Alliance University observes International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking
Alliance University marked the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, observed annually on June 26, with an awareness initiative organised in collaboration with the Anekal police station.
Inspector Tippeswamy of Anekal Police Station, addressing hundreds of students and faculty members, shared real-life legal experiences, shedding light on the social and legal consequences of drug abuse. His message emphasized the importance of responsible decision-making among youth.
Following the session, a rally was held within the university campus under the leadership of students. Carrying placards and banners, students raised slogans against drug abuse, advocating for a healthy and aware society.
