The Vancouver Writers Fest (VWF) has announced that Booker Prize-winning author Arundhati Roy will be in Vancouver for a special event on Sept. 17 (7:30 p.m.) at the Vancouver Playhouse. A prominent political and environmental activist Roy's work has been recognized with the PEN Pinter Prize, and she was named to Time's 100 most influential people list in 2014.
