4 hit by car after ‘large fight' in Northwest Portland early Friday
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Four people were hit by a car after a large fight in Northwest Portland early Friday morning, authorities said.
According to Portland police, officers responded to a 'large fight involving numerous people' near the intersection of Northwest 4th Avenue and Couch Street at around 2 a.m. where there were around 100 people in the street, although not all of them were involved in the fight.
Officers said they broke up the fight and while people were walking away from the scene, a car ran a stop sign, hitting four people.

Police officers who were still in the area immediately approached the car and arrested the driver under suspicion of DUII.
Medical officials responded to the scene to treat the victims, none of whom sustained life-threatening injuries. However, there were concussions, a broken arm, as well as a laceration to the head.
The suspect, Tyler William Miller, 32, was booked on charges including driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving, two counts of third-degree assault and 15 counts of recklessly endangering another person.
