Samsung confirms Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 Unpacked event for July 9th in Brooklyn NY
Samsung has officially confirmed that its summer Unpacked event will take place on Wednesday, July 9. As revealed in a new press release, the company will host the launch in Brooklyn, New York, with the keynote kicking off at 10 a.m. Eastern. The July 9 date had been previously rumored, although earlier leaks varied between early and mid-July. The location, however, has remained consistent across reports, with signs pointing to a return to New York for this year's second major Galaxy launch. While Samsung hasn't explicitly mentioned what products will be revealed, all signs point to the debut of its next foldable lineup. This includes the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, which are expected to follow in the footsteps of last year's Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 — with some slight variations in thickness if the rumors turn out to be correct. In the same press release, Samsung teased the unveiling of the "next evolution of Galaxy AI and the ever-expanding Galaxy ecosystem." This suggests that AI will once again be a central focus. According to Samsung, Galaxy AI is meant to turn smartphones into "anticipatory smart companions" that improve how users communicate, create, and stay connected. We're likely to see updated AI features across Samsung's device portfolio, not just limited to foldables. Samsung is also inviting users to reserve the upcoming devices starting now. Those who sign up early on will receive a $50 Samsung credit when they complete their purchase. This offer has become standard practice for Samsung launches and is meant to drive early interest ahead of the full reveal. Samsung invites you to their next Unpacked event in July. | Image credit — Samsung As for pricing, nothing has been officially confirmed. However, a fresh leak today reportedly reveals the European prices for both the Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 . If accurate, the base models could carry similar price tags to their predecessors. U.S. pricing details are still unknown, though many are hoping Samsung keeps the same strategy from last year. The July Unpacked event is expected to set the tone for Samsung's hardware push in the second half of 2025. The company typically uses this summer window to update its foldable offerings and highlight deeper integration across its Galaxy ecosystem, including wearables and tablets. While Galaxy AI will likely dominate the keynote, the hardware still matters. With competitors in the foldable space stepping up their game, all eyes will be on how Samsung plans to maintain its lead — and if it can do so without raising prices. We'll be covering all the announcements from Unpacked, so stay tuned for everything coming out of Brooklyn next month. Secure your connection now at a bargain price! Hall-of-Fame leaker disseminates images of the upcoming Galaxy Watch 8 line
Last month we passed along renders of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic showing off a squircle design similar to last year's Galaxy Watch Ultra model. Today, famed leaker Evan Blass posted images showing the design of the Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and the Galaxy Watch 8 Ultra (2025). All three timepieces seem to share a common look with each model featuring a squircle design. To accommodate the squircle design and a rotating bezel, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic will feature thicker bezels than the other watches in the series. According to Blass, the three watches in the line will be named the Galaxy Watch 8 , Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025). The trio should be unveiled next month during the company's next Unpacked event which will include Sammy's new foldables for 2025. Image of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8. | Image credit-Evan Blass The Galaxy Watch series for 2025 will be running One UI 8 Watch and the first beta release was pushed out this week. The One UI 8 Watch interface includes Wear OS 6 which will supposedly include better battery life, the new Material 3 Expressive design language, and a more modern look that flows better. It also will include dynamic color theming which takes the dominant color from your selected watch face and uses it to create colored accents that match throughout the timepiece's interface. Image of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. | Image credit-Evan Blass You might think that little extras like this will run through the Galaxy Watch 8 model's battery life as though it were the last couple of slices of rare roast beef at a carnivore convention. But Samsung says that there will be a 10% improvement in battery life from Wear OS 5 to Wear OS 6. Image of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Ultra (2025). | Image credit-Evan Blass Samsung currently owns a 9% share of the global smartwatch market according to Counterpoint Research. Those results put the South Korean manufacturer in third place worldwide after Apple and Huawei. The summer's Unpacked event is rumored to take place on July 13th in New York City. Last year's event was held on July 10th so the rumor mill might be right. There was a prototype Galaxy Watch 8 Classic already posted for sale on eBay. Model number SM-L505U features 64GB of internal storage with LTE support and a 46mm case. It was priced at $150 and was not sold.

New leaked renders show Samsung is launching three squircle Galaxy Watches
Samsung is getting ready to unveil the Galaxy Watch8 and Galaxy Watch8 Classic at its next Unpacked event, which is rumored to take place in New York next month. Both models will employ the squircle case design that made its debut in the Galaxy Watch Ultra from last year. As you'd expect, the Classic will feature a rotating bezel. A new leak today brings a plot twist, however. It's now looking like, alongside the Watch8 and Watch8 Classic, Samsung will also introduce the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025. Here are all three in freshly leaked renders. Samsung Galaxy Watch8 (left), Watch8 Classic (center), and Watch Ultra 2025 (right) We haven't heard much about a new Galaxy Watch Ultra recently, so we assumed Samsung wouldn't refresh the Ultra until next year, but this leak comes to contradict that. As you can see above, the design language has been unified between the three devices, with each one having its own unique look - but they also clearly belong to the same line as well. The Watch8 Classic's bezel is different in order to be easily rotatable, and it also gains the Ultra's Quick Button. The Galaxy Watch8 is expected to come in two sizes, while the other two will be one size fits all. Source

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 may come in black, blue, and silver options. Samsung is set to launch a handful of products in its upcoming Unpacked event.
