Multiple outlets in Italy and Turkey are reporting that Napoli and Galatasaray are currently signing and exchanging the necessary documents to complete the sale of Nigeria international Victor Osimhen. According to the likes of Fabrizio Romano and Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, the deal is now at the 'signing stage', and lawyers are currently working in an attempt to complete the transaction before the end of the weekend. Earlier this week, Napoli and Galatasaray finally reached a decisive agreement in their talks over Osimhen's transfer. The Nigeria international netted 65 Serie A goals from 108 league appearances during his time in Naples, and was the Capocannoniere as Napoli won their first Serie A title since the Diego Maradona era during the 2022-23 season. Osimhen's loan spell with Galatasaray in 2024-25 brought frightening form in front of goal, with 37 scored and eight assists provided from 41 appearances across all competitions last season.

Scott McTominay and Billy Gilmour are set to wave goodbye to one of their Napoli teammates this summer after the Italian giants reached an agreement with Galatasaray for the £65million sale of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen over the weekend. According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, the 26-year-old hitman gave the Serie A giants a 'clear sign' that he wants to join the Turkish club this summer, having enjoyed a goal-laden spell in the Super Lig last season, scoring 26 goals following his arrival at the club on loan last August. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad Out-of-favour at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium since the arrival of head coach Antonio Conte last summer, Osimhen rejected a lucrative move to the Saudi Pro League a year ago in order to join the Turkish giants, and went on to play a massive role in helping Okan Buruk's secure a domestic double, scoring twice against Trabzonspor in the Turkish Cup final. Scott McTominay has flourished under Antonio Conte at Napoli last season - meaning the Serie A giants didn't feel the loss of Victor Osimhen. | Getty Images His departure from the Serie A giants did not harm his parent club though, with the McTominay-inspired Napoli winning the Scudetto for the first time since 2023, which has paved the way for a permanent exit for the forward this summer. However, despite Osimhen's 'clear desire' to return to Galatasaray, it was reported that Napoli had rejected four offers from the Turkish champions for theNigerian over the summer, before finally accepting a deal worth around £65million over the weekend. Conte has been linked with a £50million move for Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez recently, having already added Manchester City icon Kevin DeBruyne, Noa Lang and Sam Beukema to his squad this summer. However, despite rejecting multiple offers for Osimhen, reports of a strained dynamic between Conte and the 26-year-old meant he was never likely to return to Naples ahead of the 2025/26 campaign. Writing on his official X account, Romano wrote: 'Galatasaray and Napoli are now checking and proceeding with all formal documents for Victor Osimhen deal. He's been clear since day one of the window: only Galatasaray. No chance for other clubs.' The 19-year-old forward was subject of big money bids from Crystal Palace and Ipswich Town in January having impressed on loan to EFL Championship side Middlesbrough last season, but is hoping to play a part at Anfield this coming season, despite reported interest from AFC Bournemouth, Brentford, Crystal Palace, Everton, PSV Eindhoven and Nottingham Forest.

Morata set to join Como once Osimhen completes Galatasaray move

Victor Osimhen's permanent move to Galatasaray means Alvaro Morata will join Como. Osimhen's permanent transfer to Galatasaray will pave the way for Morata's move to Como. Details behind Osimhen's permanent Galatasaray transfer Football Italia exclusively reported on Sunday that Galatasaray and Napoli had reached an agreement over Osimhen's permanent transfer to Turkey in a €75m deal, with the full fee to be paid by the summer of 2026. Napoli will also retain a 10% sell-on clause and have agreed that Galatasaray will not be allowed to sell Osimhen to another Serie A club for the next two years. Once all the paperwork is complete, Galatasaray will approve Morata's move to Como via Milan, as reported by Fabrizio Romano. Morata set to join Como via Milan Morata is currently on loan at Gala until the end of the year, December 31, 2025, but he'll terminate his temporary spell in Istanbul and join Como from Milan. Newcastle consider transfer swoop for Osimhen after Ekitike blow

According to Bild, Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is one of the names on the Newcastle shortlist. The Nigerian international is on the market and currently linked with Galatasaray, where he spent last season on loan. However, Newcastle may consider swooping for Osimhen to strengthen their frontline ahead of next season. Osimhen is an out-and-out centre-forward who leads the line with ferocity and causes havoc for opposition defenders. His ability to get his shots off from any angle makes him a menace. Osimhen should be playing for a bigger club, but his salary demands are proving problematic. Al-Hilal have tried to sign Osimhen, but he rejected the move. Galatasaray are trying to sign him permanently following his successful loan spell, but Napoli want his full €75 million release clause paid. Newcastle could enter the race for Osimhen, and he would be an excellent addition to their squad. He bagged 37 goals and eight assists to spearhead Gala to the domestic double last season. In the 2022/23 season, he led Napoli to their first Scudetto in three decades. Former Napoli manager Luciano Spalletti hailed him as a 'great striker' and said 'he is the complete package'. He is a capable finisher, a hard worker, and a bullish option for Newcastle. Liverpool man Darwin Nunez is on the list of potential alternatives to Ekitike, but the Magpies should be nowhere near him. In three seasons at Liverpool, Nunez has missed 55 big chances in the league, scoring only 25 goals. That is a poor return, and the Magpies would be better served moving for Osimhen.

Galatasaray show interest in Man City's goalkeeper; no official bid yet

Galatasaray has shown interest in Manchester City's goalkeeper. By Ravi Kumar Jha Published on July 21, 2025, 08:37 IST Galatasaray has shown interest in Manchester City's world class goalkeeper named Ederson. They just secured the signing of Victor Osimhen from Napoli and now they are finding the way to bring in City's keeper. However, the club hasn't made any official bid to sign him, only the enquiries made. City don't have any problem to sell him, it's just they want their desired amount for the goalkeeper. Turkish giants Galatasaray are making headlines once again, this time setting their sights on Manchester City's world-class goalkeeper Ederson. Fresh from securing a blockbuster signing of Victor Osimhen from Napoli, the club is now exploring the possibility of bringing in the experienced Brazilian shot-stopper. While Galatasaray have not submitted any official bid yet, they have made initial enquiries about Ederson's availability. Manchester City, for their part, are reportedly open to letting the 30-year-old leave this summer—but only if their valuation is met. Ederson, a key figure in City's recent dominance under Pep Guardiola, has won multiple Premier League titles and played a crucial role in their historic treble-winning season. However, with City willing to listen to offers, his departure could be on the cards if the right offer arrives.
