Al Ajil visits Sharjah Sports Summer events at Al Bataeh Club

During the visit, Al Ajil was greeted by Mohammed Abdullah Al Ketbi, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Bataeh Club, Abdullah Sultan bin Saloma Al Ketbi, who heads the Sharjah Sports Summer Program, along with various officials and organizers. The delegation took a tour of the club, exploring the key programs and activities offered as part of the Sharjah Sports Summer. The Artificial Intelligence workshop received special praise from Al Ajil for its role in helping young people develop valuable skills and connect with modern technology. Al Ajil participated in part of the workshop, interacting with attendees about the importance of artificial intelligence and how it can shape the future of our communities. He expressed his admiration for the high level of organization and the informative content provided to the youth, emphasizing how these initiatives support the UAE's goals in innovation and technology. At the end of the visit, a partnership agreement was signed between Al Bataeh Cultural and Sports Club and the UAE Sports for All Federation. This agreement aims to promote joint community sports events, share expertise, and develop training programs to benefit various groups within society.

Sharjah's Al Zahia Run features three Emirati champions

The event was attended by Saeed Al Ajil, Vice President of the UAE Sports for All Federation; Bakhit Saeed Al Qars, Director of the Sports and Community Events Department; Yousef Al Hosani, Head of Event Planning and Implementation Section at the Sharjah Sports Council; and Lina Hamed from the mall's Marketing Department, who all presented the awards to the winners. In the 8 km race for Emirati men, Hamid Al Mualla came in first place, followed by Obaid Al Nuaimi in second, and Ammar Ali in third. For Emirati women, Afra Al Abdullah secured first place, followed by Eman Al Shamsi in second. Yasser Bakhit won first place in the men's open category, followed by Peter Campbell in second and Alwaleed Bidi in third. In the women's open category, Nancy Oyetty took first place, followed by Anita Nusura and Lara Barrow in second and third, respectively. In the 4 km race for Emirati men, Saif Al Alawi won first place, followed by Obaid Al Hammoudi in second and Khalid Al Abdouli in third. For Emirati women, Reem Al Eidrous came in first, Amal Al Kaabi second, and Al Ghalla Al Shehhi third. In the open men's category, Geoffrey Kiplagat secured first place, followed by Victor Korir in second and Raihan Syed in third. Among the women, Agnes Njohi won first place, with Jane Njira and Kira Avariella taking second and third. In the 800-metre children's race, Hamid Al Hammadi won first place, followed by Obaid Al Ketbi in second and Luca Jalloul in third. In the girls' category, Maryam Badr took first place, followed by Judy Mahmoud in second and Rowayda Syed in third.

Al Hamriyah Ramadan Village honours partners and collaborators

The occasion was attended by Hamid Al Shamsi, Chairman of the club's board of directors, as well as Ahmed Rashid Al Shamsi and Rashid Ghanem Al Shamsi, members of the Sharjah Consultative Council. Members of the club's board of directors were also in attendance, including Ahmed Saeed Al Muhairi, a member of the Al Hamriyah Municipal Council; Saeed Al Ajeel, Vice President of the UAE Sports for All Federation; and Ahmed bin Handhal, a Sharjah Classic Cars Club board member. The chairman thanked the organising committee for successfully managing the second edition of the village and its associated events, which included workshops, religious and intellectual lectures, and sporting and entertainment competitions. He also thanked the success partners, collaborating entities, and workshop speakers, emphasising their critical roles in Ramadan Village's success as well as the local community members whose continued attendance enhanced the event. The ceremony ended with the recognition of partners, collaborators, and workshop presenters, as well as the organising committee.
