The Morning Show Season 4: Release date, cast updates and what to expect next

By Aman Shukla Published on July 10, 2025, 17:30 IST Last updated July 10, 2025, 11:36 IST Alright, The Morning Show fans, buckle up! Season 4 of Apple TV+'s drama-packed series is almost here, and it's shaping up to be another wild ride in the UBA newsroom. If you're as hooked as I am on the juicy mix of newsroom chaos, stellar acting, and real-world vibes, you're probably dying to know what's next for Alex, Bradley, and the gang. So, let's dive into everything we've got on the release date, cast updates and what to expect from Season 4. Grab your coffee, and let's get into it! Release Date: When Will Season 4 Premiere? Mark your calendars: The Morning Show Season 4 hits Apple TV+ on September 17, 2025. We're getting 10 episodes, rolling out every Wednesday until November 19, 2025. That's right, it's sticking to the fall release pattern we've seen with Seasons 1 (2019), 2 (2021), and 3 (2023). They started filming back in July 2024 and wrapped up in December, so the team's had plenty of time to make this season as glossy and dramatic as ever. I'm already counting down the days! Cast Updates: Who's Returning and Who's New? The core cast of The Morning Show is set to return, with some exciting new additions and a notable departure. Here's a breakdown of the confirmed cast for Season 4: Returning Cast Jennifer Aniston as Alex Levy : The seasoned anchor who made a bold power move in Season 3 by orchestrating a merger between UBA and NBN. Aniston, also an executive producer, has teased a 'jam-packed' season. Reese Witherspoon as Bradley Jackson : Bradley's future hangs in the balance after turning herself in to the FBI for covering up her brother's role in the January 6 insurrection. Witherspoon, another executive producer, is eager to explore themes of truth and media. Billy Crudup as Cory Ellison : The charismatic UBA executive, whose Emmy-winning performance continues to captivate audiences. Mark Duplass as Chip Black : Alex's loyal producer, whose relationship with her may be explored further. Greta Lee as Stella Bak : The young executive navigating the corporate chaos at UBA. Karen Pittman as Mia Jordan : A key producer at the network. Nestor Carbonell as Yanko Flores : The beloved meteorologist. Nicole Beharie as Chris Hunter : Though courted by a sports media network in Season 3, her return is confirmed. Jon Hamm as Paul Marks: While his arc seemed to conclude in Season 3, Hamm has hinted at 'unfinished business' with Alex, suggesting a possible return. New Cast Members Season 4 introduces a roster of high-profile newcomers: Jeremy Irons as Martin Levy , Alex's father, adding a family dynamic to the mix. Marion Cotillard as Celine Dumont , a savvy operator hailing from a prominent European family. Aaron Pierre as Miles , an acclaimed visual artist moving in New York's elite circles. William Jackson Harper as Ben , the innovative head of sports at the network. Boyd Holbrook as Brodie , a provocative podcaster and talk show host. Rachel Marsh as Remy , Alex's assistant. John Hoogenakker as Andy, an FBI agent, likely tied to Bradley's legal troubles. Notable Departure Julianna Margulies will not return as Laura Peterson, Bradley's love interest from Seasons 2 and 3. Margulies declined a one-episode appearance, marking the end of Laura and Bradley's romance. These casting changes promise fresh dynamics and conflicts, with heavy hitter like Irons and Cotillard elevating the show's already impressive ensemble. What to Expect from Season 4 The Morning Show Season 4 picks up in spring 2024, nearly two years after the dramatic Season 3 finale. The UBA-NBN merger is now complete, setting the stage for a high-stakes exploration of the newsroom's new responsibilities and challenges. According to the official synopsis, the season will dive into 'the elusive nature of truth in a polarized America,' tackling timely issues like deepfakes, AI, conspiracy theories, and corporate cover-ups.
