RIDGELAND, Miss. (WJTV) – The 2025 Santé South Wine & Food Festival, held in Ridgeland, offered a night of elegance, good eats and wine. 'The most favorite part for me is probably the food and the wine. The wine is really good. The food from all the different vendors are so amazing. I would definitely recommend for next year,' some attendees said. The fun did not overshadow the overall purpose of Saturday's event. The festival benefits The MIND Center at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) and has helped to raise more than $1.5 million to advance the delivery of Alzheimer's care and support services, educational programming, and research in the state. 'We're here tonight to raise money for the Fred Adams Mind Center and Geriatric Clinic. And it is going to give us a chance to bring all of our services into one place. And so, we'll have our research there. We'll have our clinical care there. And the building is really designed with the needs of older adults in mind, 'said Lee Anne Bryan, director of Philanthropy for The Mind Center. Many said they're looking forward to next year's event.
