Take $180 Off Dyson Vacuums During Amazon Prime Day 2025

Up until the year I got my very own Dyson vacuum, every Prime Day, I would search for discounts on a few things: refills of my go-to skincare, discounts on items already saved in my cart, and of course, Dyson vacuums (or Dyson dupes). And spoiler alert, the real thing truly lives up to the massive hype—especially when you can get it on sale for Amazon Prime Day, which run from today through July 11. As a professional shopping editor, my opinion is that the current best Dyson vacuum for your money is the V11 model. It's still very much on the affordable side when you shop via Amazon, it doesn't cut corners when it comes to battery life, and boasts great waste bin space for fewer trips to the trash can. In fact, it has 40% more waste bin space than the V8, Dyson's oldest model you can currently buy, which is much cheaper but at the cost of customer complaints about battery life not lasting very long. The typically-$569.99 vacuum is 30% off right now, which is $170 off. And sure, that $399 on-sale price tag isn't exactly chump change, but if you've decided you want to invest your money into a vacuum that works like a dream, this is a great time to snag a premium, customer-beloved pick at a major discount. Another great option is the Dyson V15 Detect, an even newer model that boasts the Fluffy Optic cleaner head and laser light feature that you've probably seen someone demonstrating on your FYP. The green light beams that emit from the vacuum head reveal tons of dust, dirt, and debris that isn't always visible to the naked eye (but is totally there, urgh!). This one is 24% off right now, bringing it down from $749.99 (omfg) to $569.99 And speaking of Dyson, if all this vacuum talk has you itching to buy a new hot tool that gives you perfectly blown-out hair (you know exactly what I'm talking about), I have good news. Yes, the Dyson Airwrap Origin is also on sale right now! It's usually $500, but you can currently get it for 20% off, which is an entire hundred dollar bill. Sounds like the perfect moment to splurge to me!

I thought Prime Day sucked, but these vacuum deals suck harder (in a good way) — save up to $300 on Samsung, Dyson, and more

We're tracking the best Prime Day deals live so you don't have to. If you're in the market for a new TV, fitness tracker, or even phone, we've got all the best deals covered. Me? Well, when I'm not scouring for the best audio deals, I'm in my second natural habitat: finding home appliances for cheap. I test vacuums here at Tom's Guide, so I know which appliances are worth their salt. My favorite vacuum in the world is the Samsung Bespoke Jet AI Ultra, which has crashed to its lowest-ever price. Right now the Samsung Bespoke Jet AI Ultra is just $799 on Amazon, a massive $300 off its MSRP. I've also rounded up deals from budget brand Ultenic, and a surprising Dyson discount. Keep scrolling to find out the best vacuum cleaner Prime Day deals. I've not tested this Ultenic vacuum personally, but I have tested the Ultenic U12. For budget vacuums, Ultenics actually perform well. I was able to clean every inch of my carpet-and-wood floored house with the U12 (below!). The battery only lasts on about 15 minutes for high, but that's bang average for cordless vacuums like these. The U16 Flex is unique because it has a bendable stick, making it perfect for cleaning tricky spaces. I awarded the Ultenic U12 Vesla the coveted 4.5 star Editor's Choice rating in my review. Not only does the U12 Vesla have the same green light technology of much, much pricer Dysons, it's also really powerful. The U12 Vesla cleaned both thick pile carpet and hardwood floors without breaking a sweat. Although it's not as powerful as a Dyson or a Samsung, for just $168, can you really complain? I think this is the ideal vacuum cleaner for someone on a budget, or someone with a small apartment (like me!). We reviewed the Dyson V11 last year and praised it for its powerful suction and impressive battery life. At $399, this is a fantastic deal. It's probably the best way to get Dyson performance at a semi-budget price. While it doesn't have the mesmerizing green light technology of other Dyson models, as I said above, the V11 is probably the cheapest way to get premium Dyson performance. Alternatively you could check out the $299 Dyson V8 on Amazon, but I'd recommend the V11 instead. This premium Dyson vacuum has an impressive 60 minute run time, and the handy green light illuminates every speck of dust. I've reviewed (and also have) the similar Dyson Gen5Detect, and let me tell you, that little green light will make you go crazy for cleaning — in a good way. I'm obsessed with getting every last speck of dust like it's a game. What's more is that the V15 Detect has HEPA filters for ultimate reassurance! This is it: the King Kong of vacuum savings. The piece de resistance. The cherry on top. The... well, you catch my drift. I have never been in love with a vacuum cleaner like I am with the Samsung Bespoke Jet AI Ultra. I awarded it the rare perfect 5 stars in my review. In the "cons" section, I just wrote "literally nothing". Yes, I know $1,099 is pricey for a vacuum. But at $799, this vacuum is like a 11/10. Maybe even a 12/10. Let me run through just a few of the reasons why: it self empties, it can clean even the thickest pile rugs like no tomorrow, and it comes with two batteries. This will be the last vacuum you ever buy, trust me. I love this vacuum more than anything else I've ever reviewed. Don't forget to check out our Prime Day live blog for the best deals, and all the stuff you can get for free on Amazon this Prime Day.

Amazon Is Crushing Dyson: The V11 Model Isn't Free, But It's Almost There

Prime Day is living up to the hype this year and delivers impressive deals across every brand, from the most basic to the most premium. If you're looking for the 'Apple of vacuum cleaners,' Dyson is the name to know. Their latest models are famous for their advanced technology and sleek design but they never come cheap. It's why Amazon Prime Day is the perfect time to switch. This year, the Dyson V11 Origin cordless vacuum has hit a record low, and it's selling out quick (over 9,000 units have been sold in the US alone since midnight). The Dyson V11 Origin, usually priced at $569, is available right now for $399. That's a $170 discount, or 30% off, which makes this the most affordable opportunity to bring home Dyson's advanced cleaning power. At under $400, you're getting a premium vacuum that's packed with features and engineered for deep cleaning, all without the premium price tag. See at Amazon The digital motor within this V11 vacuum operates at an optimal speed of 125,000 RPM, and offers 60% more suction than the previous model Dyson cordless vacuums. This powerful motor gives a thorough clean on any type of floor surface, hardwood or carpet and moves smoothly through dust, debris, and pet hair. With up to 60 minutes of runtime on one battery, you can clean your entire home without interruption. It's also lightweight and cordless at just 6.6 pounds so it's simple to maneuver around furniture, up and down stairs and into tight spaces too small for big machines. The vacuum comes with a Motorbar cleaner head that's designed to give every kind of floor a deep clean, automatically detangling long hair and pet hair along the way. The accessories that come with it /such as the mini soft dusting brush, crevice tool, and hair screw tool) are ideal for dusting and cleaning everything. You will also be surprised by the great LCD display where power modes, maintenance notices, and remaining running time to the second are displayed. Transition seamlessly between three cleaning modes: Auto mode for everyday cleaning and optimal battery life, Eco mode to save run time, and Boost mode for an extra boost when you need it most. Last but not least: Dyson's advanced whole-machine filtration system traps 99.99% of particles as tiny as 0.3 microns, and circulates cleaner air back into your home. The V11 Origin has no bag, is easy to empty and clean, and the included wall dock and charger keep it at your fingertips, ready to go. Now this is your chance to experience Dyson without paying full price. Don't wait too long, as deals like this tend to disappear quickly once Prime Day ends. See at Amazon

Drivers warned to act now as DVLA plans to ‘modernise' driving system

Drivers in the UK have been warned of upcoming DVLA changes that could impact millions of motorists. DVLA plans to introduce digital vehicle tax services which will 'modernise' the British driving system. This will allow motorists to renew their car tax without needing a log book or paper reminder letter. Read more: PIP claimants warned they 'face a two-tier benefits system' The upgrade is part of the DVLA's push to modernise services, meaning drivers can now tax their vehicles online even if they've lost their V5C log book or haven't received their V11 tax reminder in the post. Failing to keep your vehicle taxed could land you with a fine of up to £1,000, with enforcement cameras able to catch untaxed cars instantly. However, with millions of drivers set to hit the roads for summer holidays and festivals, experts warn that a missed renewal could ruin travel plans or lead to unexpected penalties. Cherie Carter, Director at Indigo Car Hire, has four action points for new drivers to avoid unwanted penalties. She explained: 'Firstly, it's important to log into your Driver & Vehicle Account (DVA). Make sure your email and phone number are up to date, and you should be able to receive reminders both on this topic and any other updates going forward. 'It's also important to check your personal details. One of the big reasons why so many drivers miss out on news like this is because of incorrect addresses; it could stop you from renewing online in future if you're out of date, or simply didn't update a new email or postal address. 'Verify your identity if needed: With so many security scandals of late, it's vital for both companies and users to be secure. First-time users may need to confirm their details using DVLA-approved checks. 'Finally, and this relates back to step one, but make sure you do sign up for digital reminders: Email or SMS alerts are free from the DVLA and will help you avoid fines for late renewal. 'This change is a real step forward for drivers,' Cherie continued. She added: 'Being able to tax a vehicle online without waiting for documents will save people time and hassle. 'For car hire firms and private motorists, it's another way to keep vehicles road-legal and avoid last-minute stress.'

Acer launches 2 new tablets at Computex 2025 to take on the iPad — meet the Iconia V11 and V12

Acer has launched two new Android-based Iconia tablets at Computex 2025 with an eye towards capturing budget-conscious customers on the lookout for a new Android tablet. The Iconia V11 and V12 arrive running Android 15 powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor backed by up to 8GB of DDR4 RAM. Judging from the European pricing (U.S. and U.K. prices haven't been revealed yet) of €289 for the V12 and €229 for the V11, we're looking at sub-$300 mid-tier devices vying for a spot on the best cheap tablets list. So, what do you get for the money? Acer is packing these devices with 11- and 12-inch, 16:10 aspect ratio screens with up to a 2K resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Both tablets feature an aluminum chassis and while the V12 weighs in at 595g (1.3 pounds), the V11 is quite a bit lighter at 500g (1.1 pounds). Both devices come with an iPad-style magnetic folio case that doubles up as a kickstand with three different viewing angles. Both devices come with an iPad-style magnetic folio case that doubles up as a kickstand with three different viewing angles. Acer also has an accompanying stylus it's selling separately. You only get one color option, and it's an eye-pleasing "mist green". There's 256GB of built-in storage in each tablet with the option to expand that up to 1TB via microSD. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. Acer quotes a 10-hour battery life from the integrated 8,000mAh batteries — but that's obviously something we'll have to test independently once we get our hands on these tablets. Camera-wise, you're looking at an 8-megapixel rear shooter and a 5-megapixel front one for video calls. Again, we'll have to test these out in the hand to determine if the quality is any good. USB fast charging is on offer and Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 round out the connectivity options. Acer has a 4G LTE version of the Iconia V11 for anyone who wants to include a cellular connection. We won't know exactly how good these devices are until we've got them into the Tom's Guide testing labs for a full review. But it's safe to say competition to offer the best cheap tablets is fierce right now. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 can be had for under $200 at Amazon right now thanks to a 13% discount. For Android users, this is a solid entry-level option with a 10.4-inch 2,000 x 1,200 display and a Snapdragon 662 processor inside along with 3GB of RAM. Of course, for those with a little bit more to spend, there's the 11-inch iPad (10th generation) which is hovering at $321 at Amazon at time of writing due to an 8% discount. That's the best overall cheap tablet you can buy right now and a tough opponent for Acer to match. The Iconia tablets are far from the only products Acer is unleashing at Computex this year. Tom's Guide will be reporting from the show floor all week so make sure you check back for the latest news as it happens.
