Rajasthan opens applications for 850 village development officer posts in 2025

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has officially started inviting applications for the recruitment of Village Development Officers (VDOs) for the year 2025. A total of 850 vacancies have been opened in the Panchayati Raj Department, with 683 positions in non-scheduled areas and 167 in scheduled can apply online till July 18, 2025 by visiting the official website,i.e., belonging to the General and OBC (creamy layer) categories need to pay an application fee of 600. Meanwhile, those from non-creamy layer OBC, MBC, EWS, SC, ST, and persons with disabilities in Rajasthan are required to pay a reduced fee of 400. The fee can be paid through multiple channels, including e-Mitra kiosks, Common Service Centres (CSCs), net banking, or debit/credit AND FORMATThe preliminary written examination is tentatively scheduled for 31 August 2025 and will be conducted offline (OMR-based). RSSB has reserved the right to modify the exam date or venue if necessary.
