Doechii and Tyler, the Creator Song ‘Get Right' Debuts at Louis Vuitton Fashion Show
A new Doechii and Tyler, the Creator song is on the way. On Tuesday, during Louis Vuitton's fashion show, a new track by the rap pair, titled 'Get Right,' played publicly for the very first time — and it might be a Song of the Summer contender. The upbeat new track, which Complex reports is produced by Pharrell, played as the models walked down the elongated runway, showing off the 2026 Summer/Spring show at Place Georges-Pompidou in Paris. Doechii's vocals took over the song for the first two minutes before Tyler swooped in near the end of the track. Cardi B Is Feisty and Ready for Summer on 'Outside' 'Get Right' marks the second time the stars collaborated after they paired on 'Balloon' from Tyler's 2024 album, Chromakopia. The pair performed the song during Camp Flog Gnaw last November and at his Los Angeles show in February. 'Genius, love her. That girl's an alien. She's an alien,' Tyler told Narduwar in March when speaking about Doechii. 'I came across Doechii on something that YouTube recommended. It was the 'Catfish' record or 'Nissan Altima.' I was like, 'What is this? Damn, this girl pretty as hell.' And I clicked it and I was blown away and I just kept going.' The new track may be a taste of new music expected from both artists this year: Tyler is currently on a headlining festival run celebrating his 2024 album Chromakopia, while Doechii last joined The Weeknd on a remix of 'Timeless,' after dropping an extended version of her Grammy-winning album Alligator Bites Never Heal earlier this year. Manitoba senior loses $2M in crypto scam
The Manitoba Securities Commission issued a public warning Wednesday after a senior lost $2 million in an apparent crypto scam. The victim lost their life savings after investing with a fake company called Fargo Investor. Investigators working for the securities commission believe other people might have been targeted by the fraudsters, the commission said in a news release. The commission is tracking an increase in investment scams, in which criminals use artificial intelligence to create realistic-looking websites for false investment platforms to draw victims in. After someone signs up, the criminals pressure them to invest about $300 and then show them fabricated profits to build their trust. 'These ruthless scammers could spend years trying to drain someone's bank account — so it's important to learn and practice fraud-detection skills to better protect yourself and your money online,' Tyler Ritchie, market surveillance investigator with the commission, said in the release. 'Don't be embarrassed if you believed a scam – you're not alone. Doctors, lawyers and accountants have invested in these sophisticated frauds, too.' The commission urged the public to 'adopt a critical eye' and look closely at advertisements and websites for signs of fraud, including poor English, spelling mistakes and videos or photos that 'feel unsettling or slightly off.' Inconsistencies in a website's content or email addresses that don't match the website's address can signal a scam. Other red flags include endorsements from celebrities or politicians, seemingly sharing their 'investment secrets,' the release said. Investors should always check if the broker or firm they are dealing with are listed on before transferring funds, the release said. The commission is asking anybody who has been approached by Fargo Investor, or who has information about potential fraud, to call 1-855-372-8362 or email complaintsmsc@ Tyler SearleReporter Tyler Searle is a multimedia producer who writes for the Free Press's city desk. No, Tyler, The Creator Doesn't Want To Hear Your Podcast
Source: VALERIE MACON / Getty Tyler, the Creator wants to round up all the podcast mics and put them in the trash. Okay, maybe not all of them, but in a recent interview with The Cut , the Odd Future founder believes the market is oversaturated and that the medium isn't for everyone. 'I think we give a lot of people who aren't smart and just want attention platforms to be loud and incorrect, and other stupid people follow them,' Tyler told The Cut. 'Where are the people with skills? We need electricians, we need more drummers, painters, teachers. Everybody with a mic is crazy. I just think that sh-t is gross.' Tyler acknowledged that there are several podcasters who are doing a great job, like 'Deante Kyle is sick, and The Cutting Room Floor is sick. Those are two podcasts that are in the right direction.' This isn't the first time Tyler has expressed his disdain for the accessibility folks have to podcast mics. Just last year, he told Billboard , 'If I was president, the first thing I would do is take podcast mics away from n-ggas.' And it's not just the podcast mics that have earned the ire of the 'Sticky' rapper; he also believes that social media can oftentimes ruin a good thing. 'Love gatekeeping. Everything is not for everyone, and that's okay. People have to stop wanting to be invited into everything; it's okay to not be into something, bro. It's cool, it's chill,' he said. Still, when it comes to his own medium of music, he doesn't think it's beneficial to keep your tastes under wraps. He continues: 'Gatekeeping music is a little weird, but when it comes to companies, restaurants, and clothing — like certain restaurants that some people really love can get f-cked up because someone makes a TikTok and now everything is sold out. This small thing they loved and enjoyed is no longer available for them to enjoy because everyone wants in on this new thing to feel like they're part of something. That's when I'm like, no, f-ck that, gatekeep your restaurant. When people are like, Where'd you get that from? We good. ID on Tyler's so-and-so? No, we good. Let me have my thing; you might not look that fire in it.' See how soical media is reacting to Tyler's comments below.
