'Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan' box office collections day 7: Vikrant Massey's film struggles to cross Rs 2 crore; wraps up week 1 with Rs 1.7 crore
The romantic drama 'Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan', starring Vikrant Massey , Shanaya Kapoor , and Zain Khan Durrani , completed its first week at the box office with underwhelming numbers. As reported by Sacnilk, the film earned approximately Rs 7 lakhs, bringing the total week 1 collection to Rs 1.70 crore India net. The film started slow with Rs 30 lakhs on Day 1 (Friday) and saw minimal growth over the weekend with Rs 50 lakhs on both Saturday and Sunday. However, post-Monday, the numbers began to dwindle drastically. Monday brought in just Rs 13 lakhs. It further declined throughout the weekdays. Occupancy on Day 7 On Thursday, the film recorded a modest 8.5% average occupancy across Hindi 2D shows. While some cities like Mumbai (13.75%) and NCR (10.50%) showed occasional spikes, the general turnout across regions remained disappointing. Morning shows opened to a weak 6.55% which peaked only slightly during the night at 12%. Cities like Chennai reported negligible activity, and single-digit occupancy was seen in major regions like Pune (6.5%) and Surat (3.5%). The Verdict Directed by Santosh Singh, 'Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan' aimed to deliver a subtle, emotionally charged narrative. Unfortunately, due to minimal pre-release buzz and mixed audience reception, the film has struggled to gain traction. Vikrant Massey steps away from 'Don 3', search begins for new 'VILLAIN'

Deutsche Telekom to boost IT efficiency
German telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom plans to enhance its IT operations by implementing IBM Concert, an AI-powered automation solution. According to IBM, this initiative aims to improve efficiency in patch management and security activity orchestration within Deutsche Telekom's digital infrastructure. IBM Concert employs AI-driven recommendations and workflows powered by IBM watsonx to streamline IT operations. This adoption is expected to significantly reduce operational costs and improve response times in addressing vulnerabilities. Patches are essential for securing software environments, and IBM Concert facilitates this by integrating various data sources to create a comprehensive plan for prioritised patching. IBM global managing director Steve Canepa said: 'Security and trust are the cornerstones of success for all telecommunications companies. 'IBM Concert incorporates modern AI and automation technologies so that Deutsche Telekom can stay ahead of the dramatically escalating number and complexity of critical vulnerabilities across their hybrid cloud platform." IBM revealed that Deutsche Telekom's decision to implement this solution follows a successful pilot that demonstrated substantial gains in efficiency. During the pilot, the median time to patch critical vulnerabilities was reduced from 80 hours to eight hours. Deutsche Telekom group chief information officer (CIO) Peter Leukert said: "Secure operating systems form the foundation for all applications, databases, and services that we offer our customers. When it comes to patching, the time factor has taken on a critical role in the AI era. 'Those who use available updates immediately and automatically can reduce security risks. We face this challenge together with our partner. "We were looking for a standalone solution on the market that combines all the complex aspects of patch management and reliably automates everything." IBM Concert aggregates data from security scans, application information, and publicly available databases to develop an optimised patching strategy. This process is claimed to decrease patching time per instance from 90 minutes to 20 minutes, freeing IT teams for more strategic tasks. The solution supports fully automated installation of operating system patches for platforms such as Microsoft Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. It integrates tools like Ansible Playbooks in cloud environments, ensuring seamless execution within maintenance windows. The automation process includes generating ServiceNow change requests and documenting results in the IT service management system. This ensures compliance, improves traceability of changes, and provides a quick overview for maintaining hybrid cloud environments. Why enterprises need to balance security and AI spending
The appeal of AI is clear: the technology promises to spur revolutionary innovations that can drive greater business efficiency, productivity and new revenues, but not without security. Like any other enterprise asset, AI systems and applications require protection from threat actors who are eager to breach models for their own profit motives. Securing AI models from advancing threats that could compromise the integrity of data output is a daunting challenge that too few organisations have a handle on today. Add threat actors harnessing AI for their own nefarious purposes to the mix and the situation becomes that much more daunting for the enterprise. Accenture surveyed 2286 executives, 80% of whom are Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) and uncovered a perilous scenario where enterprises are largely unready to protect their assets. Just 20% of those surveyed said they were ready to defend their generative AI models from cyber threats. Accenture reported that only 34% have a mature cybersecurity strategy. One of the issues enterprises are running into with respect to their security postures in general, is that the prioritisation of AI development and deployment over other IT investments often means security falls by the wayside. Between 2023 and 2024, Accenture reports investments in GenAI projects were 1.6 times higher than security spending. If this trend continues, there is a risk that AI systems built on less than secure ground are vulnerable to cyberthreats. Only 28% of the executives surveyed said they are integrating security capabilities into all transformative projects from the earliest development phases. Only 42% said they are mapping security development spending to AI development. The news is not all bleak. For organisations that prioritise cybersecurity investments and focus on infrastructure resilience as they carry out transformational projects, they create elevated security postures that mitigates serious risks. Enterprises that achieve what Accenture terms a "Reinvention-Ready Zone" classification face a 69% lower risk of the kind of sophisticated cyber attacks that leverage advanced techniques including AI to cripple operations. The investment in security brings other dividends. Accenture found that organisations that prioritise security spending achieve a 1.7 times lower technical debt due in large part to the overall efficiency and resilience of their infrastructure. The clear takeaway is that enterprises need to balance their AI infrastructure investments with their security spending to ensure the most protected, consistent, and high performing environment possible. CNN Panel Recoils At Conservative Guest's Comment To Friend's Undocumented Wife
Right-wing radio host Ben Ferguson caught the panel on CNN's 'NewsNight' off guard on Thursday with an anecdote about what he said to the undocumented wife of one of his best friends. 'One of my best friends married an illegal immigrant,' said Ferguson, who co-hosts the 'Verdict' podcast with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas). 'We had this conversation at dinner, and I said to her, 'I'm sorry that you decided to break the law. There are a lot of Americans that break laws, and they go to jail. And there's a consequence for your actions.'' Host Abby Phillip pressed for clarification, calling it a 'very interesting anecdote' amid the Trump administration's crackdown on immigration. 'And you said to her, 'You need to be deported?'' Phillip asked. Ferguson replied: 'I said the same thing my dad said to me if I ever got arrested: 'Don't expect me to bail you out. You're accountable for your actions.'' He claimed he also told the woman, who has children with his close friend: 'I think you're an incredible human being. I love that you have this love with your family and your friends. It doesn't erase your kindness or your love, the fact that you broke the law.' When asked if he had reported the woman to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Ferguson said: 'I'm not going to call ICE on somebody.' Pressed on why not, he explained that she had actually appeared on his radio show to talk about her status. And he added: 'Because they were working through the process with lawyers while this was happening. They already had an interaction with law. They were already going through the process.' Other panelists pointed out that many of the people who have been detained by ICE agents in recent weeks are in a similar legal position.
