Jr NTR joins final leg of ‘War 2' shoot in Mumbai

Tollywood superstar Jr NTR is on a roll, and one of the most highly anticipated projects on his slate is War 2, where he takes on a powerful antagonist role opposite Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan. The high-octane spy thriller, produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Ayan Mukerji, marks Jr NTR's grand Bollywood debut, and the buzz surrounding it is immense. The actor was recently spotted in Mumbai, and sources confirm that he's in the city to participate in the final leg of War 2's shoot. Filming had come to a temporary halt a few months ago following an injury to Hrithik Roshan, but with the actor fully recovered, production is now back on track. This schedule will mark the completion of the film's shoot. Adding to the momentum, Jr NTR has also wrapped up dubbing for his portions, signaling that post-production is in full swing as the team races toward the finish line. In War 2, Jr NTR is expected to bring a fierce and layered performance to his negative role, setting the stage for an electrifying face-off with Hrithik Roshan's spy character. The film is a part of the larger YRF Spy Universe, following hits like Pathaan and Tiger 3, and is being mounted on a grand scale. War 2 is slated for a massive multilingual release on August 14, 2025, in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil, just ahead of Independence Day weekend.

The Great Indian Kapil Show: Salman Khan reveals Avinash Gowariker stayed in his home until Sohail's marriage, 'Dedh-do saal ho gaye...'

The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 4 is back with a bang! Megastar Salman Khan made his appearance as the first guest of the show. His candid revelations about life, family, and his constant jabs at various matters, including marriage and divorce, continued to entertain the audience, offering a perfect dose of entertainment. Salman Khan recalls how Avinash Gowariker stayed at the Galaxy Apartment, renting his own house In one such revelation, the Dabangg actor reminisced about how popular photographer Avinash Gowariker stayed at his house until Sohail Khan married. Sharing the fun story, Salman said, "Wo hamare ghar aaye, unhone kaha ki main apne rented apartment se nikal raha hu, mujhe 1-2 maheene ke liye stay chahiye. I said - Stay, you are more than welcome. To aake ke reh gaye aur phir dedh-do saal ho gaye (leaving everyone in splits)." "He came to our house, he said that I am moving out of my rented apartment, I need a stay for 1-2 months. I said - Stay, you are more than welcome. So he came and stayed, and then one-two years passed (leaving everyone in splits)." While continuing the story, the 56-year-old mentioned, "To ek din hamne poocha ki Bhai kab jaane ka plan hai? Ghar dekh rahe the aap apna, Kya hua uska? He said, wo to ghar 15 din me mil gaya that jab main yaha aaya that, usko Maine rent me chada diya hai." (So one day we asked him, When are you planning to leave, brother? You were looking for your house. What happened to it? He said, I got the house in 15 days when I came here, I have given it on rent.) Furthermore, Salman Khan took a jibe at Sohail Khan's marriage. "Ussi dauraan Sohail ne bhaag kar shaadi ki thi, ab wo bhi bhag gayi (During that time Sohail had eloped and got married, now she has also eloped)," said Salman, leaving the audience in a chuckle. The Tiger 3 actor mentioned that Avinash used to stay in Sohail's room. When Sohail got married, Avinash was sleeping in his bed. Sohail asked him to wake up and move out, as he had gotten married. Avinash's reaction was priceless- "This is not fair. How can you get married like this? You should tell me. I mean, this is not fair at all—where will I go?" Salman laughs. Who is Avinash Gowariker? For the unversed, Avinash Gowariker is among the most popular celebrity photographers today. In an earlier interview with Bollywood Bubble, Avinash himself told this story and called Salman Khan and his whole family 'very kind-hearted'. He mentioned that at those times, he was struggling and not connected to any Khan member. No one in the Khan family knew him, even then, Bhaijaan opened doors for him, and Sohail allowed him to live in his room. Stay tuned to Pinkvilla for more updates.

Salman Khan's Bodyguard Pushes Away Junaid Khan At Sitaare Zameen Par Premiere

Last Updated: At the Sitaare Zameen Par premiere, a viral video shows Salman Khan's bodyguard pushing away Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan as he tried to approach the actor. It was meant to be a celebratory evening for Aamir Khan, whose latest film Sitaare Zameen Par premiered in Mumbai on Thursday with much fanfare. But a brief moment of tension unfolded on the red carpet when superstar Salman Khan, attending the event to support his longtime friend, was surrounded by an unusually high security detail—one so vigilant that even Aamir's own son Junaid Khan couldn't get close to the actor. In viral footage circulating online, Salman is seen making his way through the crowd with a heavy security entourage guarding every step. Amid the chaos, Junaid can be seen attempting to approach the Tiger 3 star, but his efforts were swiftly intercepted by Salman's security team, who pushed him aside to maintain a safe perimeter around the actor. Despite Junaid trying to reason with the bodyguards, his access was firmly blocked. Salman, who appeared focused and unaware of the incident, continued walking without acknowledging the commotion behind him. The heightened security around Salman Khan comes in the wake of several death threats he has reportedly received over the past year, leading his team to exercise extreme caution during public appearances. Junaid Khan, who made his acting debut in 2024 with the OTT release Maharaj, followed by Loveyapa opposite Khushi Kapoor, has been carving his path in the industry. While Maharaj earned critical praise, Loveyapa, a romantic comedy directed by Advait Chandan, failed to resonate with audiences, closing its theatrical run with a modest ₹8.85 crore worldwide collection. As for Aamir Khan, he stars in Sitaare Zameen Par, a spiritual successor to his iconic 2007 film Taare Zameen Par. The newly released film, which features Genelia D'Souza in a prominent role, hit theatres on June 20 and has drawn significant buzz for its emotional depth and thematic continuity. First Published:
