Creedence Clearwater Revival's Big Week On The American Charts

Creedence Clearwater Revival's Chronicle returns to the Top Streaming Albums chart and climbs four ... More other Billboard rankings, nearing 50 years since release. UNSPECIFIED - CIRCA 1970: Photo of Creedence Clearwater Revival Photo by MichaelChronicle: The 20 Greatest Hits by Creedence Clearwater Revival is already one of the longest-running successful albums in American history, and it has been for many years. The compilation is the fifth-longest-running title on the Billboard 200, with more than 750 weeks on the ranking to its credit, and Chronicle adds to that total every time Billboard refreshes its lists. The collection is having another huge week in the United States, as it rises on multiple tallies and even returns to one ranking. In one instance, the compilation — now almost 50 years old — even manages to return to its peak position. Creedence Clearwater Revival Climbs Billboard's ranking of the most consumed EPs and full-lengths specific to the rock genre sees Chronicle step up from No. 5 to No. 3. As it climbs, the compilation matches its previously-set peak on the tally. The singles-packed release first reached that high point in February 2023, years after it first landed on the Top Rock Albums list. Chronicle Rises on Four Billboard Rankings The compilation lifts to No. 5 on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums ranking, to No. 30 on the Top Album Sales tally, and to No. 31 on the Billboard 200 this week. Chronicle moved about 18,300 equivalent units in the past tracking period, up 12% from the frame prior, according to Luminate. Sales made up about 2,400 copies of that total. While that figure is actually down from the week before, competition is not nearly as fierce on the Top Album Sales list, which allows Creedence Clearwater Revival to grow. Chronicle Also Returns to the Streaming Ranking As Chronicle ascends on the aforementioned four rankings, the compilation also breaks back onto the Top Streaming Albums chart. John Fogerty, who is credited separately alongside Creedence Clearwater Revival in just one instance, reappears at No. 35 on Billboard's 50-spot ranking of the most successful projects on platforms like Apple Music, Tidal, and Spotify. "Fortunate Son" Rocks Back As Well As Creedence Clearwater Revival finds its way back to the Top Streaming Albums chart, the group also reappears on another streaming list in America. "Fortunate Son" rises to No. 21 on the Rock Streaming Songs tally, earning its milestone seventieth stay on the roster.

Morgan Wallen's Debut Album Rises Higher Than Ever

Morgan Wallen's debut album If I Know Me reaches a new peak of No. 33 on Billboard's Top Streaming ... More Albums chart as it climbs on all three tallies it appears on. AUSTIN, TX - MAY 04: (EDITORIAL USE ONLY. NO COMMERCIAL USE) Morgan Wallen performs live during the Daytime Village at the 2019 iHeartCountry Festival Presented by Capital One at the Frank Erwin Center on May 4, 2019 in Austin, Texas. (Photo byfor iHeartMedia) Morgan Wallen's albums are so big and packed with hit songs that they've become constant fixtures in the highest reaches of the Top Streaming Albums chart in the United States. The country singer-songwriter regularly claims several spaces inside that competitive region, just as he does this frame with his three most recent projects. If I Know Me, the album that started it all for Wallen, has never climbed quite as high as its successors, but this is a very special week for that introductory project. If I Know Me Reaches a New Chart Peak If I Know Me rises five spaces on the current edition of the Top Streaming Albums chart. Wallen's first studio effort jumps from No. 38 to No. 33, and in doing so, it reaches a new peak position on the tally, which ranks the most-played projects on sites like Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and others in every tracking period. Morgan Wallen's Longest-Charting Streaming Wins If I Know Me debuted on the Top Streaming Albums list in October 2023, alongside both Dangerous: The Double Album and One Thing at a Time. Unlike those sets, however, If I Know Me has not remained on the ranking since then, as it has now racked up just 21 stays on the streaming-only tally. Both Dangerous and One Thing at a Time have managed 91 frames on the ranking so far. Three Top 10s on the Top Streaming Albums List Wallen has sent both of those studio efforts, as well as his latest blockbuster I'm the Problem, into the top five on the Top Streaming Albums chart. One Thing at a Time and I'm the Problem have each spent months at No. 1, while Dangerous stalled at fourth place. Currently, Wallen occupies three spaces inside the top streaming albums chart's top 10. I'm the Problem holds at No. 1, as it has now spent all eight of its weeks on the tally in the top spot. One Thing at a Time climbs a single rung to No. 3, while Dangerous holds steady at No. 7. If I Know Me Rises on Multiple Billboard Charts If I Know Me is also climbing on all three Billboard charts where it makes a home, even though consumption is slightly down. The collection moved just over 15,800 equivalent units in the latest span (per Luminate), a dip from 16,000 the week prior. That doesn't stop If I Know Me from lifting from No. 10 to No. 8 on the Top Country Albums tally, and from No. 49 to No. 41 on the Billboard 200.

Nickelback Hits A New Career High As America Can't Stop Listening

Nickelback's The Best of Nickelback: Volume 1 hits new peaks on multiple Billboard charts, surging ... More on both the Top Rock Albums and Top Streaming Albums lists. TORONTO, ONTARIO - SEPTEMBER 08: (L-R) Mike Kroeger, Chad Kroeger, Daniel Adair and Ryan Peake of Nickelback attend the "Hate to Love: Nickelback" premiere at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival at Roy Thomson Hall on September 08, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario. (Photo by Isaiah Trickey/FilmMagic) Nickelback gets teased a lot as a band, as the group's name has become synonymous with a past era in music — but that doesn't mean the rock outfit isn't still hugely successful. The group has produced enough massive rock hits that The Best of Nickelback: Volume 1 continues to thrive on the Billboard charts frame after frame. This week, the compilation climbs on every tally on which it appears, and the rockers even reach new peaks on multiple lists at the same time. The Best of Nickelback hits a new lifetime high point on both the Top Rock Albums and Top Streaming Albums charts this week. It ascends from No. 9 to No. 6 on the former, which tracks the most consumed rock releases in the U.S. The project lands in that position 237 weeks into its tenure on the ranking, which is remarkable, as it's not common for a set to reach new highs after so many years on one list. The compilation is also gaining ground on platforms like Spotify, which fuels its jump into the top 40 on the Top Streaming Albums chart. On that tally, The Best of Nickelback pushes to No. 38, which also marks a new best placement. The collection has only spent nine weeks on Billboard's ranking of the most streamed albums in the U.S., regardless of genre. While Nickelback's compilation currently rises higher than ever before, it still stands as the band's lowest-peaking title on the Top Rock Albums chart. The group has scored four No. 1s, and two additional top fives. The Best of Nickelback does claim the honor of being the Canadian outfit's longest-running win, though, by 100 weeks. The group does score a new career-best placement on the Top Streaming Albums chart this frame, as The Best of Nickelback is the only project from the band to appear on that tally. The Best of Nickelback also returns to its previously-set high on both the Top Alternative Albums and Top Rock & Alternative Albums charts at the same time it reaches higher than ever on the previous two rosters. This frame, the collection ascends to Nos. 4 and 7 on those rankings, respectively. The same hit-packed project, which was released in 2013 and features smashes like "How You Remind Me," "Rockstar," and "Someday," nearly reconquers the Top Hard Rock Albums chart, but instead, it holds at No. 2. It also lifts one spot to No. 48 on the Billboard 200, as it approaches 250 weeks on that all-encompassing tally of the most consumed albums of any length, language, or style in the U.S.

Miley Cyrus Scores A Career First With Her New Album

Something Beautiful gives Miley Cyrus her first entry on the Top Streaming Albums chart as it opens ... More as one of the 40-most-streamed titles in the United States. NEW YORK, NEW YORK - MAY 06: Miley Cyrus attends An Evening with Miley Cyrus Presented by Spotify at The Metrograph on May 06, 2025 in New York City. (Photo by Kevin Mazur/for Spotify) Miley Cyrus's new album Something Beautiful was one of the most highly-anticipated releases of 2025, and this week, it hits charts around the world as millions of fans were quick to purchase and stream the set, making it a global success. The title launches inside the top 10 on a variety of Billboard rankings upon its arrival, and while it misses the loftiest tier on one roster, the fact that it debuts at all is meaningful for Cyrus. Something Beautiful opens at No. 32 on the Top Streaming Albums chart. The newly-released project earns Cyrus her first placement on Billboard's ranking of the most successful full-lengths and EPs on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and others. The tally is still relatively new, so it's not entirely surprising that the Grammy winner is only now collecting her first appearance. What is somewhat surprising is that Cyrus doesn't manage the top debut on the current edition of the Top Streaming Albums chart. That honor goes to Leon Thomas, who starts his full-length Mutt at No. 31, just one space above Something Beautiful. These two titles are the only debuts this time around. Something Beautiful performs much better when it comes to pure purchases than streams. The title opens at No. 2 on the Top Album Sales chart, landing behind only K-pop group Seventeen. Luminate reports that in its first tracking period, the Cyrus project sold 27,000 copies. A sizable number of purchases on wax propels Something Beautiful to No. 1 on the Vinyl Albums chart, where it becomes Cyrus's third career winner. Cyrus kicks off her time on the Billboard 200 at No. 4, where Something Beautiful opens on that tally compiled using total consumption, not just sales. The latest from the former Disney star launches with 44,300 equivalent units.

Fleetwood Mac Reaches A New Career High Point with 'Rumours'

Fleetwood Mac's Rumours hits a new high on the Top Streaming Albums chart, earning the group a new ... More best showing on the list. HOLLYWOOD - SEPTEMBER 18: Members of Fleetwood Mac from left: John McVie, Stevie Nicks, Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie and Lindsey Buckingham on the SECOND ANNUAL ROCK MUSIC AWARDS. Image dated September 18, 1976. (Photo by CBS via Getty Images) Fleetwood Mac's Rumours will never not be famous (borrowing some internet lingo there). The masterpiece remains one of the most commercially-beloved and critically-adored titles of all time. The pop-rock band's hit-laden collection is one of a number of releases that has earned a constant presence on the Billboard charts, but this is an especially busy week for the project. As the album rises on multiple lists, it climbs higher than ever on one in particular, proving that there's still an insatiable desire among fans to revisit the singles that turned it into a behemoth in the first place. Billboard only introduced the Top Streaming Albums chart a relatively short time ago, so classic releases and superstar musicians regularly reach new peaks as listeners turn to past favorites — sometimes turning them into streaming successes for the first time. This week, Rumours jumps 15 spaces on the Top Streaming Albums ranking, leaping from No. 49 to No. 34. That's a new high point for the full-length, and since it's the only title from Fleetwood Mac to ever appear on this tally, the band reaches a new peak as well. As it rockets up the streaming-only ranking, Rumours also climbs on four other Billboard charts, though its ascent is less dramatic. The title nears the summit once again on both the Top Rock Albums and Top Rock & Alternative Albums rosters, settling at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively. At the same time, it also returns to the top 10 on the Top Album Sales chart, which focuses on the bestselling releases in the U.S., combining digital and physical purchases. Rumours jumps from No. 36 to No. 9 in that case. The collection is also rising on the Billboard 200, stepping up five spaces to No. 25. Luminate reports that in the past tracking week, Rumours sold 4,400 copies — enough to make it one of the top 10 bestselling releases in the country. A large number of those must have been on wax, as the collection reenters the Vinyl Albums chart at No. 7. It's the only list where the project had to return, since last week the chart was flooded with Record Store Day exclusives, which have now mostly disappeared. As Rumours climbs the Top Streaming Albums list and reaches a new peak, one tune stands out. 'Dreams' is one of Fleetwood Mac's most beloved cuts, and a streaming favorite to this day. The track lifts to No. 42 on the all-genre, all-style, all-language Streaming Songs chart. It also inches back into the top five on the Rock Streaming Songs ranking, pushing from No. 6 to No. 4.
