One person arrested following incident at Barrie recreational trail

One person was taken into custody following an investigation in the area of a recreational trail in Barrie Wednesday night.
Yellow police tape surrounded a portion of the trail in the Kempenfelt Drive and Vancouver Street area for the investigation, which officials said was in its early stages.
Police said it appears to be an isolated incident, adding there was no threat to public safety.
Officers cleared the scene around 10 p.m.
Police say further details will be provided when the investigation permits.
