Snooky Serna admits she got infatuated with Gabby Concepcion
Snooky Serna admitted that she got infatuated with Gabby Concepcion in her younger years.
The veteran actress made the revelation in "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" Thursday, where she looked back on their original love team and their dynamics now working together anew in GMA Afternoon Prime's "My Father's Wife."
According to Snooky, Gabby never courted her back in the day, but she did get infatuated with him.
"Na-infatuate talaga ako, Tito Boy. Sincere 'yan ah, nakakahiya sinasabi 'to pero totoo. This is not showbiz talk, pag-p-profess na ito ng pagmamahal kay Gabby," she said.
"Kasi 'di ba Tito Boy 'pag bata ka you have crushes. Ang talagang super crush ko si Gabs," she added.
She also said that she did not tell Gabby about her feelings because she was quite conservative then.
"Pero ngayon na para bang nagkaka-edad na, para bang, 'Oh it's now or never' you know? Joke!" she shared, laughing.
Snooky and Gabby starred together in various films in the '80s including "Under-age," "Miracle of Love," "Story of Three Loves," "Hello, Young Lovers," and many more.
During her guesting in "Fast Talk," Snooky noted that her chemistry with Gabby today as onscreen partners is still strong, something that Gabby had also acknowledged.
She added that Gabby is among the most handsome actors of their generation, and she realized this still proves true today.
"Today talagang lalo kong na-p-prove totoo nga talaga 'yung beauty ni Gabby is classic and never fading 'yung beauty niya. It's forever, " she said.
Snooky and Gabby currently star in "My Father's Wife" alongside Kylie Padilla, Kazel Kinouchi, Jak Roberto, and more.
It airs Mondays to Saturdays at 2:30 p.m. on GMA Network.
