Uzumaki clan in Naruto Shippuden produced some of the greatest Shinobis: Here's a brief history
Uzumaki clan in Naruto
Naruto Shippuden
introduced some of the most dangerous and powerful clans like the Uchihas, Senjus, Sarutobis, and Uzumaki. And today, we will focus on the clan of Naruto, the Uzumaki clan, which was a great ally of Konohagakure. One of the most important points here is that the
Uzumaki clan
is a distant relative of the Senjus (yes, Hashirama and Naruto are connected in that way). The clan was immensely popular for their
Funjutsu
or you can say the sealing techniques. Let's take a deep dive in the history and prominent members of one of the most powerful clans of Naruto Shippuden.
Uzumaki clan in Naruto Shippuden - History, members, and more
The Uzumaki clan has been represented in the show with the spiral red logo, and most of the members of the clan have red hair. The chakra of the clan members is something that can never be questioned, as they can even contain tailed beasts (the prominent examples are Kushina and Naruto).
As for the history, they used to reside in the Land of Whirlpools and served as go-tos for Konoha people who wanted to use sealing techniques. And to strengthen the ties between the two places (Konoha and Land of Whirlpools), the first hokage of Konoha, Hashirama Senju, married Mito Uzumaki. However, they were a big threat to other villages, and this gave birth to a lot of envy. Then, all other villages collaborated and took down the village of Uzumakis. Survivors from the village either left the country or went to Konoha.
Some of the most prominent members of the clan are
Kushina Uzumaki
(mother of Naruto),
Naruto Uzumaki
(our OG protagonist), Mito Uzumaki (the first hokage's wife), Karin Uzumaki (subordinate of Orochimaru), and more.
