EPA-EFE/Roberto Bregani Pobega already spent last season on loan with an option to buy for €12m, but the club decided not to activate it, hoping instead to negotiate a better deal. Okafor returned to base after six months on loan at Scudetto winners Napoli, despite barely setting foot on the pitch during that spell. Besiktas and Fenerbahce have both approached Milan for Okafor, but they wanted him on loan with an option to buy, whereas the Rossoneri are determined to sell outright.

Report – Bologna Target Inter Milan Star If Unable To Sign AC Milan Midfielder
Bologna are eyeing up a move for Inter Milan midfielder Kristjan Asllani if they're unable to sign Tommaso Pobega from AC Milan. This according to today's print edition of Bologna-based newspaper Corriere di Bologna, via FCInter1908. They also report that Rolando Mandragora and Kristian Thorstvedt are among the Rossoblu's midfield targets. Advertisement Bologna are looking to lock down their midfield this summer. The Emilian club already look set to keep Giovanni Fabbian. Inter Milan reportedly will not exercise their buyback option on the 23-year-old. However, one player who could be leaving the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara this summer is Tommaso Pobega. However, they will only do so if the Rossoneri accept a fee of €8 million or less. Advertisement Therefore, Bologna are also considering alternative plans in midfield. One idea would be a move for Inter midfielder Kristjan Asllani, reports the Corriere di Bologna. Then, Fiorentina's Rolando Mandragora would be another possible target. Mandragora is a player who coach Vincenzo Italiano trusts from his time as Viola coach, and his contract expires at the end of next June. Meanwhile, reports the Corriere di Bologna, Bologna could also try to sign Kristian Thorstvedt from newly-promoted Sassuolo.
