Saturday Night's Main Event Live: Seth Rollins suffers from a knee injury, Gunther retains the WWE World Title and More Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre — _WSR_Wrestling_ (@_WSR_Wrestling_) Randy Orton picked up a win over Drew McIntyre in a one on one match, thanks to Jelly Roll. As the match reached its final moments, McIntyre got distracted by Jelly Roll at ringside, giving Orton the perfect opening to hit an RKO and secure the victory. After the match Logan Paul stormed the ring and floored Orton with a right hand, unleashing a series of punches. Jelly Roll quickly entered the ring, pulled Paul off Orton, and retaliated with a massive right hand of his own. However, McIntyre blindsided Jelly Roll with a brutal Claymore Kick and warned him that stepping into the ring made him a target. Late in the match, Jimmy nailed an Uso Splash from the top rope, nearly getting the three-count, but Sikoa kicked out just in time. Sikoa followed up with a Spinning Solo, but Jimmy avoided a Samoan Spike and fired back with a pair of superkicks. Jimmy then launched himself off the ropes to take out Talla, Loa, and Mateo at ringside. As the referee began the ten-count, both competitors made it back to the ring. Jimmy landed a stiff kick to Talla, but Sikoa capitalized, rolling Jimmy up for the pin while Talla held him down from the outside, sealing the controversial win. LA Knight vs Seth Rollins The action kicked off with LA Knight launching a series of strikes in an attempt to take down Rollins. However, 'The Architect' quickly countered and fired back with heavy offense of his own. Rollins even hit a high-impact Frog Splash, but Knight showed resilience by kicking out. Momentum shifted when LA Knight got back on his feet and unleashed some strikes, gaining control. He followed up with his signature flying elbow drop from the top turnbuckle, but Rollins again kicked out, refusing to stay down. Rollins retaliated with a Buckle Bomb and aimed to finish the match with a Curb Stomp, but Knight dodged just in time. Rollins then connected with a Thrust Kick and launched a springboard senton, keeping the pressure on. Knight fought back with a series of right hands, then stunned Rollins with a neckbreaker and a follow-up DDT. Later in the match, Rollins attempted a springboard Moonsault but appeared to injure his knee mid-air. He took a moment to speak with Paul Heyman and the referee as medical staff checked on him. Just as Rollins got back to his feet, Knight capitalized, hitting the BFT out of nowhere and pinning him for the win. Goldberg vs. Gunther WW World Title Match Gunther defeated Goldberg to retain the WWE World Title in a dramatic showdown. Toward the end, Gunther targeted Goldberg's braced knee with a vicious kick, then tore off the brace and taunted Goldberg's son, Gage, by holding it up mockingly. An enraged Gage struck Gunther, but security quickly restrained him. Seizing the moment, Goldberg hit Gunther with a Spear followed by a Jackhammer. As the referee rushed in and Goldberg went for the pin, Gunther narrowly kicked out. Moments later, Gunther locked in a Sleeper Hold, forcing the referee to stop the match and award the victory to the Ring General. WWE fans in awe as 'freakish' star finally debuts after 12-month wait
WWE fans were stunned as a new face made a massive impression at Night of Champions 2025. Former New Japan Pro Wrestling star Hikuleo – who was previously a member of Bullet Club and Guerrillas of Destiny – was reported to have signed with the company back in July 2024. It's been a year since the towering star left NJPW, and 11 months since he was said to have inked his WWE deal. Finally, he reappeared and made his debut during Saturday's Night of Champions event in Saudi Arabia just hours after a historic King of the Ring win for Cody Rhodes. He had a defining role to play in the United States Title match which saw Jacob Fatu putting his gold on the line against Solo Sikoa. After Tonga Loa returned from a seven month injury layoff to turn the tide in Sikoa's favour, the former Bloodline enforcer had another trick up his sleeve with Hikuleo appearing to cost Fatu the title. Taking to X after the match, WWE boss Triple H retweeted a photo of Solo celebrating with his allies and wrote: 'By any means necessary…#WWENOC' It's been a long wait, but now he's joined his for GoD teammates – and real life cousin Loa and brother Tama Tonga – on the WWE main roster. Commentators Michael Cole and Wade Barrett avoided saying Hikuleo's name, which suggests a change in moniker is on the horizon for the newcomer, who stands at 6ft 8ins. However, Preston-born Barrett immediately hyped up the big man, branding him an 'absolute freak', while fans watching on Netflix were in awe of his size. 'Huge surprise with Hikuleo helping Solo! Great twist in the title match. #WWENOC,' raved @LaurenMill62673 on X. 'HIKULEO IS HUGE MY GOD,' shouted @ChefOsco, with plenty of fans stunned by his hulking frame. 'Hikuleo is him! Dude is massive af. #WWENOC,' added @ShinTails77. He's a newcomer to WWE fans, having only recently appeared in so-called dark matches, which are off-air bouts for the live crowd. In his first on June 13, he overcame Pretty Deadly's Kit Wilson, while last week he beat Ryan Matthias before SmackDown. Before joining WWE, he made his name in New Japan, where he became Strong Openweight Tag Team Champion on two occasions with El Phantasmo, while the duo also won the IWPT Tag Team Titles.
