Turkish CPI for clothing-footwear up 14.47% YoY in Jun 2025

It increased by 16.67 per cent on the December 2024 figure, and on a twelve-months moving averages basis, it rose by 43.23 per cent in the month. The country's producer price index (PPI) increased by 24.45 per cent YoY and 2.46 per cent MoM in June. The PPI for manufacturing increased by 23.79 per cent YoY in June. Turkiye's clothing & footwear CPI up 16.92% YoY, 5.5% MoM in Apr 2025
Pic: Shutterstock Turkiye's general consumer price index (CPI) increased by 3 per cent month on month (MoM) and by 37.86 per cent year on year (YoY) in April this year, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (Turkstat). It increased by 13.36 per cent over the December 2024 figure and by 48.73 per cent on the twelve-months moving averages basis in the month. The clothing and footwear CPI increased by 16.92 per cent YoY and by 5.5 per cent MoM in the month, a Turkstat release said. The transportation CPI increased by 22.76 per cent YoY and by 3.8 per cent MoM in the month. Turkiye's general consumer price index (CPI) increased by 3 per cent month on month (MoM) and by 37.86 per cent YoY in April, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute. The clothing and footwear CPI increased by 16.92 per cent YoY and by 5.5 per cent MoM in the month. The transportation CPI increased by 22.76 per cent YoY and by 3.8 per cent MoM in the month. Excluding unprocessed food, energy, alcoholic beverages, tobacco and gold, CPI increased by 3.10 per cent MoM and by 36.81 per cent in April.
