Book Buggy: Valley Center school program unveils mobile library
VALLEY CENTER, Kan. (KSNW) – A Valley Center school program unveiled a mobile library on Tuesday, called the 'Book Buggy.' The Book Buggy is a bus that brings books directly to children and families throughout the community. Local automotive teacher empowers young women with skills and knowledge 'The Book Buggy is part of the district's broader commitment to early education, family engagement, and resource accessibility for all Hornet families,' USD 262 said. 'This innovative project aims to boost literacy and a love of reading by removing barriers and providing families with easy access to books and educational resources.' Valley Center USD 262's Parents as Teachers program unveiled the Book Buggy at a ribbon-cutting event on Tuesday.
