Scheana Shay reveals husband Brock Davies cheated on her while she was pregnant
Scheana Shay revealed her husband, Brock Davies, cheated on her while she was pregnant with their daughter, Summer Moon. The 'Vanderpump Rules' star said Davies admitted to his affair around the time he was rumored to be sleeping with her former co-star Raquel Leviss in 2023, according to an excerpt from her upcoming memoir, 'My Good Side,' and obtained by Glamour. She explained that, after an 'amazing day' with her family, they sat down to watch the latest episode of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey,' before he asked her to 'put down the remote.' 'Brock said that with all of the fake news being published, he was afraid that something that actually was true might surface, and it was best that I heard it directly from him,' she wrote, referencing the rumors surrounding his friendship with Leviss. 'My whole body froze, and I remained in a state of paralyzed shock as he confessed that he'd cheated on me two years prior, when we were living in San Diego during the [COVID-19] pandemic, while I was pregnant with Summer. '… As I sat there, feeling completely sick to my stomach, he admitted that — at the time — he was scared about being a father again, specifically about whether he even deserved to be, and he chose to deal with it by sleeping with someone else. 'I use the word 'chose' because it was very much a conscious decision. No one twisted his arm or dragged him into bed.' Shay, 40, described feeling a 'deep fury bubbling inside of [her]' that she 'couldn't release,' saying that she avoided screaming to avoid waking up their daughter. 'Our daughter,' she said. 'His baby, whom I'd been carrying while he was in bed with another woman. I stood up and started pacing back and forth, fuming, and feeling like I might throw up.' However, the Bravolebrity lost control of her emotions and slapped Davies across the face before throwing a Rubik's cube at him, 'which he dodged.' According to Davies, the woman he cheated with was someone he had known before dating Shay and had recently reconnected with. Shay described not understanding how he cheated on her because he had shared his location with her. However, she found out that he had a second cell phone for his gym business, which became the main communication line between him and the other woman. That same night, Davies handed Shay a letter he had written in 2022 — a year before he confessed — where he revealed how many times he and the woman had slept together and the places they had intercourse. Davies, who has two children from a previous marriage, wrote the letter after 'he realized he was throwing his second chance at a family away by stepping out.' He also 'swore to himself that he would never betray [Shay] again.' 'Once I'd read it, that was more than enough,' Shay continued. 'I told him to immediately toss it into the fire. I never wanted to set eyes on those words again.' Before giving birth to Summer in April 2021, Shay experienced a miscarriage the prior year. The couple, who got engaged in 2021, secretly tied the knot in 2022 before hosting a larger celebration in Mexico the following year. 'My Good Side,' which also touches on Shay's affair with Eddie Cibriani while he was married to Brandi Glanville, is available for purchase on July 22. Solve the daily Crossword

Scheana Shay makes rare confession about Eddie Cibrian affair and their ‘weekly booty calls'
Scheana Shay made a rare comment about her affair with then-married actor Eddie Cibrian. The 'Vanderpump Rules' alum recalled exactly how she fell for Cibrian, who was married to 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star Brandi Glanville, when she began working at a private member's cigar lounge and restaurant in Beverly Hills, Calif., in 2006. 'I first laid eyes on Eddie Cibrian a few months later, when he stepped off the elevator at the cigar lounge, where he played poker on Tuesday nights,' she writes in an excerpt from her forthcoming memoir, 'My Good Side,' per Entertainment Weekly. 'If you were to ask me when I was growing up what my exact type was, to a tee it was Eddie—tall, dark, and handsome, with dimples. The second we made eye contact, he smiled at me with those dimples, and I melted.' The reality star, 40, said her 'relationship' with Cibrian, 52, 'wasn't romantic from the jump, though the writing was on the wall from day one.' 'Eddie was the sweetest, funniest, most charismatic, consummate gentleman I'd ever met. He always made me feel like I was the only girl in the room when I was working,' she gushed in the book. 'Whereas most of the other patrons at the cigar lounge just wanted me to serve them their drinks and leave them to play poker, Eddie made a concerted effort to make eye contact with me.' Shay claimed she 'didn't realize' the 'Sunset Beach' alum was married because he allegedly 'never wore a wedding ring' and their fling 'was pre–social media.' 'So it wasn't like he was posting pics of his family in matching pajamas in front of a Christmas tree,' she wrote. Shay said Cibrian 'wasn't [her] boyfriend (at least not exclusively),' but they started a physical relationship at the end of 2006, which she labeled 'a weekly booty call' at her house after his poker games. The 'Valley' star then claimed her perfect romance with Cibrian started to unravel when one of the cigar lounge members told her the 'LeAnn & Eddie' alum was married. 'I didn't believe it (or maybe I didn't want to believe it) because I was wild about Eddie,' she shared. 'And, again, we were out together all the time in public, so I didn't feel like some secret mistress! Still, I was freaking out and had a massive pit in my stomach.' Sha then confronted Cibrian about his double life at the cigar lounge. 'As predicted, Eddie showed up and, immediately, he could tell that my energy was off. He asked me what was going on, and I told him to check his phone. I'd sent him a message saying, 'I have to ask, before we hang out tonight, does something belong on your ring finger?'' she recalled. 'I didn't want to come across as aggressive or have him think I was acting crazy, since I didn't know if it was true, and also because my inherent people-pleasing tendencies were in full force.' Shay detailed that she directly asked Cibrian if he was married, to which he replied, 'No, that's insane. Why would you ask me that?' 'It was gaslighting in its most basic form. Yet, I trusted him, so we continued hanging out,' she wrote. Page Six has reached out to both Glanville and Cibrian for comment but did not immediately hear back. Her comments on their affair seemingly contradict what she told 'Access Hollywood' back in 2009 when their transgression was exposed. She alleged at the time that it was her mom who informed her that Cibrian was married after seeing in a newspaper that he and Glanville were expecting their second child in 2007. Though they allegedly stopped seeing each other then, they rekindled their romance months later when Cibrian claimed to her that he and Glanville had separated. 'I just wanted to believe what he was saying,' she told the outlet at the time. 'I was just kind of like, 'Don't ask, don't tell.' Whatever, let's have a great summer. When you're with me, you're with me. When you're not, we'll just do our own thing.' She also noted, however, that Cibrian always went back home to Glanville and the kids at the end of the night. 'I always wanted him to be just mine. But I knew that there was something else,' she admitted at the time. Cibrian was married to Glanville, also 52, from 2001 to 2010. The exes share sons Mason, 22, and Jake, 18. Shay wasn't the only woman the 'Third Watch' actor had a romantic relationship with during his marriage to the former Bravo star. He also began seeing LeAnn Rimes while he was still married to Glanville. After they divorced, Cibrian and the 'Blue' singer, 42, tied the knot in 2011. 'My Good Side' will be released on July 22. Scheana Shay says husband Brock Davies' cheating was ‘karma' for Eddie Cibrian affair
Brock Davies cheated on Scheana Shay — and she'll be the first to admit that her husband's infidelity 'really felt like … karma.' The 'Vanderpump Rules' alum reflected on her own affair in 2006 with then-married Eddie Cibrian while discussing Davies' scandal with Us Weekly in an interview published Wednesday. 'Did I deserve [to be cheated on]?' Shay, 40, asked. 'No, but I told myself that I did.' The reality star noted that she has worn a 'scarlet letter for so long' and is regularly called a 'home-wrecking whore' online for her past relationship with Cibrian. Shay defended herself for being the actor's 'booty call' while he was married to Brandi Glanville, explaining, 'I was lied to by a 33-year-old man when I was 21, fresh out of college. I feel like people tend to forget that. 'Looking back, were there red flags? Absolutely,' she continued. 'I was leading with my heart and not my brain.' The Bravolebrity does, however, 'regret opening up to the media about' her time with the now-52-year-old 'Sunset Beach' alum, which she called an 'extremely immature and extremely irresponsible' choice. 'I wasn't thinking about his wife and toddlers at home,' she admitted. 'People like to say that I make everything about me — this was an instance where I was only thinking about myself.' Shay noted, 'Lo and behold, look what my husband did to me.' The 'Valley' star revealed last week in an excerpt of her upcoming memoir, 'My Good Side,' that Davies had an affair while she was pregnant with their daughter, Summer, in 2021. The 35-year-old did not tell Shay about his betrayal until Tom Sandoval's cheating scandal went viral two years later — and Shay 'went back and forth' about including it in her book. 'It started as absolutely not,' she explained to Us Weekly. 'It was an eight-month conversation. After several therapy sessions and really talking about it, we decided that this book would be inauthentic if we didn't put it all in.' Shay clarified that she and Davies were 'both … a little bit' on the fence. Nevertheless, she decided, 'I'd rather it come out in my words because, unfortunately, there was another person involved in this situation, and at any point in time, she could come forward.' The woman, who has not been identified, was someone Davies knew previously and reconnected with at a F45 gym. Shay '100 percent without a doubt would have left' her partner over the indiscretion if they did not have a 4-year-old. Her forgiveness has taken therapy and 'work every single day,' with Shay deciding she 'can't let [Davies'] past define' him and make him 'wear that for the rest of his life.' She continued, 'I will forever have insecurities. Just the other day, I saw him swipe and delete a text, and I'm like, 'What was that?' … But I genuinely believe he would never do anything like that again.' The couple, who have been married since 2022, are now 'slowly taking steps' to expand their family via surrogacy. Solve the daily Crossword

Think twice before you mock the Coldplay kiss-cam couple
Something extraordinary happened yesterday. It was a viral moment to contend with Professor Robert Kelly's kids wandering into the room while he was in a BBC interview in 2017. And it could give Vanderpump Rules' Scandoval a run for its money. It all happened at a recent Coldplay concert in Boston, when a kiss-cam directed itself to a cosy-looking couple. Immediately, their stomachs dropped in horror to see their private moment projected onto the world stage, as they ducked out of the frame like criminals in CCTV footage. 'Ooh, look at these two,' said frontman Chris Martin, before acknowledging their dramatic reaction: 'Alright, come on, you're okay! Oh — what? Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy!' It turned out the latter is apparently more likely. Online sleuths did some digging and claimed the pair were married tech company CEO Andy Byron and his HR chief Kristin Cabot. It will go down in history as a meme-able viral moment. Don't get me wrong, I love that this has happened. I'm all for a global outbreak of schadenfreude. But as the rumour mill spins out of control about their private lives, I'm also left feeling uneasy about the power of a viral moment and the sheer global humiliation of being the subject of one. Yes, these two people were in a public place, seemingly open about their relationship. And concerts these days always have people on their phones filming throughout, so perhaps they absolutely deserved this. But most of the time at concerts, people on the big screen are willing participants. All lenses are directed at the stage and those who choose to be in the frame: it's often fans who queued literally all night to be on the front rail and crave the attention of their own big screen moment. Sometimes, proposals are even made. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Enter the kiss-cam: a largely US phenomenon that's the real-life version of some sickly TV show where women are expected to smile, giggle coyly, and have their big rom-com moment on the big screen. Dare I say, it feels pre-Me Too to trap what is often a woman under a mountain of public pressure to comply with the expectation of a kiss. In March, an NBA fan was caught on kiss-cam with a woman. She appeared to swerve his advances, and the internet expressed their sympathies for him. Not for the poor woman who was faced with either a forced kiss or being responsible for publicly shaming a friend. In November there was another viral basketball game moment, when a man and woman were caught on kiss-cam. She leaned in for a kiss, but he pushed her head down to his lap. While she did laugh, it was awkward and uncomfortable to watch. So now, because of the dreaded kiss-cam, we have two people who are being heavily criticised by the whole world for allegedly doing what roughly a quarter of all married people have also done. There's no excuse for cheating, if it turns out that's what either of these suspiciously shy Coldplay fans has done. But there are things which explain it, that the internet's lack of nuance does not cater for. Like when a Taylor Swift fan was in floods of tears reacting to the song Exile, and the whole online world ripped her to shreds over it. We don't know what in her life has happened which triggered this response, and yet we are resolute in our bullying. While everyone will know the worst of these people and revel in it – perhaps for the rest of their lives – no one will care to wonder about the best of them. I worry about their mental health, and that of their immediate family, and of course the allegedly cheated-on partners. Although the coincidental gotcha is seen as a perfect slam-dunk moment by the rest of the world, it's embarrassing for Byron's wife – even though it shouldn't be. Of course, it should be embarrassing for him, not her. It's kind of evilly delicious just how embarrassing this is for him, if safeguarding concerns are put aside. But we know how the world works: when a man gets caught cheating, it's an almost joke-fuelled atmosphere, which I've seen in response to this scandal. I can't help but wonder what would have happened if the biggest cheater in this scenario was a woman. (It's reported Kristen is divorced, while sleuths claim to have tracked down his wife.) While there's been outrage at the CEO, comments of course turned misogynistic against her. I've seen X posts calling her a 'corporate s**t', a 'bitch', and 'f***ing whore'. If history tells us anything, it's that no one's laughing when a woman is the cheater. I love celebrity and reality TV show scandals as much as the next person, but just remember: these people aren't some desperate influencers strutting into the Love Island villa. More Trending They aren't signing up for the publicity. They haven't asked for virality or fame. Their success isn't shaped by their celebrity. They simply went to a concert. Yes, if it turns out either or both are cheating I'll be the first to call them selfish. But they are also just flawed people living their lives. Viral moments are an unnatural modern phenomenon, and leave no room for nuanced conversation or empathy. So let's just try and be a little sane about it, shall we? Jax Taylor exits ‘The Valley' to focus on sobriety, mental health and coparenting
Jax Taylor will not be returning to 'The Valley' for Season 3. The 46-year-old reality star's departure follows a fraught second season on the 'Vanderpump Rules' spinoff, which chronicled the end of his marriage to Brittany Cartwright and time in a mental health treatment facility. Before the season premiered in April, Taylor also opened up about his on-and-off cocaine addiction for the past two decades. 'After an incredibly challenging year and many honest conversations with my team and producers, I'll be stepping away from the next season of 'The Valley,'' he said in a statement. 'Right now, my focus needs to be on my sobriety, my mental health and coparenting. Taking this time is necessary for me to become the best version of myself — especially for our son, Cruz.' Taylor's unraveling marriage and struggles with sobriety were at the center of Season 2. Just before production began in July 2024, Taylor allegedly flipped a coffee table and bruised Cartwright's knee, his estranged wife said on the show. Even while in the mental health facility, he continued to watch Cartwright on their home cameras and send her angry text messages, which were shown on the reality series. 'You took my job away from me … I've worked so hard for two years for this and you took it from me,' read one text. 'Now do the work as a single mom. I am watching the cameras and [you're] not there,' he said in another. Cartwright filed for divorce in August 2024, citing irreconcilable differences. Taylor was served divorce papers on camera, shown in Episode 10. He has since agreed to give Cartwright full custody of their 4-year-old son, Cruz, according to People. 'The Valley' Season 2 finale will air July 22, followed by three reunion episodes. Taylor will appear at the reunion, which was filmed in May, Bravo confirmed.
