Turkey: 25 Irregular Migrants Rescued Off the Coast of Antalya - Jordan News
Turkish authorities announced last night the rescue of 25 irregular migrants, including 13 children, off the coast of the "Kaş" district in Antalya province (southern Turkey) along the Mediterranean Sea. اضافة اعلان According to the Turkish Anadolu Agency, the Turkish Coast Guard Command stated in a statement that its crews found the body of a migrant during the rescue operation. The migrants were aboard a rubber boat that was swept into the sea due to a malfunction in the engine. The number of irregular migrants taking the land or sea routes in hopes of reaching European countries has been increasing along the Turkish-Bulgarian and Turkish-Greek borders, as well as some Turkish beaches.
