Here is what you can expect from the 2025 Barrie Airshow
Here is the schedule for the 2025 Barrie Airshow Aircrafts will be on full display this weekend as the 2025 Barrie Airshow takes over the Barrie skyline. Kicking off the festivities over the weekend is Muskoka Extreme Water Show around 12:00 p.m. on Kempenfelt Bay by Heritage Park. Starting at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, the airshow is expected to begin and has a wide range of aircrafts participating. The list of 2025 civilian performers include: Northern Stars, three-plane precision aerobatic team flying the Pitts Special Timmerman's Legends of Flight P-51 Mustang and Vought FG-1D Corsair Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association featuring a four-plane demonstration Edenvale Classic Aircraft Foundation featuring a Tiger Moth and a PT-26 Cornell T-33 Red Knight brought to you by RCAF 441 (Huronia) Wing and Rudy Mak Surveying Solo aerobatic pilot Trevor Rafferty flying the Pitts Model 12 Show Cat Wing Walking featuring Mike & Sam Trygvasson brought to you by the Downtown Barrie BIA The list of military performers include: CF-18 Tactical Demonstration Team Canadian Armed Forces Skyhawks Parachute Team CH-146 Griffon helicopter demonstration from the 400 Tactical Helicopter Squadron. Open Air Dunlop kicks off their summer season as well featuring a variety of activates in downtown Barrie including the air show ground display at Heritage Park, Meridian Place and Dunlop Street.

Barrie Airshow takes off with dazzling new performers
The Barrie Airshow returns this June with a thrilling lineup of aerial performances and community festivities. While the Canadian Forces Snowbirds absence marks the end of an era for many fans, on Friday afternoon, the city released a mix of new military and talent. Event-goers can expect to see the Canadian Armed Forces SkyHawks Parachute Team. Adding to the military presence is the CH-146 Griffon helicopter from the 400 Tactical Helicopter Squadron. June 14, 2024 (Chris Garry/CTV News Barrie). The airshow starts Fri., June 6, followed by back-to-back airshows on Saturday and Sunday. This year's event will kick-off with the Muskoka Extreme water ski show beginning at 12 p.m. followed by the opening address and air display, each day. Last year's festivities drew nearly 140,000 people who filled the waterfront parks and flooded the downtown core. The event contributed over $11 million to Barrie's local economy, according to the city.
