Speaker Khader questions lack of uniform SOP for police in DK
Mangaluru: Speaker UT Khader questioned police for not having a uniform SOP to control the law and order situation in Dakshina Kannada district. The speaker told reporters on Thursday that he would write to home minister G Parameshwara and also discuss the matter with him. "All police officers receive IPS training at the same academy, but why is there a different style of administration when they come to Dakshina Kannada? A new study has raised serious concerns about a hidden health risk lurking in some of the country's most scenic neighborhoods, golf courses. According to research published in JAMA Network Open, living within a mile of a golf course could increase a person's risk of developing Parkinson's disease by a staggering 126%.
