The man had been betting with the same set of digits for the past three years since first meeting his girlfriend, STM Lottery Sdn Bhd said in a press release. 'I always play Lotto games with this winning set of numbers – 4, 8, 11, 18, 20 and 29 – and I would buy eight draws in advance. I combined our IC numbers and the personal connection has made the win feel even more surreal,' he said. The elated winner said he could not sleep the night before collecting his winnings at STM Lottery's office, and that he had yet to tell anyone that he was now a multi-millionaire. 'Lucky number' incense helps Johor man win RM10.38mil Toto jackpot
KUALA LUMPUR: Combining his identity card number with that obtained from a lucky number incense helped a Johor banker win the RM10.38 million Toto 4D Jackpot last Sunday. The 49-year-old said he had gone to a temple to make offerings on Wesak Day. He said that at the same time, he also bought a lucky number incense, which when burnt would display several "lucky numbers" "So I bet on the lucky numbers, combined with my identity card numbers, to form the pair of winning numbers – '3866 and 5899'. "I bet on the same pair of numbers for six draws and they actually helped me to win the jackpot," he said. Despite becoming a multi-millionaire, he said he would continue to work. However, he said he planned to spend his winnings on travelling the world with his wife. The May 31 draw saw 110 winners from Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Sarawak share RM28,069,403 in winnings from the total RM34,511,559 Toto 4D Jackpot 1 with i-System tickets.

Banker banks over RM10mil from Toto 4D jackpot
PETALING JAYA: A banker from Johor has won RM10.38mil in the Toto 4D Jackpot on June 8. The 49-year-old said his win was literally a godsend as he got one of the winning numbers at a temple during Wesak Day celebrations. "I bought a lucky numbers incense stick, which displays numbers when burned," he said. "I combined this with my identity card number to form the winning pair – 3866 and 5899. "I bet on the same pair of numbers for six draws and they helped me to win the jackpot!" he said when collecting his winnings at STM Lottery head office in Kuala Lumpur. Even though he is now a multi-millionaire, he said he would continue working but has plans to travel around the world with his wife According to STM Lottery Sdn. Bhd, the winner bought a System 4 ticket which won him a whopping RM10,382,079.25 and another RM672 as System Play bonus.
