‘This blush stick instantly makes me look like I've had a good night's sleep'
These creamy blusher sticks launched last week and, after giving them a proper go, I'm so impressed with how fresh and youthful they make my complexion look, says our beauty editor A new Charlotte Tilbury product launch is always big news in the beauty world, and its latest was no exception. Last week the much-loved make-up and skincare brand unveiled an extension to its Unreal Skin Foundation Stick with new Unreal Blush Healthy Glow Sticks, and I was lucky enough to try them out ahead of their launch. Available in six shades, Unreal Blush, £30, is a chubby, twist-up stick of creamy, skincare-packed colour, which can be used on the cheeks and the lips (or anywhere you like, really). I've used them for a good few days now, and can now say that they've become a firm fixture in my make-up bag for just how good they make my skin look; I'd even go as far as the say they knock years off the clock. I was sent a few shades of Unreal Blush to try, but the one that suits my fair skin best is Rosy Glow, a dusky neutral pink (I think this will be the most popular with shoppers). All the colours are very pigmented, so you only need to apply a small dot each time then blend it out. The formula is so unbelievably creamy; it just melts onto the skin, and blends really well with either fingers or a brush (I prefer using a brush). You can really feel how hydrating it is on the skin, and this feeling lasts all day, no patchiness or cracking here. Apply the right blush, and in the right places, and it will usually make your skin look fresher and more awake, but these Charlotte Tilbury sticks are especially good at this. The combination of the perky shades and the dewy formula are really prettifying, and give skin such a boost – something that's especially welcome at the moment, as I've been struggling to sleep at night due to the warm weather. I'd go as far as to say that wearing this blush makes me look younger, much like the effect that the Charlotte Tilbury Unreal Skin Foundation Stick had on me (you can read my full review here, but in summary, I was asked to show ID when wearing this face base – and I was 36 at the time). With so many gorgeous stick blushes on the market nowadays, I don't think I'll ever go back to using pressed powder one, and they've totally converted a former blush-phobe into a huge fan. Others I love are Rhode's Pocket Blush, £24 (the shade Piggy is my favourite), Merit's now-cult classic Flush Balm, £26, and the new Dior Backstage Rosy Glow Stick, £37.

Charlotte Tilbury's 'game-changing' skincare product leaves customers 'blown away'
Charlotte Tilbury's 'game-changing' skincare product leaves customers 'blown away' Charlotte Tilbury has launched an extension of one of its most talked about products of last year Charlotte Tilbury is known for incorporating skincare benefits into her make-up (Image: Charlotte Tilbury ) Charlotte Tilbury has expanded its range with a new addition that's causing quite the stir among beauty enthusiasts. Building on the success of last year's super-glowy Unreal Skin Foundation Stick, priced at £35, which some customers claimed made them appear a decade younger, the beloved makeup brand has now introduced its Unreal Blush Healthy Glow Sticks. These elegantly presented, creamy, dewy blushes come in six different hues and are flying off the shelves rapidly. In line with Charlotte Tilbury's reputation for incorporating skincare benefits into her make-up, these £30 sticks boast ingredients that 90% of users agree help reduce the appearance of fine lines, while 95% felt their skin looked more plump. The Charlotte Tilbury website displays each shade on models with varying skin tones, offering a convenient virtual try-on feature. For money-saving tips, sign up to our Money newsletter here The Unreal Blush has already garnered an overwhelmingly positive response from early testers; out of over 160 reviews, nearly all rate it five stars, with people describing it as "perfection" and "a great everyday blush." One reviewer enthused: "This is amazing for dry or mature skin," adding, "You can instantly feel the hyaluronic acid when you swipe it on. It is very sheer, so if you are like me and very love blush, build it on. It blends easily and lasted 12 hours!" One individual described it as an "effortless glow in a stick" and "a game-changer", adding: "Rosy Glow gives the perfect natural flush with a dewy finish that makes your skin look fresh and radiant. The creamy formula blends easily and is super buildable – great for everyday of full glam. "The stick format is convenient, though it may run out quickly with regular use. Still, totally worth it for the glow it delivers", "I'm absolutely blown away by this product," another person added. "I wore this for an entire 12 hours – was not cautious or careful while wearing it, nor did I wear setting spray and it seriously last all day with little to no fading. My skin felt so hydrated, it wasn't even like I was wearing a blush, it felt like skincare." While the product itself received high praise from nearly everyone, a few customers reported issues with the packaging, stating that it broke upon first use, reports the Manchester Evening News. Article continues below Cream blush sticks are certainly enjoying their moment in the makeup spotlight. Another of my all-time favourites is Rhode Pocket Blush, priced at £24 (the shade Piggy is my top choice), while Merit's adorable little Flush Balm, retailing at £26, is extremely popular with celebrities and beauty editors alike.

Charlotte Tilbury Expects Her Two New Products To Become ‘Instant Viral Sensations': ‘A Product Does Not Launch Until It Is Perfect'
Charlotte Tilbury Right on the heels of the announcement earlier this month that Charlotte Tilbury will be the first-ever official beauty partner of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, her brand is leaning into what it is calling its 'Unreal Summer'—which includes the release of two new products. Inspired by the cult favorite Unreal Skin Tint, the Unreal Blush Healthy Glow comes out June 18, with the Unreal Lips Healthy Glow Nectar Oil available to buy the next month on July 15. 'With every beauty innovation I create, I always put skin first, supercharging each formula—whether it is skincare or makeup—with science-backed, skin-loving ingredients to create incredible formulas that are suitable for all skin types,' Tilbury tells me via email. (She calls me 'darling'—so very signature of her—multiple times. It's a beauty writer's dream come true.) Up first in Tilbury's Unreal Summer Collection is the launch of the brand's Unreal Blush, which is available to buy today. 'I wanted everyone to be able to mimic the way your skin blushes when you've spent the day on the beach and look fresh, radiant and healthy, so I have created a holiday glow-up in a stick,' she says, calling the blush a 'summer-glow filter effect, bottled.' Charlotte Tilbury's Unreal Blush features six shades. The blushes come in six shades, and 'it looks and feels like a second skin,' Tilbury says. 'I am also obsessed with the viral blonzing trend, which mimics that gorgeous, sun-blushed glow that looks like you've just spent the day at the beach,' she says, calling the product 'the lovechild of blusher and bronzer.' The Unreal Blush also leans into the glazed blush trend, and the application is simple, she teaches me: apply the product around the forehead and in a 'W' shape across the nose and cheeks and blend. 'Everyone will be asking if you've been on holiday, have spent a day at the spa or have just been on a juice cleanse,' she assures me. The Unreal Blush, released June 18, is part of Tilbury's Unreal Summer Collection. The Unreal Lips also come in six shades, and she tells me she worked with leading Parisian experts and mixologists to produce what she calls her 'mood boosting scent technology,' which 'is proven to enhance feelings of happiness.' (Lip products have long been known to make me happier, but now it's science-backed happiness.) 'It's a sensory dream,' she says. The innovations don't end there, as it turns out—two of the six lip shades, Pink Watermelon and Strawberry Vanilla, adapt to the pH of each wearer's lips to 'reveal a one-of-a-kind shade that's unique to you,' Tilbury says, also telling me that she 'meticulously designed' the product's applicator to hug the contours of the lip and 'distribute the optimal amount of product.' The Unreal Lips are, in her words, 'a lip hug in a tube.' The six Unreal Lips shades are designed to not only look good, but boost happiness. The Unreal Lips fill in the look of fine lines and are scented, as 'I have never enjoyed the sickly sweetness of existing lip oils out there, so we tested iteration after iteration to perfect my essences so it's like bottling the nectar of each fruit so they smell super natural,' she says. The fruits available? The aforementioned Pink Watermelon and Strawberry Vanilla, plus Coconut Water, Cherry Glaze, Pure Peach and Candy Fig. Unreal Lips drops on July 15, including the Pink Watermelon shade, seen here. Tilbury is president, chairman, chief creative officer and founder of her eponymous brand—and when your name is on the company, it absolutely has to be done right. 'A product does not launch until it is perfect, which can sometimes take years,' Tilbury says, adding that those who shop her products 'deserve nothing but the best.' 'I cannot wait to see my Unreal Blush and Unreal Lips become instant viral sensations,' she adds.

Make-up and skincare mega-brand Charlotte Tilbury has just dropped a gorgeous new addition to its Unreal line of products, and shoppers are already bowled over by it Whenever Charlotte Tilbury drops something new, we sit up and take notice – especially when it's an extension of one of the brand's most talked about products of last year. The much-loved make-up brand has just launched its Unreal Blush Healthy Glow Sticks, beautifully packaged, creamy, dewy blushes available in six shades. This follows on from Charlotte Tilbury's super-glowy Unreal Skin Foundation Stick, which launches last year and now has over a thousand reviews on the website (when I reviewed it I found that it made me look 10 years younger). Like most of Charlotte's make-up products, these sticks – which cost £30 – are packed full of effective skincare ingredients, with 90% of testers agreeing that it minimises the look of fine lines, and 95% saying that skin looked plumper. The Charlotte Tilbury website also makes it super easy to find your right shade, with each one shown on models with different skin tones, and a handy try-on camera function. Despite only launching today, testers that were given a sneak peek at Unreal Blush in advance are clearly wowed by it; almost all of its 160+ reviews are five-star ones, with people calling it 'perfection' and 'a great everyday blush'. "This is amazing for dry or mature skin," one person wrote. "You can instantly feel the hyaluronic acid when you swipe it on. It is very sheer, so if you are like me and very love blush, build it on. It blends easily and lasted 12 hours!" Another called it "effortless glow in a stick" and "a game-changer", continuing: "Rosy Glow gives the perfect natural flush with a dewy finish that makes your skin look fresh and radiant. The creamy formula blends easily and is super buildable – great for everyday of full glam. The stick format is convenient, though it may run out quickly with regular use. Still, totally worth it for the glow it delivers." "I wore this for an entire 12 hours – was not cautious or careful while wearing it, nor did I wear setting spray and it seriously last all day with little to no fading. While pretty much everyone praised the actual product, a couple of customers had issues with the packaging, however, reporting that it broke upon first use. Cream blush sticks are certainly having a make-up moment.
