan , NTR and Kiara Advani with the IMAX announcement. Sharing the fun story, Salman said, "Wo hamare ghar aaye, unhone kaha ki main apne rented apartment se nikal raha hu, mujhe 1-2 maheene ke liye stay chahiye. I said - Stay, you are more than welcome. To aake ke reh gaye aur phir dedh-do saal ho gaye (leaving everyone in splits)." "He came to our house, he said that I am moving out of my rented apartment, I need a stay for 1-2 months. I said - Stay, you are more than welcome. So he came and stayed, and then one-two years passed (leaving everyone in splits)." While continuing the story, the 56-year-old mentioned, "To ek din hamne poocha ki Bhai kab jaane ka plan hai? Ghar dekh rahe the aap apna, Kya hua uska? He said, wo to ghar 15 din me mil gaya that jab main yaha aaya that, usko Maine rent me chada diya hai." (So one day we asked him, When are you planning to leave, brother? For the unversed, Avinash Gowariker is among the most popular celebrity photographers today. In an earlier interview with Bollywood Bubble, Avinash himself told this story and called Salman Khan and his whole family 'very kind-hearted'. He mentioned that at those times, he was struggling and not connected to any Khan member.
