Review: Cosori Dual Blaze Twinfry 10 Litre Air Fryer brings you the best of both worlds
It's been a few years since the UK went air fryer crazy and now they are commonplace in kitchens all over the country. However, you might well now be looking at the fryer you got in a rush when energy prices soared and thinking it might be time to upgrade. We've had two Cosori air fryers down the years and both were really solid devices, although neither met quite what we needed for a family of four. First off, we had a single air fryer which was great but only cooked one thing at a time. We then had a twin air fryer which solved that problem but the actual individual cooking spaces were smaller. And now we were lucky enough to try out the Cosori Dual Blaze Twinfry 10 Litre Air Fryer which promises the best of both worlds. It's a twin fryer that you can easily toggle between two compartments and one large cooking space. Perfect. The Twinfry is at the top of the Cosori range and is priced accordingly but you should be able to get a decent deal at the moment. Looks-wise, it's the usual dark grey/black from Cosori but the form factor is sleeker. All the controls and readouts you need are on the top, although there is more than one way to skin that particular rabbit. You get one large basket that can be split into two using a silicone provider. Another selling point is that there are elements top and bottom, which means better cooking consistency and lets you get on with something else while your food cooks. The usual sync and match functions further simplify the cooking process, allowing you to synchronise cooking times between the two chambers or replicate favourite settings with ease. As well as air frying, you can also roast, bake, grill, reheat, and dry your meals so there is plenty of functionality at your fingertips. A first for any Cosori I've tried you can also control the air fryer via a mobile app. You can even set time and temperature, and it comes with a bunch of built-in recipes which we found extremely useful. We didn't run into any problems with the usual chicken bites, fries and sausages we normally rustle up during the week, but what we really wanted to try - now we had the space - was to cook up an entire roasty chicken (with a few veggies thrown in). I'm happy to report we managed it, and the results were excellent. I'm now thinking we're close to retiring the cooker altogether! Cleaning the basket and divider is very simple, but do keep in mind that because it's so large you might have an issue if you have a little sink. All in all, we'd heartedly reccommend the Twinfry to anyone who has many mouths to feed. it's a great mix of flexibility, ease-of-use and practicality. What users say "Easy to use, love the quality, requires little to no oil at all depending on the food. Looks great and takes up such a small amount of room with vents pointing up rather straight to the wall behind. Barely costs any energy to make a meal." "This is a great product. Had Corsair air fryer before this one and I thought that was good but this is even better. With the division it enables you to cook different foods at the same time at various timings"
