Luxury fragrance brand launches £62 ‘Aperol spritz' perfume that smells like summer weekends

If you've been looking for the perfect summer scent, you're in luck as Maison Margiela's REPLICA has launched a new 'Aperol spritz' fragrance that's been hailed as 'summer in a bottle' With balmy evenings, blue skies, and sunshine-filled mornings, summer is (hopefully) here to stay. And now that the warm weather is mostly settling in, there's no better time to treat yourself to a new scent. So if you're on the hunt for a new fragrance to match your mood, Maison Margiela's REPLICA has just launched what might be its most summery scent yet. The French luxury fashion house introduced its first fragrance, Untitled, in 2010, and has since built a cult following with its genderless perfumes and home scents. By 2012, the iconic REPLICA line was born, designed to capture nostalgic moments and feelings through scent. From By the Fireplace to Lazy Sunday Morning, each fragrance is intended to reproduce a familiar scent. And now, Never Ending Summer is here with that golden hour, Aperol-sipping, Italian coastline vibe. With spicy citrus notes and a gorgeous sunset orange shade, this could easily become your new favourite scent of the season. The top notes include spritz accord, bitter orange, and pepper duet, with the base notes of patchouli, cedarwood, and vetiver bringing an earth element to the Mediterranean citrus smells. The overwhelming reviews all agreed that this scent is 'summer in a bottle' or the 'perfect summer scent'. One shopper praised: "Summer in a bottle. Maison Margiela's Never Ending Summer Eau de Toilette is sunshine in scent form! It opens with a burst of citrus and warm, sun-kissed notes that instantly lift my mood. Light, fresh, and effortless, it lingers beautifully without being overpowering. It truly captures that carefree, golden-hour vibe. Perfect for daily wear or a summer getaway, this fragrance feels like a warm embrace from a perfect day. A second added: "So summery. I purchased this a gift for a friend who was spending her honeymoon in the Amalfi Coast. She wears it all the time now and it smells so good on her. It is very citrusy and fresh - perfect for summer and my friend says it reminds her so much of being on the Amalfi Coast." However, a couple did note that the lasting power is not as long as it should be for the price. A reviewer said: "Summer in a bottle but doesn't last long enough. I got to try this in store today. It's such a refreshing citrus scent, perfectly balanced not too sweet nor sharp or sour. My only complaint is that it didn't last, and I could hardly smell the zesty notes on my jacket after two hours; it just left with a faint mossy scent. If you're looking to test out the Replica fragrance before purchasing, the Maison Margiela Replica Memory Box is £36 and allows you to sample 10 different mini fragrances. While the Kayali Discovery Sampler Set is currently £18.65 at Beauty Bay.

Collaborator on New Justin Bieber Album 'Swag' Says He Was ‘Mad Cool'

Putting aside whatever speculation, rumors and chatter surround Justin Bieber in recent months, one thing remains certain: his talent as a musician is undeniable. Going one step further, the process of working with Bieber has largely received high praise from those collaborating on his albums. That fact stood true again on Bieber's newest album, Swag, which features collaborations with several names and various artists. This includes Cash Cobain, whose debut studio album, Play Cash Cobain, was released in 2024. During an interview with GQ, Cobain spoke about the process of working with Bieber and explained how the duo came together to create the song "Swag." Cobain revealed that he messaged Bieber after the 31-year-old showed love by posting his song Trippin on a Yacht. 'I wrote bro like, 'We got to get some work in,'' Cash recalls. 'So I'm like, all right, boom—took bro's number down and then we was chopping it up for, I don't know, a couple days.' Cash said that Bieber reached out to him when he was in New York and met the pop star at his house, where there were several producers, rappers and artists. The 27-year-old rapper then detailed to GQ what the creative process was like working alongside Bieber, calling him "mad cool." 'You might think Justin Bieber would be on some other s---, but bro is mad cool. It was just natural...' Cash recalls, saying that Bieber was very loose in communicating a specific vibe that he was shooting for when making the song. 'He was just like, 'Swag. Swag, bro.' He on some swag s---. That's [all] him right there.' Cash went on to praise Bieber's first song on the album Swag, saying that the first song stood out to him, calling the beat something he's never heard anyone "really try to emulate." Bieber's 21-song album features credits to a few well-known names, including 2 Chainz for background vocals on "Yukon." The same song gives credit to Eminem as a composer-lyricist, but as Billboard details, that stems from an interpolation of a line from Eminem's "Untitled," a song on his 2010 album on New Justin Bieber Album 'Swag' Says He Was 'Mad Cool' first appeared on Men's Journal on Jul 17, 2025 Solve the daily Crossword

Here's Why Eminem Is Credited on Justin Bieber's ‘SWAG' Album

Justin Bieber returned with his R&B-leaning SWAG album on Friday (July 11). Among the surprises sifting through the 21-track LP, fans discovered that Eminem (Marshall Mathers) is listed as a composer-lyricist on 'Yukon.' However, it's not what one might think when it comes to a traditional writer or guest vocalist credit on a particular song. More from Billboard Justin Bieber's 'Swag': All 21 Tracks Ranked Fans Choose Justin Bieber's 'Swag' as This Week's Favorite New Music FIFA Club World Cup Performer Emmanuel Kelly on Being First Differently Abled Halftime Star: 'It's Pretty Extraordinary' On the opening verse, a high-pitched Bieber sings, 'I can help you get a move on, like U-Haul, and I know,' which is actually an interpolation of a line from Eminem's 'Untitled.' Slim Shady raps on the 2010 Recovery (Deluxe Edition) track's second verse: 'Get up, baby, get a move on like a U-Haul, you can rack your brain.' It's not the only time Em has used the U-Haul simile. He also referred to the moving truck on 2020's Music to Be Murdered By: Side B cut 'She Loves Me.' 'I put the moves on you like a U-Haul,' he raps. JB has long been a fan of the Detroit legend, and he was spotted wearing an Eminem graphic T-shirt while walking with his wife, Hailey Bieber, in October 2022. Eminem isn't the only rap influence on 'Yukon.' Vintage 2 Chainz ad-libs pop up sporadically throughout the Carter Lang-produced track, and he's credited as a background vocalist on the SWAG cut. The album arrived without much notice from Bieber as eagle-eyed fans noticed billboards up in New York City, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Reykjavík, Iceland, on Thursday (July 10). However, sources relayed to Billboard this is only step one in the next creative chapter of JB's music career, as the 31-year-old has a more pop-inspired album on the way. Eminem credited as lyricist on Justin Bieber's Yukon track from SWAG album

Justin Bieber's surprise album SWAG, released on July 11, 2025, has stirred excitement and confusion online—especially over a notable credit on one of its most talked-about tracks. According to the third song on the album, 'YUKON,' lists Eminem, 2 Chainz, Dijon, and Bieber himself as composer-lyricists. 🚨 Eminem is one of the Composer Lyricists on the track 'YUKON' on Justin Bieber's new album 'SWAG' — The Eminem Bible (@Shadyind) July 11, 2025 Fans quickly took to X (formerly Twitter) to react. Some were thrilled by Eminem's apparent involvement, with one user declaring 'YUKON' the 'second best song on the album,' and others calling it 'fire' and 'one of my favs.' However, many questioned the extent of Eminem's contribution. Several users speculated that Bieber had sampled a lyric from Eminem's 2011 track 'Untitled,' particularly the line, 'Get a move on, like U-Haul,' which may have led to Eminem being legally credited. The best of the album — Jack21 (@astrojack21) July 11, 2025 While some hoped the credit hinted at a deeper collaboration, others dismissed it as a routine legal listing. 'That means literally nothing,' one user wrote. 'He is legally obligated to list Eminem. It's still unclear which song was sampled.' Theories continued circulating, but most agreed the credit likely stems from sample clearance rather than a new partnership. It's because I take the lyrics from the song "Untitled" by Eminem — Javier Alejandro (@_Javishh) July 11, 2025 That means literally nothing, probably just used a sample so they had to credit em — ViperAceFilms (@ace6_viper) July 11, 2025 Though Bieber and Eminem haven't collaborated before, they've acknowledged each other publicly. In 2013, The Sun reported that Eminem reached out to Bieber during a rough patch, encouraging therapy. Later, in 2018, Eminem name-dropped Bieber in a freestyle, prompting Bieber to criticize the rapper's views on younger artists. SWAG is Bieber's first full-length release since Justice (2021), and its rollout included billboard campaigns across Reykjavík, New York, and Los Angeles. Promotional visuals featured Bieber, his wife Hailey, and their son Jack Blues. Whether Eminem's credit was intentional or incidental, it has certainly drawn fresh attention to Bieber's evolving musical direction.

This thought-provoking Osaka exhibition features 39 hyperrealistic human sculptures

While Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan explores the future in shapes including humanoid robots, a cultural centre on the other side of Osaka Bay is exhibiting another kind of human form – hyperrealistic sculptures of the body. ' Reshaped Reality: 50 Years of Hyperrealistic Sculpture ' is a highly acclaimed travelling exhibition currently on show at the architecturally striking Osaka Culturarium, Tempozan (designed by Osaka-born starchitect Tadao Ando) until October 13. It features 39 hyperrealistic human sculptures by 27 world-renowned artists. This is the exhibition's first showing in Japan, held as part of the Study: Osaka Kansai International Art Festival 2025, and follows successful runs in Spain and the Netherlands. The sculptures on show are uncannily lifelike; at times unnerving, yet deeply captivating. The human forms they portray may appear distorted or transformed, but are still startlingly realistic. They are awe-inspiring, yet they also prompt us to reflect on our own humanity, which is the exhibition's main intention. Some of the standout works include ' Untitled (Man in a sheet) ' by the UK-based Ron Mueck, ' Woman and Child ' by Australian artist Sam Jinks, and ' Ave Maria ' by Maurizio Cattelan, the Italian artist best known for his viral banana-taped-to-a-wall installation at 2019 Art Basel Miami Beach. With such a diverse array of works, you'll want to catch one of the guided weekend tours led by Atsuhito Miyake, the exhibition's coordinator. These hour-long walkthroughs offer insights into the historical context and artistic intentions behind the works. Tours start at 2pm and are free with an exhibition ticket. As space is limited to 20 participants, be sure to arrive by 1.45pm to register. Upcoming tour dates are July 20, 21, 22, 23; August 10, 11, 23; September 6; and October 11, 12. We're hoping this exhibition offers more meaningful answers to the question 'What does it mean to be human?' than the series finale of Squid Game... For more information, see the exhibition website.
