The couple married in a lavish ceremony in 2022 under happier times, with all of 26-year-old Brooklyn's family present and correct at the nuptials. But soon after, rumours began to emerge of a rift between the couple and his famous parents; the former footballer David Beckham, 50, and former Spice Girls singer Victoria Beckham, 51. More recently, family dramas reached a new peak as speculation erupted that Brooklyn and Nicola, 30, had fallen out with his brothers Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20 - while many fans noticed the couple seemingly snubbed David's 50th birthday celebrations. While the dramatic fallout continues to generate headlines, some fans have questioned how Nicola gets on with her other in-laws. As the daughter of billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz, 83, and his model wife Claudia Heffner Peltz, 70, the Transformer star is one of eight siblings. She is the sister of brothers Matthew, 40, Will, 39, Brad, 35, Diesel, 27, twins Zachary and Gregory, 22, and a sister named Brittany, 31. With her brothers and sister also enjoying high-profile romances, it is claimed that Nicola gets along much better with her side of the family than with the Beckham clan. Zach Peltz and girlfriend Aislinn Carnes Nicola's youngest brothers are twins Zach and Gregory and while they are professional ice hockey players, they generally keep themselves out of the spotlight. However, some details of Zach's private life - and his closeness to Nicola - have been revealed. He is in a loving romance with Instagram model Aislinn - with the pair occasionally posting loved-up snaps together. The pair shared a photo of their NYE kiss in 2023 and another snap showed them with their arms around each other. Their posts draw attention from the Peltz family who like the snaps and offer rare comments. In one post shared at Thanksgiving, Nicola responded with a string of heart eyed emojis to a photo of her brother and his girlfriend snuggled together. Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reports: "Brooklyn is fond of Zach and Aislinn as the four have previously spent time together in fun-filled images." Bradley Peltz and former flame Selena Gomez Fans looking for proof that Nicola is able to balance her family loyalties with close friendships - the evidence they seek is in her continued friendship with pop singer and actress Selena Gomez. While the Only Murders In The Building star is now engaged to music producer Benny Blanco, she was previously linked to former ice hockey player Bradley, 35. Brooklyn is also close to Selena, and the trio has been known to spend time together socially. Selena even celebrated Thanksgiving with Brooklyn and Nicola one year, with fans noting that Brad was also present at the celebrations. The Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast previously delved into the speculation about Selena and Brad back when rumours of a romance were ablaze. Selena began her relationship with Benny in 2023 and became engaged at the end of last year. Nicola and Selena also follow each other on Instagram. Matthew Peltz and Hallie Dunn Nicola's oldest brother, Matthew, has been married to his wife, Hallie Dunn, since 2018, and the couple welcomed a son in 2020. The couple keep themselves largely out of the spotlight, but it is believed Nicola is close to them and loves being an aunt to toddler nephew Asher Lion. Nicola shared a social media snap about the growing family not long after Asher arrived, in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. While Nicola and Brooklyn wished his sister Harper Seven Beckham a happy birthday earlier this month, it has been noticed that they have unfollowed Cruz and Romeo, fuelling speculation that the rift between the family members may be terminal.

TNB ToU scheme helps Malaysians save on electricity bills
KUALA LUMPUR: Domestic and non-domestic low-voltage consumers with smart meters can now take advantage of the Time of Use (ToU) scheme for smarter energy management. The initiative, introduced by Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), allows users to adjust their electricity consumption to off-peak hours for cost savings. The ToU scheme is available for customers with smart meters, Current Transformer (CT) Operated Meters, or Remote Meter Reading (RMR) systems. By scheduling high-energy activities like laundry, air conditioning, or electric vehicle charging during off-peak periods, consumers can lower their monthly bills. 'With the option to schedule electricity usage during cheaper off-peak hours, consumers can now proactively reduce their monthly bills without compromising comfort,' said TNB. The revised ToU scheme includes extended off-peak periods—all day on weekends and from 10 pm to 2 pm on weekdays. Peak hours are from 2 pm to 10 pm, Monday to Friday. For example, off-peak rates for usage below 1,500 kWh are set at 24.43 sen/kWh, while peak rates are 28.52 sen/kWh for ToU users, compared to 27.03 sen/kWh for standard domestic consumers. To help estimate savings, TNB provides an online Electricity Bill Calculator on the myTNB portal. Consumers can compare tariffs before switching. Applications for the ToU scheme open on July 1, 2025, via email (tnbtou@ or at Kedai Tenaga outlets. Online applications will be available from August 1, 2025. Red alert: Four district administrations closed schools in HP
Shimla, June 30 (UNI) The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a red alert warning for heavy to very heavy rain in four districts of Himachal Pradesh, including Solan, Sirmour, Mandi and Kangra districts. According to a media report and a notification issued by Mandi district administration, all schools would remain closed in red alert-affected districts today. Four districts have had incessant rainfall since last night, and water supply, roads, communication and transport are paralysed in these districts. After keeping sluggish vehicular movement on the Shimla-Kalka road was restored at Chakimorh near Dharmpar in Solan district. Water levels in Parvati-II and III Dam, the Larji project in Kullu district, and the Sainj project are affected by heavy rains and silt. Power project affected operation in the 1400 to 1500 megawatt project yesterday. The water gate of Pandoh Dam in Mandi district was opened yesterday. A red alert was sounded to people living on the banks of the Satluj and Beas Rivers due to the discharge of extra water from the spillover of some dams. The State Disaster Response Centre is issuing warnings of water levels in some of the dams and issuing orange and yellow alerts along the river system in the above dams. Students and people shouldn't go near the water bodies, as it could cause an unpleasant mishap due to a sudden rise in the water level. "Due to high silt levels, the plants marked in orange have shut down as a precautionary measure on Sainj Birage." Similarly, increasing silt levels in Parveeti II and III are being kept under orange alert. People living downstream of others dam embankments are advised to stay safe; however, current pond levels of all dams are being kept within the permissible operational limits. Raising the water level of some of the local rivulets and streams or draining water are overflowing due to incessant rain, posing a challenge to some of the houses in Shimla town. Moreover, temporary sheds along highways, houses built along water streams near the banks of rivulets, and the increasing discharge of water due to heavy rain and choking of some streams in flash flood-affected areas are being washed away and hit by the strong flow of water. State registered around the loss of 40 lives in just ten days of this monsoon season; however, a couple of bodies are untraced in Lullu and Kangra districts. Two people are missing in the Kullu cloudburst mishap and one in flash flood incidents in Kangra district. In the last 24 hrs, around 129 roads are affected by heavy rainfall. 57 in Sirmour district, 44 in Mandi and 19 in Kullu. Power supply was also affected in 612 Distribution Transformer Regions, including 340 in Mandi, 140 in Lahaul Spiti and 92 DTR in Solan. Water lifting schemes are not working due to disruption in power supply in many schemes and increasing turbidity of the water schemes in the state. State witnessing continued rain and flash floods since June 26 also affected the movement of people due to the stranding of vehicles at several places. Case in point, engineer James Bruton, who actually built a rideable Transformer that can switch between a small drivable car and a towering six-foot humanoid robot.
