People are just realising Ashley Tisdale's age after Disney star flaunts youthful looks
Disney legend Ashley Tisdale showed off her youthful looks in a recent Instagram post – and fans of the High School Musical star simply can't believe her age... Followers of High School Musical sensation Ashley Tisdale have only just realised her actual age following a jaw-dropping Instagram upload. The actress caused quite a stir online earlier this year with a viral social media post that garnered more than 460,000 likes. Admirers were left gobsmacked by the former Disney star, with many crediting her youthful appearance to those famous "Sharpay genes". In the High School Musical star's post, she shared: "How I thought I'd look at 40 vs. how I actually look." The first portion of the clip featured a filter that gave the Phineas and Ferb voice actress the appearance of having wrinkles and silver hair. However, when the filter disappeared, viewers were absolutely floored by Tisdale's real appearance. Fans seem to think the star hasn't aged a single day since her memorable performance in the High School Musical trilogy. The post, shared on 22nd April this year, was accompanied by the caption: "Almost 40 and still feeling 25." One admirer joked: "It's those Sharpay genes." Another commented: "People need to get it out of their head that 30 to 40 is old." Tisdale, who celebrated her 40th birthday on 2nd July this year, shot to fame through her roles in High School Musical and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. She later landed the lead in Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure in 2011. The Disney alumna stepped away from acting in 2016 to concentrate on her musical career, whilst also making her television debut as a panellist on The Masked Dancer. The star also ventured into video game voice acting for the first time with The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes. Tisdale's latest film appearance was in Baby Shark's Big Movie! back in 2023. Earlier this month, Tisdale reflected on reaching the milestone of 40. She shared in an Instagram post: "Looking back at the milestones - big and small - that shaped me, I see a life built with intention, love, and resilience. "I've grown through things I never imagined I'd face. I've learned to trust my instincts, to listen to my heart, and to protect my peace. I've let go of timelines, softened into myself, and started choosing what truly matters. "And at the centre of it all is the family I've built - my greatest pride, my truest joy. A love I couldn't have dreamed up if I tried. "It hasn't all been easy. Nothing was ever handed to me. At one point, my mental health was at its lowest - I didn't recognise or even like myself. But I kept going. I did the work. I grew. And now I look around and am proud of who I've becoming. "If I could give any advice so far, it would be this: lead with love. Don't pour your energy into the bad stuff - pour it into the good. That's what grows. That's what lasts."

'Communication is key': Ashley Tisdale on secret to her successful 10-year marriage with Christopher French
Washington DC [US], July 6 (ANI): Actress and singer Ashley Tisdale opened up about why her marriage with husband Christopher French remains successful after 10 years, reported People. The pair dated for eight months before getting engaged in 2013, and they tied the knot in September 2014. They share two daughters, Jupiter, 4, and Emerson, 10 months, and Tisdale is opening up about why their relationship remains successful. "No matter what in life, things change," said Tisdale, adding, "I think the biggest thing is to always just try to stay on the same page throughout that." "Communication is key to everything. That's a big one for us," added the Phineas and Ferb actress and CEO of the wellness brand Being Frenshe, reported People. Tisdale and French shared a great bond as a married couple for nearly six years before welcoming Jupiter in March 2021. "We definitely had a really good foundation of years to just learn about each other before having kids, which I think is so important because just kids change everything," she said. "One of the things I noticed is that it brings out the flaws more in each other, the flaws that you've always known about your person. You're like, 'Oh, it's fine.' But then when you have kids, it is, "Oh my God." It bothers you more for some reason," added Tisdale. Ashley further said, "But then there's some people I know that literally get married and have kids, and they're really great, too. So, I don't know. Everyone is different." Tisdale believes "timing is everything" for the success of a couple, reported People. "The best thing is that me and Chris, I think, found each other at the right time," she said. Tisdale recently celebrated her 40th birthday, and French took to Instagram for the occasion with a series of photos of his wife and kids alongside a sweet message. "Happy Birthday to the most amazing, beautiful, kind, smart, sexy, talented woman in the world. It's such an honor to walk beside you, and see your growth into such an incredible Mom. Thank you for being you, we love you always & all ways," he wrote, reported People. (ANI)

Ashley Tisdale on what makes her High School Musical character iconic
Washington DC [US], June 22 (ANI): Actress and singer Ashley Tisdale talked about her 'High School Musical' character and what made it iconic. Tisdale, who played Sharpay Evans, a student with a love of theatre in the hit Disney franchise, recently shared what she thought was "so funny" about the role, reported People. "When I played the character of Sharpay -- I think it was probably what made her so funny -- was that I truly thought [Sharpay] was the popular girl in school. I thought Sharpay was popular, and I played it like she was popular," Tisdale recalled. "And [director] Kenny Ortega enhanced that. He made me feel like I was popular. But what's so funny is that she's not the popular girl. She's the drama queen. And my husband's like, 'That's what's so funny about how you played it. You thought you were popular,' " she continued, according to People. The actress also shared how it feels "so cool" to see the character find new life on social media and in meme culture. "Sharpay is -- I swear she's mother to everybody -- because it's like she just keeps coming back on these memes and people keep talking and doing the songs," she said, adding, "And I'm just like, I mean, out of everyone in High School Musical, my character is the most iconic. It's so cool." Tisdale, who also voices Candace Flynn in the hit animated series Phineas and Ferb, said how lucky she feels to have been a part of multiple franchises that have reached cult status. "I mean, it's so cool ... It's really awesome to be a part of these projects that have really been so prevalent in pop culture and to play these characters," she adds. "It's just, you're like, 'Dang, man.' I can't believe out of everything that I auditioned for [...] I got this animation [series] that has lasted this long. Or I was always trying to get a Disney movie, and never got the movie. And then, I got High School Musical," according to People. "Out of all the ones, I get that. This is pretty awesome," she said, reported People. 'High School Musical' became one of the most successful Disney Channel Original movies of all time. It generated two popular sequel films, the third of which was released in theatres in 2008 and earned more than USD 250 million worldwide at the box office, per Variety. Two sequels, High School Musical 2 and High School Musical 3: Senior Year, were released in August 2007 and October 2008, respectively. (ANI)

Tisdale mayor personally offering $1000 to double reward for info about vandalized crosswalk
The Town of Tisdale is not only condemning vandalism that defaced a Pride crosswalk with a black swastika, it's also offering a $2,000 reward to find who is responsible. 'The first thing that goes through your mind is how disappointed I am in these individuals who acted before they even thought about what they actually did. They didn't think it through,' Mayor Roy Skoglund said. Pictures posted to social media show a Pride crosswalk painted by Tisdale Middle and Secondary School students, in collaboration with Suncrest College, earlier in the week was vandalized and noticed by people walking into work on Thursday. The town is offering $1,000 for information that leads to charges, but that's not enough for Skoglund, who is putting up $1,000 of his own money to double the reward to $2,000. 'It just hits home with me,' Skoglund. 'I'm really disappointed.' Rainbow crosswalk (Photo: Tisdale Rant and Rave/Facebook) Tisdale RCMP are investigating and believe the swastika was painted sometime between 9:45 p.m. Wednesday night and 4 a.m. Thursday morning. The vandalism is being met with shock and disappointment across the community. 'For my kids to come and see that swastika — there was no need. I don't know. I can't understand the mentality of the person that would think that that's a good thing,' resident Bruce Chafe said after walking by the swastika that had since had a vehicle parked overtop of it with signs saying 'Together we are better' written on the windows. 'There would be no explanation that I would accept.' Skoglund said a company was being paid to sandblast the graffiti and Pride flag Friday afternoon. There are no immediate plans to repaint the Pride flag, but the town will follow the students' lead once they come to a decision. Regardless of what they decide, Stacy Lair, the director of education for North East School Division, doesn't want the students to be discouraged by the vandalism. 'They want to feel belonging and inclusion in our schools and our system,' she said. 'And that's something we'll continue to work towards and support them to see past something that's really atrocious like this.'
