Peter Andre reveals 'most embarrassing' moment after huge on-air blunder
Peter Andre has opened up about the on-air experience he wishes to forget in his latest column with OK! saying it was 'so embarassing'. Peter Andre has opened up about the 'most embarrassing moments of his life', as he shares his thoughts on Lady Gaga's recent tumble during a recent gig in the US. The American hitmaker was kicking off the Mayhem Ball at the T-Mobile Arena on July 16 in Las Vegas, Nevada as she was spotted losing her footing and falling over during the performance. As the star moved towards the barrier to engage with her front-row fans she fell over whilst performing one of her tracks Vanish Into You. In the clips shared online, the star could be seen stumbling as she walked passed a cameraman, who nearly lost his balance too, just before she rather ironically sang the lyrics, "Into the night ... we fall," and then crashed to the floor, landing on her backside. However Lady GaGa bounced back like a professional and carried on her stroll by the barrier, the Mirror reports. Peter who is currently finishing a new album and best known for his 90s smash Mysterious Girl, commented on Lady GaGa's mishap in his exclusive column with OK! this week about what he describes as one of the: "I saw Lady Gaga 's awkward faceplant at a gig. It's awful when that happens. But I doubt she'll be having sleepless nights over it – these things happen during live shows." He continued, referencing the notorious moment when the Queen of Pop Madonna tumbled down stairs whilst performing Living for Love at the 2015 Brit Awards, before admitting he'd experienced similar mortification: "Look at the Madonna incident, for example. Admittedly, on a smaller scale, it happened to me once on the T4 stage." "Walking down steps, I tripped and fell. It was so embarrassing – and it was on TV. But people forget... until you remind them about it, which I just did." During a 2023 episode of Sky's Extraordinary Life Stories, Peter reflected on the unforgettable blunder whilst performing live on stage, sharing the cringe-worthy moment from the T4 on The Beach festival in 2009 with presenter John Reynolds. The dad-of-five stated: "I appeared on the episode to discuss lots of topics, including my childhood, career highlights and family life. We also discussed the funny moments in my career, including my unfortunate trip off the stage at T4 On The Beach, among other things." The accident happened whilst Peter was belting out his then-latest track Behind Closed Doors. He stumbled whilst singing to the packed audience and ended up plummeting straight off the stage, his glasses flying off in the process. However, demonstrating true professionalism, he persevered and refused to let the fact his glasses slid of his face prevent him from completing his performance.

In videos posted online, the star could be seen slipping as she walked past a cameraman, who nearly lost his footing too, just before she rather ironically sang the lyrics, 'Into the night … we fall,' and then hit the ground, landing on her backstage - before getting up like a pro and continuing her walk by the brricade. Peter, who is famed for his 90s hit Mysterious Girl and currently working on a new album, said of the incident: "I saw Lady Gaga 's awkward faceplant at a gig. It's awful when that happens. But I doubt she'll be having sleepless nights over it – these things happen during live shows." He added, referring to the moment Queen of Pop Madonna took a stumble down some steps during the 2015 Brit Awards while performing Living for Love before confessing he's felt the heat of similar embarrassment: "Look at the Madonna incident, for example. Admittedly, on a smaller scale, it happened to me once on the T4 stage. Walking down steps, I tripped and fell. It was so embarrassing – and it was on TV. But people forget… until you remind them about it, which I just did." During an episode of Sky's Extraordinary Life Stories in 2023, , Peter opened up on the memorable slip-up while performing live on stage, recalling the cringeworthy moment at the T4 on The Beach festival in 2009 to host, John Reynolds. The dad-of-four said: "I appeared on the episode to discuss lots of topics, including my childhood, career highlights and family life. We also discussed the funny moments in my career, including my unfortunate trip off the stage at T4 On The Beach, among other things." The mishap occurred while Peter was performing his then-new song Behind Closed Doors. He lost his footing while singing to the capacity crowd and ended up falling completely off the stage, losing his glasses in the process. However, like a pro, he carried on and didn't let the fact his glasses slid off his face stop him from finishing his song.

Lady Gaga painfully slips mid-performance landing in front of crowd
Lady Gaga painfully slipped and fell during a performance in Las Vegas this weekend. The singer, 39, performed her hit song Vanish Into You at her Mayhem Ball show at the T-Mobile Arena on Saturday night. The crowd were loving the hit song, and the star was met with huge applause as she entered the corridors around the stage to greet fans. Unfortunately for Gaga, she was wearing a long sparkled black cape, a matching leotard and a pair of knee-high boots, which didn't have quite enough friction against the slick floor. As she rounded the corner of the stage, she slipped and slapped into the ground, landing painfully on her hip. The star smacked into the ground directly in front of the audience, with many of them capturing the moment on their phones. Gaga quickly scrambled to her feet with the help of her boduuguards, who were quick to get her back up on her feet. Not skipping a beat, the singer continued to belt out her record and greet fans at the barricade at the front of the stage. Although she was able to persevere, fans were still concerned about her following the nasty tumble. 'Omg her hip!? 😣' said quemasjessi. 'Gaga please your hip gurlll we still have a full tour ahead of us 😭😭😭' said daniellekatsav. The singer's tour kicked off on Wednesday, July 16, last week in Paradise, Nevada and isn't set to conclude until January 2026, with a final performance scheduled to take place in Tokyo, Japan. On Tuesday, July 22, the star paid tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne while performing in San Francisco. The singer wore a top with his face on it and played one of his hit songs, Crazy Train. The Grammy award-winning artist proudly showed her shirt to the camera before headbanging along with her dancers. The group then joined hands and took a bow to the audience together, closing out the show. When the singer announced the tour in March 2025, Gaga was sued by Lost International, a lifestyle and surf brand. More Trending The group allegedly filed a $100,000,000 trademark infringement lawsuit against the Abracadabra hitmaker, alleging that Gaga has 'attempted to misappropriate the 'Mayhem' name, trademark, and stylized mark by releasing an album called Mayhem, launching a tour with that same name, and selling clothing and accessories with that name.' The suit, seen by Rolling Stone, was filed on Tuesday, March 25, and claims the group attempted to give notice about the alleged infringement. Gaga's lawyer hit back, stating it was a 'disappointing' and 'opportunistic abuse of the legal system'. Got a story?
