Can't afford that V-Class? Ford enters luxury van space with Tourneo Sport and Titanium X
Ford South Africa has added some luxury and spice to its Tourneo Custom passenger van range with the introduction of the Sport and Titanium X models.
These slot above the existing Tourneo Custom Active and Trend long-wheelbase models, which are priced at R1,063,000 and R1,104,500 respectively. Expect to pay R1,218,000 for the new Sport model and R1,264,000 for the Titanium X.
The two new models are both built on the short-wheelbase platform, and seat eight occupants.
Power comes from the familiar 2.0-litre single-turbo diesel engine, which delivers 125kW and 390Nm, an increase over the 100kW and 360Nm offered by the Active and Trend versions. It drives the front wheels through an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
