‘Not surprised': New damning accusations against former Obama administration over Russiagate
Former Victorian Liberal Party president Michael Kroger has discussed accusations from US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard against the former Obama administration on the Trump-Russia collusion probe after the 2016 election. 'Am I surprised? No, not in the slightest,' he told Sky News host James Morrow. 'Am I surprised that people in the Obama administration were somehow behind the scenes trying to put some of this together? No, I'm not surprised, and it will be absolutely fascinating to see what these documents reveal.'

Controversial MP's supporters storm Liberal election
The Victorian Liberal Party is faced with a prodigiously unpopular state Labor government. And yet, it cannot seem to manoeuvre itself into electability. Party moderates and elders hold firebrand upper house MP Moira Deeming and her successful defamation suit against ex-party leader John Pesutto responsible. Deeming's attendance at a controversial rally gate-crashed by neo-Nazis, and Pesutto's subsequent (and reversed) decision to expel her from the party room has ripped the party apart.

‘No means no': Victorians don't want a Voice treaty
Sky News host Rita Panahi claims the Victorian Liberal Party has been 'handed a gift' amid the Allan government's 'calamitous race politics'. This comes as Victoria is expected to introduce its own Voice to Parliament to advise on policies affecting Indigenous Australians. The Herald Sun has revealed the taxpayer-funded body is being pitched as a state-based version of the federal government's failed Voice referendum in 2023. Ms Panahi urged the Victorian Liberal Party to 'find their spine' and principles and stand strongly against the recommendations from the Yoorrook Justice Commission report and the 'divisive race politics of the left'. 'If the Liberals want a chance at forming government in 2026, they need to be loudly, unequivocally, and unapologetically opposed to the Voice and treaty. No means no,' she said.
