There's also a new range of savoury Barista Bites: Cheese Bites – Golden, crumb-coated bites of melted cheese, served with a tangy tomato chutney for a satisfying, savoury snack. High Protein Chicken Bites – Crispy breaded chicken bites served with a smoky chipotle BBQ dip, delivering big flavour and a protein boost. 'From the smooth sweetness of the Spanish Latte to the Tiramisu Cookie Sandwich inspired by the classic Italian dessert, it's all about helping our customers taste a little bit of Summer, one sip or bite at a time. Costa Coffee is launching new summer menu including tiramisu-inspired drinks

The first new addition from Costa is a new Tiramisu Frappe which is inspired by the classic dessert, and the second is the Tiramisu Iced Whipped Latte Costa Coffee has announced its new summer menu - and it includes a range of tiramisu-inspired drinks. The first is a new Tiramisu Frappe which is inspired by the classic dessert. Described by Costa as 'luxuriously creamy', this Frappe blends coffee with a tiramisu-inspired sauce, topped with light whip and cocoa dusting. ‌ There is also a Tiramisu Iced Whipped Latte which features the same tiramisu-flavour sauce, topped with velvety whipped coffee. ‌ Previously an exclusive to Costa Club members, the Vanilla Lavender Iced Whipped Latte is also joining the main menu for a limited time. This floral blend is made with vanilla lavender-flavour sauce with whipped coffee. Costa fans will also be able to try three new iced Refresher drinks in Strawberry, Watermelon and Mint and Dragon Fruit and Guava. There are also some new drinks available in select retailers and Costa Express machines. The new Ready-to-Drink Tiramisu Frappe is exclusive in selected Asda stores until May 22 and in selected Boots stores until May 12, but will be available in Costa stores nationwide later this month. You'll also find a new Pistachio Latte and Iced Pistachio Latte exclusively at Costa Express machines nationwide. ‌ In terms of food, Costa is adding a new Gluten Free Mozzarella and Pesto Toastie with Roasted Pepper Sauce to its menu in selected stores. This features gooey mozzarella and mature Cheddar cheese, with smoky roast red pepper sauce and green pesto, packed into gluten-free seeded bread. ‌ Meanwhile, the Chicken Shawarma Flatbread - filled with shawarma chicken, garlic yoghurt and sweet chilli sauce, topped with tangy pink pickled onions and spinach, all wrapped in a harissa-spiced flatbread - is returning to the menu, alongside the Tandoori Bhaji Flatbread. This flatbread is packed with tandoori spiced bhajis, cucumber and red onion raita dressing, finished with a tangy mango chutney, topped with spinach in a garlic and herb flatbread. It comes after Costa confirmed that it no longer offers customers the option to heat up their cinnamon bun after receiving several reports of people burning their mouths on the hot icing. ‌ The cinnamon bun costs around £3.25 in the majority of its branches and is made of a sweet bun swirled with cinnamon filling, decorated with cream cheese icing and dusted with cinnamon powder. The news came to light after coffee fans took to social media to ask why they were no longer able to get their treats warmed up. One X - formerly Twitter - user asked the company: "Why can't I get my cinnamon bun (best there is) heated? If it's because of stupid H&S issues regarding hot icing, then why can you have hot cheese in your toasties? Come on Costa grow up treat us like adults, and heat your Cinnamon buns." Costa replied: "We have had several reports of customers burning their mouths on the icing, so we have had to advise our teams not to heat these up anymore. We do apologise for any disappointment caused.'
